Lions went back to the being the Lions and being a joke in the NFC. Chicago and Detroit are probably trying to have a race to the bottom in the NFC North since both teams seem to be complete trash.

I don't understand why they keep using Joique Bell, and I'm not saying that because I own Ameer Abdullah in fantasy. Bell is looking like Trent Richardson out there.

Bell has always been really streaky. He either goes on a tear or looks like he's never played on the field. Combine that with fumbles in either form and it is a wonder as to why they won't let Riddick have a bigger piece of the workload instead of Bell. I've always liked Theo on the field, and at least he doesn't fumble as often as Joique does.

Let's start the first weekend of October 2015 with some football! Tonight, it's the Baltimore Ravens at the Pittsburgh Steelers. The QB keys to the Steelers' car will be given to Michael Vick. You have to wonder if Baltimore can turn it around in the Steel City tonight, or if the Steelers can continue to go on a positive clip.

Other games this weekend... the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins is too good for the United States, so they'll settle their differences in London, England, UK. Dem' Cowboys and dem' Saints clash in New Orleans as the NFC East meets the NFC South for Sunday Night Football. This Monday Night Football features cats and birds- Detroit Lions will pay a visit to the Seattle Seahawks.

Enjoy this weekend's games, and good luck to all of your teams.

And I'll be there yet again. It was this or Arsenal v United...decided to go for the less nervy option!

I actually saw the Dolphins' last game and against the Bills they were, quite frankly, crap. The Jets have a bad rep but they've been good so far and only lost to the 'good' (read: awful) Eagles so far. So even though the Dolphins were here last year, I've got to go with NYJ.

Enjoy your morning game! Not even we get that with our football.

If you slashed my legs with a machete and forced me to kick a field goal, I'd have a better chance of making it than Josh Scobee. He needs to be cut from the Steelers and replaced with someone else.

Enjoy your Sunday of NFL action. Right now, it is 10-0 in favor of the New York Jets ahead of the Miami Dolphins in London with 10 minutes left in first half.

That sucked... we failed epically- 48-21. Texans decide to score points once the Atlanta Falcons was up 42-0. Brian Hoyer stepped in for Ryan Mallett as Atlanta brought in most of their backups. So we became roadkill to the Dirty Birds. Capping off being shoved into the meat grinder was a late fumble by the Texans that ended up being a defensive touchdown for the Falcons. Atlanta didn't even kick the field goal after that final fumble. Cecil Shorts III had a little shoulder injury on that final play. Great to be given some mercy. Still... today was a living nightmare for the Texans.

No rest for the weary because up next... more important business- hosting the Indianapolis Colts on this coming Thursday night. It's the first time dealing with Andre Johnson in colors other than Texans colors.

Congratulations to all winners from this week, including the New York Jets winning 27-14 against the Miami Dolphins in the game played Wembley Stadium in London.

Provided that the Ravens season goes like I'm feeling it is :(, who should they REALLY be eyeing in next year's draft?
Someone who isn't a bust. :P

* I'm a Lions fan- I know how it feels to watch a garbage pile of a season.

IN HIS DEFENSE, BRESHAD PERRIMAN IS INJURED....

Half-tempted to sink like $50 on the Ravens winning every single one of their games from here on out, including the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs kicker may have set a franchise record for field goals today, but it wasn't nearly enough to topple the Bengals as our offense went nuts again. I must say, Dalton has looked very impressive this year. He hasn't been overthrowing his targets as in the past.

4-0 on the season. We have a tough test next week as we host the Seahawks though.

Lions at Seahawks TONIGHT!

Ferocious felines from MoTown are set to invade the Emerald City and challenge their favorite breed of fowl to a football game. It's the 0-3 Detroit Lions set to take on the 1-2 Seattle Seahawks. Yeah... not exactly an NFC Championship Preview record-wise. But either some cats or some birds are going to win tonight in beautiful Seattle at Seattle's lovely football stadium. Who'll get it done?

For this game and according to Yahoo! Sports, SEA is favored by 10, and the Over/Under is 43 points.

I stopped watching midway through the first after Ebron went down. Surprised that it wasn't a Hawks rout, but not shocked at the loss.

Tonight is the start of a new week of NFL Football! Tonight, the AFC South is in vogue tonight as two stumbling teams clash: the Indianapolis Colts visit the Houston Texans. The week ends with the Pittsburgh Steelers at the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football.

Good luck to all of your teams.

The Texans have no chemistry right now, stuck on one win on the saeson. Up next- a two-game road trip starting at Jacksonville next Sunday and then at the Miami Dolphins the Sunday after. It's almost as if the Texans don't care about being any kind of fire-breathing team. They aren't soft, but more like sloppy. These boys better get it together because s:censored:ty performances like at Atlanta and home against Indy is not going to help this team moving forward.

Well, that's it for us. Time to see how everybody else does.

So Buffalo picks up a fumble on the kickoff and puts them within 5 2 yards of the goal line on literally the first play. Except they got another penalty so they instead lost 5 yards and had to rekick it, and it was run back to the ~25 or so.

I don't think I can even watch this anymore.

Matt Stafford is just playing like garbage along with the Lions offense. 2 picks and a fumble so far in this game. Just awful.

49ers come up oh so short, going down in a nail biter 30-27 against the Giants.

Much improved performance by the 49ers. Still a few rough edges, though.

Hayne deserves more game time, especially after his solid runs tonight. Coming very close to a TD on two occasions.

Steelers at Chargers TONIGHT!

This Monday night, the AFC is in vogue as the Pittsburgh Steelers pay a visit to the San Diego Chargers. Rather than enjoy the SoCal lifestyle, the Steelers will try to power down the Chargers. The San Diego Chargers are all powered up to take out Pittsburgh . Pittsburgh travelled a LONG way to get to San Diego, but will that trip result in a victory? Both teams are 2-2, so pending a draw or something, who'll get their third win of the season?

San Diego is favored by 4, and the Over/Under is 46. Good luck to both PIT and SD.

WHO DEY!!!!

My brother and I were keeping track of the Bengals/Seahawks game on his phone while we were at the Nascar race. We could not believe it when they made up a 24-7 deficit in the 4th quarter to win it in overtime.

After the first 3 quarters, it was looking like the same old Bungles. But after that crazy comeback, it's really looking like this team is legit.

Still the Packers and Broncos remain unbeaten, but Manning still doesn't look good.

I am laughing a lot at the Lions plight though, although at this rate the Lions-Chiefs game at London will probably be absolute tosh. Previously I thought Stafford was inconsistent, now he's just incompetent. Arm strength means nothing if you can't do something with it...

This is Week 6 of NFL action. But before we prepare for all the games ocming up, let me do a Standings update. Check it:

AFC NORTH: Cincinnati! (5-0), PIT (3-2), CLE (2-3), BAL (1-4)
AFC SOUTH: Indianapolis (3-2), TEN (1-3), HOU and JAX (1-4)
AFC WEST: Denver! (5-0), SD and OAK (2-3 each), KC (1-4)

There is still a lot of football to be played before we can declare anything. This week will start up with an NFC South match of the Atlanta Falcons at the New Orleans Saints. The Sunday Night game this week will be the New England Patriots at the Indianapolis Colts. And to end the week, it will be the New York Giants at the Philadelphia Eagles.

Good luck to all of your teams moving forward.

The new week begins tonight. It's the unbeaten Atlanta Falcons heading down to New Orleans (or "Nawlins") to take on the New Orleans Saints. Can dem' Dirty Birds beat dem' Saints? We shall see tonight! Atlanta seems to be favored by 3.5, and the Over/Under is 51.5 points.

The Toilet Bowl- err, Lions/ Bears game, is today. The laughing stocks in the NFC North square off soon.

Texans at Jaguars isn't exactly an AFC Playoff preview either.

Anyhow, good luck to all of your teams this week.

Well Kirk Cousins has thrown his usual two pic minimum. I was concerned with this as it had the look of a trap game. I was hoping that Cousins would remember that he is not a good QB and throw his normal 2 pics. Barring a collapse of epic proportions the Jets should be 4-1 when they face the Pats next week
