Actually I was referring to oversteer under brakes and especially lift-off oversteer. Controlling the throttle was the easy part. Amazing 6.0 lap. I decided I'd rather be in cars I like than go for the fastest ones. I shoulda tried the Cobalt at 6.0 but it's another car that just wants to drift all day, and that makes the brakes want to lock up at less than 1/4 pressure.

Honestly, Im a bit lazy to open up shop... even though Im not active in GT5 right now and tuning in this game gets irritating, with all the menus you have to go through.. I will, however, just post the tunes I will be using for this event in here I will submit some times tonight as well... but Im slow as hell in this game.. I was slow in GT5, but this is awful... Time to hot lap

Had some fun races tonight with Hereward and mr_V. Zabeu showed up for a few seconds as well. The headset wasn't working too well tonight, all I heard was crackling. What happened in the last race, Hereward? I heard you talking on the mic, but couldn't make out what you were saying...

I just ran the car stock, I think the only reason this car does so well is because the rear just has so much grip when cornering.

I may redo my time in the 111R just for verification.

EDIT: Can we still submit our times even though the deadline is today?

Deadline is tommorow. I'll get them all sorted out then anounce the next weeks series specs. Great to see so many really pushing it in regards times. Some really quick times on this first race!

Hi was really strugleing tonight with the 10.0 tier 3 elise, First up I had a slipping clutch, so niped off, upgraded it, tested it, all was good. I then came back online and the gearing had suddenly gone astray so I was redlining at 127mph in 6th. So niped out again fixed the gearing, jumped back in......clutch sliping again LOL, I then left again (see a reocuring patern yet?) checked the whole car out, tested it then jumped into a race with woodieon, car was great, won the first race by a good margain. then the second race I got someone who decided to beat me he needed to knock me off at every opertunity so I left........Right anyway I was happy with my 6.0 car but didn't really get to see how the 10.0 held up against that beast of a dutch customs muscle car....I saw how quick it was......as I was left feathering the throtle trying to get the clutch to stop slipping in EVERY gear once the turbo hit full boost!

the gears bit is I think a result of me switching over to quick tune and then out again....I think or it's somthing peculiar to that one car although the same thing was happening to the gears with that GT 2000 I took out at one stage. But the clutch slip I think was due to me not upgrading the drivtrain (80+ points on clutch) when I did it stoped. I have the same issue with nitrous on the cosworth though and allways have, but only in 4th and 5th. Clutch simply can't handle the extra tourqe and If I upgrade the drivetrain it will be at a sacrifice to something else due to the 6.0 points limit. So I adapt my driving to compensate, the Lotus however slips the clutch in every gear as soon as the boost on the turbo hits max.

Yeah, if you don't like the upgrade you've purchased, you can just sell it back for the purchase amount and try a different upgrade. I've done this several times trying to figure out how the different upgrades affect the cars and--in particular--how Timeattack did a 2'28.4xxx in a 9.98 GT3RS at Spa

Yeah, just go back to the upgrades screen and highlight one of the upgrades you've already purchased and press the X button. It will ask you if you want to sell the upgrade or not. Then you can swap it out for a different upgrade and test it out if you want.

The Elise 111R feels alot different to most RWD cars in Shift and the cornering as you said is perfect.
