Nah, the Pats will get their teefuses knocked in by one of these three teams.

More ESPN nonsense... I know Tim Tebow was rated as the "Athlete of the Year" or something, but he's been knocked out of the playoffs since getting owned at New England on Saturday. Meanwhile, my Texans played a hell of a close game and get next to no media attention on our first ever playoff appearance. Typical ESPN. I bet we'll see a Sportscenter Special on "What If Denver Upset New England?", and it would probably be available in every language ranging from English to Latin to Urdu. Maybe they'll do a special MegaMix of "All Tebow Does is Win" in multiple languages and stuff.

ESPN brown-nosing. Got to love it.

Don't worry about it, John. ESPN has a few websites: Dallas, Chicago, Boston, NY, and LA. Those are their primary markets. The Dolphins always get pooed on. Know why? Because we compete against their biggest markets. And the Swami is a BILLS fan on top of that.

But the problem is that Houston has no marketable players (or had none) that were really something special this year. ESPN loves to run with the hot hand (see Jets of 2009 and 2010, Packers of 2010, Giants of 2007, etc). This is how sports media works.

Oh and for the record, I barely hear a lot about Tebow but that's because I listen to my local sports radio station which does talk too much about the Giants for me.

So... it's Ravens/Patriots and 49ers/Giants. The sexy matchup people would want to see would be Ravens vs. 49ers just to see two brother coaches battle. Call me crazy and contradictory... but Ravens vs. 49ers would be an excellent Super Bowl. That would be my Super Bowl pick at this point. It may even happen. Then again, I've been poor with picking games recently that I can't make a solid pick I can actually be proud of making. Last big pick I made in ANY sport was BYU upsetting Oklahoma (which is still a popular YouTube video of mine).

Something tells me we're getting "HarBowl" in Indy. However, my confidence is incredibly low.

Out of the 4 possible matchups, the one with the most "unknown" intrigue is New England-San Francisco. Both Giant matchups will be a rematch from the prior two Super Bowls the Giants made.

SOOOOOOOOO happy my Giants beat the Packers in Green Bay!! Even with the 2nd attempt at ref bias, big blue pulled through. And anyone want to say that refs weren't biased, show me where late hit was called when Eli got hit but Rodgers getting hit less, much closer to releasing the ball and Giants get penalized. And don't get me started on the fumble that was ruled down :ouch:
BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!

Onward to take out the 9ers now!!

It's always been that way. Something about them refs got some major hate on New York.

Well, I'm backing the Packers to win the super bowl.

Well that's going to be one helluva feat for the Packers to pull off. Jesus did rise from the dead so I guess anything is possible. I wonder what the odds are going to be for that in Vegas.

1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 to 1

Jim Caldwell is done as Colts coach, Andrew Luck got himself an agent, and it seems like the Colts are likely to draft Luck as their QB. These are all according to things I read on ESPN's Bottom Line. Bright future for the Colts... or more work to do?

Correction: I am rooting for them to win.

Am I missing a joke here?

Nope. I really am.

The Giants players are really cocky. Their going to be a one dimensional team against SF.

You don't see Justin Smith running his mouth :P

If by one dimension you mean winning then yeah their going to be one dimensional. Giants players aren't cocky their confident and getting tired of being wrote off in every game they've played so far.

Why would Smith run his mouth when they're the favorites? Believe it, they're not running their mouths because they don't want to put anything on the bulletin board to get the Giants hyped up.

If I were the 49ers and I wanted to win I'd put the Giants up in the best hotel on the 49er's dime. Shake their hands and welcome then to dinner when they get off the plane and just smile all the way to kickoff. You don't want to give them any added incentive. I'd also let them had the lead all the way till 2 minutes left in the game. And if you take that lead leave like 3 seconds on the clock. That still might be 2 seconds to long for Eli. lol

One dimensional as in they aren't going to be able to run the ball so its all going to be on Eli. The whole "thank god we don't have to face the Saints, the 49ers are an easy opponent because were are different team" thing isn't a bit cocky? They got beat by the 49ers after coming off their best win of the regular season. They got real lucky against the Packers. Yet they are still running their mouth. Shut up and play. All they are doing is making the 49ers D even more hungry.

You don't run your mouth as underdogs, especially coming off a lucky win. Imagine what would of happen if the Packers caught half of those dropped passes.

The same thing that would have happened if the refs didn't blow half those calls. A Giant win.

Anybody would rather face the 49ers than the Saints. Until the 49er's start lighting people up for 50 a game you're always going to rather face the other team. You don't think the 49er's rather face us than the Packers.

49ers don't need to light people up for 50 a game. But what they have proved is that they can win in a shootout in the final quarter.

Tell me a team that has close to the D the niners have and can put up what the Saints can. But what they did show is that you can't expect to run, on us.

Eli Manning isn't the same QB Brees is.

Prosthetic

I wouldn't call the Giants win in Lambeau lucky, that's a very good team playing a great game. It wouldn't have been as close as it was if the refs weren't on the Packer's side, giving them every call. But I would call the Niners win over the Saints lucky, forced five turnovers and they win by only four on a last second touchdown. They might not have even gotten that final touchdown if Gregg Williams wouldn't have continually blitzed and leave a tight end who runs a 4.3 forty man on man with a safety who might run a 4.5 forty.
