It goes to show you that ANYTHING can happen in the National Football League. Not so easy when you fall 34-31 (PIT at OAK from earlier today). There was a Monday Night Football game last year or two years ago when Baltimore was at Jacksonville, and the Jaguars ended up beating the Ravens in a low-scoring game. Pick whomever to win any game, but either team could win the game. The NFL can be deceptive to try to predict and confidently pick a game.

As of this post, it's 10-0, New England with 7:09 left in the first quarter in Baltimore. Only offense going on so far is about 6 or so skirmishes/fights (I've seen three) between the two. Almost like the NHL on grass with these arguments and fights.

So who lost that should have won this week? (Apparently).
Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Washington, New Orleans, Detroit. We could see a few more.

Arizona's good. Very good. Too surprising good.

Revis done for the season with a torn ACL. Loss with this victory. A huge loss. I expect our team to be stomped flat by both San Francisco and Houston.

That awkward moment trying to follow the streaker when all they give you is the blimp camera and the crowd's cheers.

I thought it was funny, you'd just hear "ahh" every few seconds then saw a little speck on the screen where they got him .

BTW, the Pick 'Em game we set up on Yahoo is BS. You have to cover the spread for your pick to count, which is total BS for what we want to do.

O god I thought the Ravens missed that kick...
And it looks like Revis may be out of the season.

Well we face philly next in week 5.'

Steelers lose that and we're toast. But remember guys, we were 2-2 last year and ended 12-4.

Its not a straight pick 'em, which I realized. I also realized that I forgot to pick any game after 1 PM :ouch:.

I might be able to switch it to straight winners and losers.

EDIT: Nope. Can't do it. We'll do that next season - with more GTPers involved hopefully.

Anyone see Belichick grab the ref's arm after the game?

That's not gonna well with Goodell. That, and the crowd making sure replacement refs know that they suck.

Meh, I'm to mad over us losing/bmore winning to care. We gotta shape up versus philly or it's all over.

Packers at Seahawks TONIGHT!

The Pacific Northwest is in the house for Monday Night Football as the Packers will be ready to rock in Seattle. Who you got winning tonight's match- Green Bay or Seattle?

The Texans, Falcons, and Cardinals are the only undefeated teams remaining after only 3 weeks. I think there is some major variance introduced by the refs this season, causing some of the usual juggernauts to falter a bit or promoting upsets. I think Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Aaron Rodgers,... and maybe Drew Brees (haven't seen a saints game this season) are thrown off by the refs allowing so much interference.

I was excited to see Revis cover Fitzgerald. Now I don't know how Cromartie is going to do it and god forbid if they put Kyle Wilson on him because someone has to cover Michael Floyd as well. This is a huge loss to the defense. Now they have to change their whole defensive scheme because their star player is out.

Yeah, that Ravens-Pats game last night was pretty bad. To steal a quote from Adam Proteau (hockey journalist), the NFL should have their regular refs, and the NHL should get replacement team owners.

I hope the Seahawks win.

But honestly, I almost don't care anymore after that extra miserable commute home from work. Stupid traffic going to the game.

So far it has been a very defensive game. Our 'Hawks defense is exactly what I expected. We have a great secondary that is smothering the receivers, and and excellent outside pass rush that's smothering Rodgers. I am surprised that we haven't gotten at least a field goal, though. Our offense needs to get a pass game going.

EDIT: I should speak up more often. Our next possession we get a beautiful bomb for a TD. My biggest problem is I was *this close* to being able to attend this game, and I would have been in that side's endzone. I promised my friends an experience, and that right there delivers.

This is why I wish EA didn't do the week's fantasy cards for Madden without all the games being played. Chris Clemons more than deserves his own card this week, and that's only after one half. Who knows how well they will do by game's end.

I don't know what game the refs were watching, but that was more of an interception than touchdown.

May the ridiculing of the refs continue?

This is a joke? The 2012 season will go down in history as the biggest joke of a season in NFL history. The players and the coaches just need to go on strike until the replacement refs are gone.

I wonder if the new CBA said anything about voiding it if the NFL doesn't care enough to get actual functioning Refs on the field. Clearly these scabs are defective.

While I do agree that it appeared to be much more interception than completion, but what do the guys on ESPN's football show say to do in that scenario as a defender? KNOCK IT DOWN! If Jennings would have just knocked the ball down instead of going for the interception, then it would have likely been a non-issue.

I'm happy for Wilson and the Seahawks but they lost that game and that was an interception and if not, offensive P.I. and Goodell is going to become the most hated man in America just so the NFL can save a few million. I don't know man...
