Actually, I haven't really started tuning yet, my times so far are purely based on the selected upgrades. I have been trying several different configurations (e.g. handling upgrades vs power upgrades) for the given cars to see what the effects are on laptimes. Out of those I picked the one that gave me the best laptimes. Now that I have those sorted out, it's time to start tuning.Looks like the tuning battle is on guys few seconds in it, sure that will come down as the week goes on.
Can I join?
I'll try it again tomorrow.Car is at least in 4.00 PPs.Only 'factory' upgrade is vinyl 4,but that dont make it any faster?Maby I looked at wrong laptime,I put many on my paper.
The time suggests a rating around the 6.0 mark. And with several cars to test for multiple laps and several laptimes to put down, a mistake is easily made. Made one myself too yesterday, but managed to correct it before anyone noticed.Cheers, I'm not sugesting anything sinister it just seemed superhumanly fast for that PP rating.👍
Quick one on tuning for the race, ride hight! if you lower and stiffen the car be aware that you can go too far very easily, the result is a car that will ground and then bounce on some of the bigger bumps! trial and error realy but going just a little too far will have BIG effects! if you'r cars bounceing first off raise the ride hight, it should sort it out. The trick though is to know where the bumps are and avoid them unsettleing your car. my BMW is a trade off, theres two places on the track where it will bounce but I know where they are and can adapt my line acordingly, If however I take the car on another track which is quite bumpy......bounce city! the tuning is very tied in to the car physics!
Can you check that time is right for the Ford Focus RUFin, it's nearly 10 seconds quicker than the next guy to you in the leaderboard.![]()

Some of the Tier 4 (or 3, I forgot) race/timeattack championships pay 80k per race and another 80k for first place overall. With two races in a championship, that's 240k in around 12-15 minutes. So you should be able to get another 2 million in an hour or two. I think that will be more than enough to buy and upgrade the cars needed for the series. So I need to get some cars in the stable for this event.
So far, I have done no tuning, just the picked the right performance upgrades (for my driving style anywayhey blitz and dutch- would you please consider posting one or two of your tunes?
Drowe it 5 laps again just now.Best was 2.52.427.It just is that fast.I took away all upgrades, stock was 3.20,put them back again and its 4.00.No clitch I quess, looks 'leagal'.All wheels on track, all cones up.
It must be FF in FF/FastFinn in FastFord.
Can I change that Silvia to something faster,no point of racing with that.I cant tune it higher.
there seems to be an odity with ... the GT3 RS
hey blitz and dutch- would you please consider posting one or two of your tunes? dummies like me would really appreciate it. even if you dont want to bother with opening up a shop, it is really helpful to at least have some idea of how its done, so i can know if i have done something completely retarded in my own efforts.
i realize completely retarded for one car can be just the right thing for another, but in general your examples have been really helpful for me with gt5p.![]()
yeah brock is a little strange, but as you can see he more than makes up for it on the track 👍
