All agreed on Odell Beckham's actions today. Something tells me he'll probably get some slap-on-the-wrist penalty, or maybe none at all. That helmet contact was absolutely foul. I am only going on what I seen in highlight packages as to what O. Beckham Jr.'s antics. What do you think the penalty should be for O. Beckham's actions today in that game?

Absolutely unacceptable what Beckham did out there. Along with the helmet to helmet hit, he directed punches at not only Norman's, but also Finnegan's head on multiple occasions. He should be fined a hefty amount and considered for a suspension.

On a different NFL note, the Bengals clinched a playoff spot with a win over the 49ers, claiming their 11th victory of the season. Pittsburgh came back to beat Denver, so it will take one more win for us to clinch the AFC North. Next week is the all important game though. If we beat Denver, we will be the #2 seed. If we lose, we will need to win the final game against the Ravens AND have Denver to fall to the Chargers if we want that ever so precious bye week.

Here is how someone views Odell Beckham Jr. for his actions from today's CAR at NYG game: http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/p...cted-first&ex_cid=sportscenterTW?sf17466970=1

A key phrase I read in simply skimming through the article- "...penalized three times for unsportsmanlike conduct..." If you follow college football, you may know that if you get two Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalties against you, you're disqualified from the game. The article suggests Beckham Jr. may take a bank account hit of up to $58K USD. Thing is, he's going to be punished pretty hard for his actions today.

Lions at Saints TONIGHT!

Dat' NFC. Dem' Lions. Dem Saints. Dat Superdome. Yes, it is the NFC North meeting the NFC South. Unfortunately for both teams, they are both last in their respective divisions. The Detroit Lions are 4-9 and 4th in the NFC North, and New Orleans is 5-8 and 4th in the NFC South. They say teams with nothing to lose can be the most dangerous. So that may be the only sell for these two with a combined record of 9-17. Who will win tonight in the heart of "Who Dat?" Nation? We will find out in "Nawlins."

New Orleans is favored in this one by 2.5, and 51 points is the Over/Under.

THIS JUST IN...

New York Giants' Odell Beckham Jr. has been suspended one game for his actions in the CAR at NYG game yesterday. Thoughts?

Beckham and Josh Norman put on one of the most pathetic displays I have ever seen in a very long time. Two inflated egos collided and the result was grown men acting like grade school children. An embarrasement to the NFL and humanity in general.

Even though Beckham Jr. got suspended by the NFL, he can appeal his suspension. I think I've read he will appeal. According to something I read, Beckham Jr. thought he was threatened with a baseball bat from one of the Carolina Panthers. Always remember there are two sides to every story. Still, Odell Beckham Jr. had himself some brutal monkeyshines yesterday.

The officials should be suspended without pay for ever letting it get that far out of hand. The play where he clocked Norman from the side should have got him tossed right then. I think the Panthers have been taking bats out on the field during warm ups most of the season. If the bats just appeared this game then the Giants have a beef, if not then Beckham Jr. should get an extra fine for being a whiny tool. "I'm scared that bad man has a stick, & he gave me a dirty look." Receivers are nutballs he seems to be a bigger nutball then most. He would have been tossed after his second "unsportsman like conduct" in the college game, maybe the NFL should try that rule. Some players are very good examples for young people, others not so much. They seemed to be better role models when they weren't paid so much. When I was growing up (when dinosaurs still walked the earth) these players actually had real off season jobs. Bought a used car when I was a kid & the salesman was WR for the Chiefs.

He deserves retirement for sure because he had an impressive career. He is certainly going to the Hall of Fame when he's eligible.

35-27 was the score in New Orleans as the Detroit Lions went into The Big Easy with a great win. Congrats to AnthonyD1993's Detroit Lions on a job well done.

I am still sure Odell Beckham Jr. should be suspended and remain so. Unless there is something convincing that we don't know about or anything, I see very little chance this suspension get dropped. Remember that there are two sides to every story. It's going to be tough for Beckham Jr. to be vindicated after the crap he pulled yesterday.

On a lighter note, all the best in retirement to Charles Woodson after this season.

This is the final full weekend of NFL football in 2015, and it is the penultimate week of NFL regular season action. Here's your schedule for this week. The week begins on Thursday Night with an all-California AFC West showdown when the San Diego Chargers meet the Oakland Raiders. The day after Christmas will see the Washington Redskins go to face the Philadelphia Eagles. The Sunday Night game this week involves the New York Giants at the Minnesota Vikings. And finally, we got Dolph Drago's Cincinnati Bengals going a Mile High to meet the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football.

I'm sorry I didn't post this any earlier. I do feel a bit bad posting some things too late or later than usual. Our AnthonyD1993 called the Tampa Bay at St. Louis game as the "ketchup and mustard game" because of the horrid outfits they wore. I wonder what "Color Rush" uniforms San Diego and Oakland will wear.

One note to pass along... my Texans signed B.J. Daniels to back up Brandon Weeden at the QB spot. I hope it doesn't come to this, but I wonder how Shane Lechler would do if he were called in as QB. Shane Lechler is the Texans' punter. Brian Hoyer is still under the concussion protocol.

Enjoy this week of NFL football, fellow GTPlaneteers!

The one-game suspension for Odell Beckham Jr. was upheld today.

Lot of postseason scenarios are up in the air heading into this week. For example... if the Texans win at Tennessee AND if the Colts lose at Miami, then Houston wins the AFC South. Good luck to all teams that haven't yet been eliminated and still have a chance to make the postseason.

I completely forgot the Bengals were playing Monday night. So much for the #2 seed. God knows we can't perform under the lights in front of a national audience.

From what I read, the Cincinnati Bengals can get a First Round Bye if they win at Denver. They can clinch the AFC North with a win at Denver OR a loss or tie by the Steelers (PIT at BAL this Sunday). I wouldn't sweat too much if I were a Bengals fan. I think Cincy is in a good place as far as the postseason is concerned.

Rooting for you guys to lock up the #2 seed this weekend. It would mean that the Jets would still have a fighter's chance at the playoffs. If the Jets somehow win and the Bengals clinch the #2 seed (either by PIT loss or win VS DEN), Jets just have to win vs. Buffalo and they will be in the playoffs at the expense of Denver, Kansas City or Pittsburgh.

Don't forget... there is football tonight with San Diego at Oakland. So check this game out if you want an NFL fix for tonight.

I forgot to mention that Josh Norman got fined about $26K USD for his involvement in the whole Norman vs. Beckham Jr. incident.

Enjoy this weekend of action.

Likewise I'm rooting for you guys. I don't want to see Pittsburgh in there.

I'm sorry, people. There was a game last night I forgot to mention between Washington at Philadelphia. Washington won 38-24 and also won the NFC East by virtue of their win.

The Noon games are in progress, so enjoy the games today, including the New York Giants at Minnesota Vikings nightcap tonight. Good luck to all of your teams.

Wild weekend of games, great watch a bunch of them. 👍 A lot of the results I really didn't expect. Late season is so tense.

Double post but the situation changed mightily after the 1 PM Games:

Houston 34 - Tennessee 6: Houston wins next week and they clinch the #4 seed in the AFC.
Kansas City 17 - Cleveland 13: Kansas City has clinched at least a wild card berth.
Pittsburgh 17 - Baltimore 20: Pittsburgh needs help to make the playoffs.
New York 26 - New England 20 OT: Jets win on a mistake by the Pats on the kick for OT.
Carolina 13 - Atlanta 20: Miami pops the corks. The Panthers are no longer unbeaten.

Lions beat the 49ers 32-17. This week has been a hell of a week so far with excitement everywhere across the NFL.

Slater should have deferred. Patriots were going to kick either way. Except he tried to choose kick AND defer.

34-6, Texans defeat Titans. Breaking up the shutout in Nashville was a late, inconsequential touchdown by the Titans. Pro Bowlers DeAndre Hopkins and JJ Watt asserted themselves nicely in this game. Funny enough, Hopkins and Watt are the ONLY AFC South players going to this season's Pro Bowl. Texans end the season next Sunday hosting Jacksonville.

Elsewhere...

* The Indianapolis Colts won on the road 18-12 at Miami. Had Miami defeated Indy, we would have clinched the AFC South. That will have to go to next weekend.

* The Buffalo Bills are a happy bunch of fellows as they took down Dallas 16-6 in Orchard Park, NY.

* It's finally time to say it- DOWN GOES CAROLINA! The Atlanta Falcons brought the Carolina Panthers back down to Earth with a 20-13 win. The Dirty Birds handed Carolina their first loss of the season. So once again, the 1972 Miami Dolphins won't have company in being the NFL's only unbeaten team.

That does it for this post. Congratulations to all winners from this week.
