NFL 2015 Season

Crap. Why did the Jets have to lose?? I do not want to face Pittsburgh again. All I can say now is GO CHARGERS! If the Broncos do their job and win, then the Bengals' season is essentially over. No way are we beating Pittsburgh.

And one more sickening thing...if we hadn't blown our lead last week against Denver, we would be the #1 seed with New England losing today to the Dolphins. :banghead:

If anyone would have told me that he Lions would go on a run and finish 7-9 at the end of the season before the halfway point of the season, I would have laughed and called them a moron. Well, I guess I'm the moron since that's what happened. Wish they didn't suck for half the season, but they at least looked like a halfway decent team late in the season. Hopefully they don't suck next season, but I'd be kidding myself if I wasn't skeptical about what I just said.

All we needed was Cooter.

THIS JUST IN(?)...

Mike Pettine (coach) and Ray Farmer (owner) have both been fired by the Cleveland Browns. I wonder who'll fill those vacancies for the Browns.

As of this post, we still got the Minnesota Vikings at the Green Bay Packers later tonight. NFC North on the line in this one.

Tomsula has been fired by the 49ers.

You could've seen this coming from a mile away.

As a Seahawks fan, I was worried about having to face the Cardinals, but after the win tonight, I'm confident that we can go the distance in the playoffs. The Bears on the other hand, another lose to the Lions, to close out the season.

Tomsula getting fired was by far one of the most obvious firings of the year. The team was terrible, and he wasn't a good fit as coach to begin with. Add to a GM with a massive ego that blatantly made a coach that took them to a Super Bowl appearance leave, and this one could be called from a mile away.

All I gotta say is...

SKOL VIKINGS :sly:

But now we face the Seahawks and the Seahawks are on fire right now so it will take a lot for the Vikings to pull off the Upset.

If the St. Louis Rams can beat the Seahawks twice, your Vikings can handle them :). Speaking of the Rams, I'll be glad when they move to Los Angeles next year so I can get some other game to watch besides that snooze fest. :)

I'm hoping that they can. A Vikings win means the Panthers will play either the Packers or Washington. I'd much prefer either of those two matchups, rather than them facing a red hot Seahawks team.

I hope that's the case for the Vikings! Last time we were in the playoffs was in 2009 with Brett Farve. Wait so which team is moving to los Angeles rams or chargers?

If the Vikings get past this first round that should really mix up the NFC

In a way I almost wanted the Vikings to lose to rather face Washington than Seattle.

It'll be a good game to watch

We've got Marshawn Lynch back, so the task will be that little bit harder for the Vikings. The Seahawks just can't have a repeat of the game against the Rams and not give away so many penalties. Should be a great game though.

32 teams had playoff aspirations. Of those 32, only 12 now have a chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy and win themselves a Super Bowl. Here are the games for Wild Card weekend:

* (Jan. 9) Kansas City Chiefs at Houston Texans
* (Jan. 9) Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals
* (Jan. 10) Seattle Seahawks at Minnesota Vikings
* (Jan. 10) Green Bay Packers at Washington Redskins

Win or go home. It's that simple. Good luck to all who advanced to the postseason.

Tom Coughlin has resigned as NY Giants Head Coach after 12 years at the helm.

He has been coaching the Giants almost as long as I've been following the NFL. It's going to be real weird seeing someone else on the sidelines during Giants games.

Kroenke betrays St. Louis in bid to move Rams

http://usat.ly/1OOmpWV

The 🤬 has officially hit the fan in St Louis. I can't blame the fans, the Rams haven't had a winning season since 2003. I don't know how they can stay after this. If they put that product on the field in Los Angeles, sure they will have packed stadiums for awhile, but not for long. That's the reason they moved out of Los Angeles in the first place because no one was showing up. They can say what they want about the fans of St. Louis, but even the almighty baseball cardinal fans don't show when the teams are bad. They didn't in the 1990's(before Mr Steroid came to town) or the 1970's.

Megatron is reportedly considering retirement. That's a big deal to a lot of Lions fans because Calvin Johnson was a bright spot amongst the seasons of mediocrity that the team has faced. I really hope he'll stay, but if he chooses to put up the cleats for good, he'll deserve retirement. He's definitely going to the Hall of Fame at some point,.

Word has it that Sean Payton will remain coach of the New Orleans Saints. So despite the season they've had, Payton's staying in "Nawlins."
