Thanks man.I would like to leave a suggestion for future events,if you don't mind:

Despite of being greatly aprecciated of Terronium's tunes i think(for the future that is) one of the races in the event could be made with a stock car-no upgrades nor setups-because probably it will be more competitive for all drivers and make this race more even and close pack.Well thats only a tought...fell free to disregard it if it doesn't suit the majority of the competitors.
Thanks anyway for putting this up and allowing me in...👍

Yes, the third race in the series each week is going to be that kind of race.

You may not have gone back and read the discussion that lead up to it, but the plan was to have us all take turns hosting each week. The host for the week sets where the race is to be run and the car/tune to be used. That way everybody gets to run their favorite every now and then.

Also there are three types of races each weekend:

Race One: A specific car using an unaltered Terronium-12 or agreed on private tune.

Race Two: A specified maximum car rating, where drivers can use any car and any tune they want within the rating.

Race Three: Using a Reward Car, Manufacturers Car or even a classic Muscle Car with a T-12 tune.

The first and third races could be everyone driving a stock Miata, or an Aston Martin Racing DBR. What ever the host for that weekend wants.:)

1. count me in dude 👍
2. my favorite :sly:
3. Yeah i notice that yesterday ;)

As for the rest of worm up meeting and the cars let it would be max rating 14.00, you could set up for more laps at Nordschleife. Because it would be in private room so let say at least 5 laps to 10 maximum. So in this way the players would stretch during laps. There is a plenty room for overtaking in this track, as in real life even the attempts to beat lap times are taken with the grid of other drivers.

And last thing, the night 9 o clock of what time zone ? Just calculate on forums time

Yea i have got used to the Audi r8 and curb hopping but doing that in the Zonda with a heavy foot only ever ends up one way the GRAVEL WAY lol.

And also sorry for the nudge seen you go wide and thought i could get through on the inside well till i got caught on the curbs and lost it lol.

And great sounds good and i was going by 9 o'clock UK time.

And Manny its ok mate, but do try as i think you will enjoy the team race with some clean drivers.

Any body else up for it ???

Yeah, I'll try to check it out. But I'll admit right here that the Nordschliefe isn't my best track. :nervous: On the bright side, being in last place at least I won't have to see Darko's "Shark Teeth" in my mirror!:)

Well i am getting the corvette round road America comfortably now but can i hell get used to the F1 but i working on that i just have to be little less throttle and i should stop trying to kill me lol.

Please PM me or post below if you know that you will not be able to make the race tomorrow.

I’ll send out game invitations starting at 5:00 pm my time.

I changed my internet connection from Wireless to Hard Wired just today and according to http://www.speedtest.net/ my PS3's online data transfer is about 5x faster than wireless was. (Download speed: 23.5 Mbps, Upload speed 8.02 Mbps, Ping 10 – 30 ms) Hopefully this will be quick enough for lag-free racing.

As each race finishes I’ll try to note who finished in the top 3 and I’ll post it following the series.

A final, probably unnecessary word… this league is really all about clean, but competitive racing. We all would like to win, but particularly until we get a feel for each other’s driving style let’s err on the side of caution and try as best we can to avoid paint swapping. I understand accidents are bound to happen, but keep in mind the longer races will allow even those at the back of the starting grid to get to the front by the end if they’re the quickest in the field.

I look forward to seeing you at the track. :)

Sorry to have to get you out of bed so early. :ouch: Maybe for the 2nd Race weekend we could push things back an hour if the guys in the UK don't mind starting at 11 pm. (I know HOG won't mind, he's a night-owl) :)

This is shaping up to be fantastic! I would suggest creating a chat room thing on the friends list as it has proved useful when myself and aa few others have been racing as you can apoligise and compliment others if needed, easily. :)

Seems this has taken off faster and much better than my idea. 👍

I noticed that about you! So explain to me how in the heck you manage to type drive at the same time! I'm slow as death at typing in that chat room, like I'm senile or something. Answering questions from five minutes ago!

Well the RT Time Trials are the really the only way to include everyone. It's a shame they couldn't somehow tie the three platforms together for online play.:(

I'm as slow as at text chat, I have a Mic, so I'll use it to apologise to everyone for my driving and compliment them for over taking me and leaving me for dead with it. :)

Terronium-12

Terronium, your Time Trials are really the only way the 3 platforms can compete together in this game and the two competitions are great for everyone here in this forum.
Can't wait to see what NITROVIOUS has for us in round 4. :nervous:

hey! you forgot to include me. i did write earlier that I'm taking a part in this competition

I just drove Seattle WA to Santa Rosa CA (800+ miles) in 13 hours to make this race, see you at 2:00 PST

That's fine by me mate, i am a bit of a vampire awake and racing by night, fast asleep by day :lol:

Yeah later time would be aright for me next round.
I type so quickly becasue I use my keyboard :P (cheating?)
Use if microphones would be great. I was just thinking about the chat for those of us without to chat after the race. :)
P.S. I need a mike

I've notice that the best times are done during a daytime, not in late night.

i just hope that there will be at least one space for me to fill in for someone, still count for that to happen. but with 12 players would be difficult not to have a graphics issues.

For the third race, are we leaving the cars stock but we can adjust the setup?

This is a little embarrassing but after 1400 online races I tried the pro handling mode for the first time tonight, it's going to take me at least a couple of weeks to get use it. Even though those three tracks are my favorites I would be an endangerment to the race if I raced in pro handling mode. So with much regret I respectfully withdraw from the race :banghead:

Sad news for you could means great one for me :)

And yes, there is a significant difference between have handicap like ABS and Traction Control or Stability Control and turn it completely OFF it's a drivers nightmare find it self suddenly on a track that you are familiar with it but this time without help in places that requires being careful with throttle. But think it as an opportunity for the game to born again :]

For race three you can upgrade any of the classic musclecars to thier max value. For instance I'm using the Stingray with all upgrades and Terronium's Stingray tune adjusted just a bit for this particular track.

For future meets the third race will be the one that can feature Manufacturer car races, or Reward cars (like the LMS R8), or the classic cars. I decided to allow the classic cars to be upgraded for this race. Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear about that.:ouch:

Don't sweat it. We'll keep you on the roster until you've gotten used to the Pro mode. If you've raced that much, I doubt it'll take you too long to get good on Pro. And look at the bright side, you'll be eligible for Rookie of the Year now!

I nearly forgot the most important ingredient for tonight, so i went to the off licence and bought plenty

I'm never liked American classic cars so mine will be stock, just pick one from bonus cars 💡

Manny, it may take a few turns to get everyone into lobby at same time. i suggest to make 1 lap practice first race in case someone is late, that way they can be re-invited when lobby reforms :)

I was thinking about something along those lines myself. The other (less fun) idea would be to set the Minimum number of racers to something like 12, which (I believe), would delay the start of the race until everybody arrives. Do you think that would work?
