Am I right that the racing start 9.30pm tonight?


I did some racing in public lobby yesterday, time attack on ebiusu west. I won with average 3-8 sec each race with same guy on 2.place each round. I usally parked my car when I was happy with my lap and knew I was going to win. Apparently this guy in 2.place thought I was cheating, got a message from him; "You suck!!!! You just stand in one place!" LOL

Yeah you probably didn't ... an average car tier 2 or 3 without upgrades does 7:xx m laps in the ring so 3 laps will probably implie a 22,23 m race i think thats enought,no? plenty of time to recover from any set back...and there is also a question of proportion with duration of other races-10 laps, no?-that usually go around for 15,20 minutes so i think 3 laps would be good,increasing the duration of the races will only agravate lag and connection issues...
We have to deal with limitations the game imposes...if we push it to it's limits in a lobby with many people from allover the world it's certain that there will be problems with people getting drop and frustrated...with so many newcomers,so it seems,and a full lobby keep it simple please...
About Brands Hatch GP it's a classic i love this track with all those offcamber corners, no mistakes allowed:crazy:
Don't remember that well Glendale...but i'm sure it's fun have to do some training there...managing to attend 3 weekly competitions in 3 different games is killing me...:sly:

This makes a lot of sense to me.
The idea from the beginning was to have about an hour and fifteen minutes total of League racing. That way, everyone could join in even though it may not be the most convenient time of day to race. I would like to try to keep the league races to this schedule.

However like some of us did last week, for those who have time, you can always arrange to have pick-up racing after the League races are over. So, at that point guys can lap the Ring as many times as they want. So, I think we should limit the First League Race to three laps which will take a little over twenty minutes. I hope this seems a reasonable decision to everyone.
 
Well i am in for mannys idea 3 laps would be the best for all round.
And if any one is still in the mood like mannys says we can meet up after the league race and hit the nurburg again in any car we like.
 
A race tonight? It's a manufacters race correct? This is to pick the cars? I'm on the east coast, so what time?

Oh 🤬! I did it again didn't I?

The races tonight will be at 4:30 pm US East Coast Time

That would make it 9:30 pm for the UK

For mr_V in Norway and darkos it start's at 10:30

And finally, for MrB52 it starts at 8:30 am Wednesday

One of these days I'll get the hang of this....:ouch:

It takes time getting used to pro mode but after awhile you will see your lap times falling, i find using a 4wd car helps but it is still tricky, sorry Manny, HOG but i bailed last night the punters were doing my head in :grumpy:

I dont blame you mate i bailed as well but not before taking out that RED BMW GUY:sly: but this time he was in a lambo haha he really didn't see me coming he was doing so well too rite up to the point i rear ended him at 175mph:crazy: and obliterated him into the side wall a ton of cars got past him too then i just quit the game with a smile on my face knowing i got the CHEATING GIT BACK :lol::lol: REVENGE IS SWEET:)

At first i just thought he was having trouble controlling the BMW but after he rammed me i knew he knew what he was doing then i seen him trying to shove manny into the side wall.

I checked my PS3 internet connection speed an hour ago and it was excellent. 36 Mb/s Download, 8 Mb/s Upload, Ping 25ms.

Because of the many people I plan to invite today, it's possible that I won't get all the invitations out quickly enough before the lobby 2:00 min countdown runs out. If that is the case, the guys in the lobby will just run a quick warm-up lap. So the people who don't get an invitation on time, just sit tight for a few minutes.

Again the plan is to check various manufacturer cars with a full lobby to find out what kind of performance we can get from the game with regard to slowdowns and dropped connections.
I plan on running:
The Maserati MC12 GT1 at Silverstone (that's in the Loaner Cars tab)
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage at Spa.
The Corvette Z06 at Road America.

These will all be four lap races. No points awarded.

If we have slowdowns and connection issues, in the first couple of races for race 3 I will pick a Tier 1, low powered car like the Ford Escort Cosworth and see if things get better.

Stupid thing wouldn't play for me! Every time I accepted the invite it says download data corrupt or something, and its not to do with my connection as I was racing online quite a bit today.

Was looking forward to it as well. Ah well, thats NFS for ya'.
 
I cant connect to host, never had this problem. Say I dont have downloadable content?? I hate EA...

EDIT; Maybe another host?
