Wow guys.
Mo and Shark I don't want you guys to leave, You guys are the cleanest racers I've ever met pretty much.
We have all had a conflict with Seth at some point or another and to be honest I thought Seth would of settled In/down by now.
All you had to do seth was record a race even If It was on your phone. Just so we could see It.
I know the game has floors man but come on how many incidents has there been?
It won't be worth racing If Mo and Shark leave so I'll close the league totally If this Is the decision you finally choose.

I just said: I leave because I don't want to tell anybody what to do, it looked the fairest way if I quite.

Of course I really don't want to quit this league and stop racing you guys, as you said Jay, it is great to race with clean drivers for me too like you Add, Lefty, Mitz, Octane and Shark and sorry for the other who I didn't mention. And I really want to race with u guys in other games too in the future.

But this situation can't work for more for me.
We need to change something if you don't want us to quit..
(How interesting, yesterday we had no lag problems or something like this..)
I'm open for any solutions, and sorry for my posts, I didn't want to hurt anybody, even you fresh. our problem is not personal!

I've got a newborn baby, so all the money goes towards him. I'm unemployed so I don't really even have money, or else I would have grabbed a cam by now. The cell phone I have isn't even on, even if it was it's not got video. My g/f's phone has pictures but no video. I'll just let you guys be as it's the best option. No more racing with fresh! lol, I seriously don't have an issue with anyone, I just think Shift does some stupid **** online. I can't explain why. I have gotten a brand new Internet Provider, cable internet, so the speeds should be as fast as you can get bar satellite. I even have it wired from the cable box directly into the PS3, no Router or anything. I guess Shift just f's up for some reason on my end. Maybe it's a location issue. Whatever be the reason, your videos look so much different from what I see. Perhaps because I use bumper view? Maybe if I switched to bonnet view it'd be different? I donno. I'm just goin to let this die, I don't have any problems with you guys. I just deleted ya off my friends list on PSN so I don't sit there and get tempted to ask to join a race and cause issues for everyone else. Have fun like I said. Perhaps when F1 2010 comes out or GT5 the issues with their servers won't be like NFS Shift's for me.

Perhaps It's worth trying the nat type thing and just have a mess about to try that?
If I enable upnp or whatever It Is I get nat type 2 If I disable It I get nat type 3, Maybe worth a try If we're all on the same who knows.

WOW I hope there is still a league left by time I get off my Go-Kart extravaganza in a couple of weeks……. lol.

I know it will be a different place around here in a couple of months but let’s slide into the other programs from this league and maybe there will be some kind of combo competition later. Something like Shift or Shift2, F1 2010, GT5, SCC, pulling the best from each game and see who the best multi platform champion is, wouldn’t that be cool. Next year is going to be the greatest Sim year ever.

That's your problem. Satellite internet. Think of the transit times to and from your dish, 35,000km there and then another 35,000km back.

Even at the speed of light (about 300,000 km/second or 186,000 miles per second), this delay can be significant. If all other signaling delays could be eliminated it still takes a radio signal about 250 milliseconds, or about a quarter of a second, to travel to the satellite and back to the ground. For an internet packet, that delay is doubled before a reply is received. That is the theoretical minimum. Factoring in other normal delays from network sources gives a typical one-way connection latency of 500–700 ms from the user to the ISP, or about 1,000–1,400 milliseconds latency for the total Round Trip Time (RTT) back to the user. This is far worse than most dial-up modem users' experience, at typically only 150–200 ms total latency.

Yes guys, I'm still lurking... see you on the track more than likely in the winter. I guess that'll be with GT5, huh?

Yo,Femki!👍:)
I also lurk 'round here, from time to time ,to see what these nice guys are up to...:dopey:
If by winter You mean after November the 2nd(3rd:dopey: in EU) sure it will be in GT5(at last):sly:
Maybe we can hook before that in a Dirt 2 trailblazer...:)

No, I DON'T HAVE satellite internet. I have cable. I was saying that this is the fastest (i can get) without having satellite internet, which has upload download speeds much faster than what I currently have. I know a few older guys who have the means to have satellite internet and it's instant. Even makes cable look slow.

I'm loving DiRT2!! Sure, let's hook up and do some races! I guess we should organize this over PM since this isn't related to SHIFT.

BTW, I just got back from seeing some dirt racing here - http://www.barkriveroffroad.com/, which incidentally is in DiRT! Too bad they dropped the track.

Yes, by winter I mean after Nov 2, however I'll be back on SHIFT before that. I haven't dropped the game, I've just been enjoying summer since it's so short here (Canada).

Sorry, after re-reading your post it seems I misread it to say that you had moved from cable to satellite.

I'm not sure what these NAT types are, but all I can say is that it worked just fine until I got D/C last weekend. I was just in a rush to get back to racing with you guys I don't think the internet fully 'came back'. Anyway, I bought a brand new internet connection just to race with you guys. I pay 30 bucks a month just to race. Now I see that because of location issues(?) or a d/c I get the short end of the stick. It's not like I purposefully drive into you guys. I just feel if you were on my side you'd experience the same stuff. Maybe If I hosted the races it'd be different, I can't say. I just know that I paid to get a new connection and it's much better than what I had, it's the best I can get besides going to satellite. That's much too expensive so cable is what I'm going with. I'd like for everyone to race and there shouldn't be any issues bar Shi(f)t throwing us a bone. If you don't feel I can race cleanly with you guys that's fine I'll not race. But from the time that I have had my new connection, only last weekend was a problem. I've only had it for 3 weeks now. So the last past two weekends have been with a new connection. I haven't had a problem with any of you in that time except last weekend after I got disconnected.

It's whatever though, it's not up to me but you guys! I just feel kinda cheated that I spent money to race with you guys but then get the **** end of things cus of some stupid shift lag. This game isn't even fun when it causes people to argue amongst eachother about what did or didn't happen.

This post is directed at no one but my .02 on having a great league race is really understanding lag on shift. I know if I'm racing on SPA trying to pass someone on the last turn or that downhill right hander their going to go off the track like I just T-boned them even if I'm a car length away so I refrain from passing on those corners unless they make a big mistake.

I have Comcast cable and really learned to have patience from this great league. If your faster than someone on a particular track they will eventually make a mistake big enough to make a clean pass. That statement applies to most people except Arvore. That SOB never makes mistakes!

Because he is a machine:D

Glad to hear from You Ricky.👍
Great fun we had in these nice League Races that, once Manny, now Jay so gently bother in organize.:)

Nah guys thanks for the compliments, but I consider myself a very average racer:embarrassed::guilty:
I think it all comes down to practice...really know a track and push a car to it's limits in that specific track.
Since I've stopped playing shift and focused exclusively on SCC I feel that my performance in that game has improved(despite I still have my butt unmercifully kicked by those aliens:indiff::ouch::lol: )on the other end if I would go and pick up shift I would be miles away from the pace I used to have,I guess that's life. One can't whistle and sing at the same time, can we?!

BTW it would be nice to have a great get together with former League members for a Season Finale before these nice guys put an end to this,I would be available for a goodbye party in shift in tribute to all the good times we've spent playing this game,Femky would probably go along and I would try to convince Kemp, maybe Jay could invite DGiant and Hog and You could come along and bring Nitrovious and Mr.B with You,what do You guys say?👍💡:D

l might be able to play a farewell to Shift race with you guys , l'm sure to get whipped as l haven't played Shift in months.
Soon to be playing F1 2010 all the time , so l guess now or never huh.
l will keep an eye out , to see what is decided. :)

Thanks guys, I'm not saying it will be the most clean race there is, but I'm hoping it will be cleaner than what has been. I'm sure it's just EA's servers f'ing up, cus I go the best connection I can get bar spending 100bucks a month. I hope things turn out, I'll do my best to race cleanly and stay clear and give room. I usually do. I donno guys. I'm just gonna do my best to stay clean, have a good race. See you all tomorrow.

Mr President,

Allow me to ask you to update your 1st post, at least because of the former league member to let them know when we'll have our last races.

I'll try to be online tonight, but I'm not promising, so if i won't be there at time, don't wait for me, go on.

I think this league is officially ended for me.
It was the 3rd week where we had only 3 drivers.

I would have raced but I wasn't sure if I was welcome. So you could have had 4. If I'm welcome I'll see if I can keep up with you tomorrow with the Porsche races.

Well fellow SHIFTERz I’m back finally and guess what Little and I found at the track?
