What an awful game.

I watched a bit of the beginning of the game and then flipped the channel to watch the Burn Noticeseries finale. After that was finished, I forgot to flip the channel back to tonight's game. I am guessing the weather has been bad enough to cause the sloppy game?

Bad plays, bad calls, bad tempers. I have no idea why Ryan was forcing throw first and then rushing. Should be the other way around.

So. My favourite team (Broncos) against my least favourite team (Giants). Screw the brother thing, I just want to see the Broncos win and the Giants lose.

Perhaps another touchdown or 7 from Peyton would do it?

I was going to say yesterday that I thought the NYJ at NE game was going to be closer than what the "experts" would think. But to avoid sounding like a fool, I didn't mention that here. Still a great effort by the Jets from what I've seen. Sad the game had to end in that fight in the closing moments.

The defense played well but also NE rec dropped some passes. Geno was ok to bad. I really like how he put the blame on himself. He played like a rookie which I expected hopefully he can get better

Sanchez > Geno.

I do agree at this moment in time. Sanchez would have been starting if Ryan doesn't lose his mind. Sanchez can be good if the team around him is good. His play the last couple of years can be attributed to poor coaching and bad personnel. That said its time to move and what Geno can do.

DOLPHINS! Yeah! Defense comes through after offense fails to seal the Colts's fate.

Sixty minutes wasn't enough. In a brutal offensive performance by both teams, the Houston Texans ended up winning 30-24 in Overtime. We didn't have as great of a performance for the majority of the game. But like in our win at San Diego, you sometimes have to learn to win ugly games. Nobody really set the world on fire on either the Texans or Titans side. But regardless, the Texans improved to 2-0. We are now 2-0 to start for the fourth successive year. Our field goal kicker botched every proper field goal attempt. By the way, this game was the Texans' home opener.

Elsewhere...

* I want to give a shout-out to Omnis' Dolphins on picking up a nice win at Indianapolis. They've done what my Texans have never done- beat Indy at Indy. I think it was a 24-20 victory for the Dolphins.

* It was 17-16 in Kansas City as the Chiefs took down the Dallas Cowboys.

Congratulations to all other winners from today's games and tonight's match. So what did your boys do today?

Well of course my favs the Jets lost and my local team the Panthers let a rookie qb drive 80yds with no timeouts to win the game. Then the Giants got run by the Broncos so not a good football week.

Wouldn't worry about the Bills. They'll be done as soon as it gets cold and miserable in Buffalo.

So not only did my Seahawks put a beat down on the 49'ers on national TV, but we also we a Guinness World Record for loudest crowd roar at 136.6db. All-in-all, a good night in the Emerald City.

Fantastic night indeed.

We absolutely destroyed the 49ers AND broke a Guinness World Record. What a great game, though I will admit it was probably a lot more fun rooting and being on the winning side.

Going into the game with low expectations, the 49ers losing was not that surprising. I thought they would at least make a better game out of it, but I was in no way expecting a win.

Steelers at Bengals TONIGHT!

Both teams are without a win on this young season. Somebody could improve to 1-1 (unless the game somehow gets tied). The black and yellow boys will get a taste of the Midwest when they head into the Cincinnati Bengals' jungle. Who you got tonight?

Cincinnati is favored by 6.5 according to Yahoo! Sports.

Steelers are reeling right now so I think it will be hard for to win this game. I have question who do you guys feel is the best team right now? Is Denver, Seattle or San Fran?

I think any of the three can win on any given night on a neutral field. If the game is being played at Seattle, then Seattle has a very nice advantage. I would also say the same goes for Denver and San Francisco at home, but not nearly to the same extent.

If I'm the Jets, I'm calling Washington and sending them Cromartie and Sanchez for Kirk Cousins.

Why would the Washington Professional Football Team want Mark Sanchez on their roster?

Because if Robert Griffin breaks off his knee again, they can salvage one from Ol' Dirty.

And their secondary is garbage fondue.

Woohoo! The Bengals pulled it off. Dalton did not have his best stuff tonight. But I'm very excited for the rookies. Eifert had a nice 60something yard catch, and Gio was electric, getting a touchdown rushing and also a receiving one off of a screen he took for over 20 yards. And the Bengals D looked great. Big Ben did his usual, somehow avoiding being taken down, but Cincy did manage to sack him twice. The 2 turnovers didn't hurt things, either. It's always nice to beat the Steelers.

Next up we host Green Bay. :scared:
