PC. Though I am not going to order until I know that the game is optimized.

Well looks like the gold version issued clearly had lots of things the guys back at HG were aware of and had plans to patch.

This partially explains thier reluctance to send review copies and why they hated on early streams etc.

That's BS. It was Sony that was actually flagging the videos, and on top of that, not sending review copies in general (as well as having a post-release review embargo) just speaks of the lack of confidence in your product. Sega for a long time refused to send review copies of their Sonic titles because they knew that they made garbage.

@Sanji Himura I wouldn't say it's a lack of confidence, if that was the case Sony wouldn't have been pushing the game themselves at conventions and on prime time TV shows etc.

I think the issue is HG and Shaun have always been reluctant in showing what the game has to offer in full as he wants the player to experience this in thier own way and at thier own speed, this is also again reflected in the comments of the latest patch release.

I do think Sony has been too harsh in thier ban hammer approach to stopping streams. Let's face it those who want to watch it will and others who want to steer clear will avoid them like a venereal disease.

Still hoping I could maybe get a LE one but anything can happen I guess.

Edit: So far no extra copies of the LE one, although there is a slight chance that they could get more tomorrow when they open at 10. So it's going to be a tough go around but oh well.

I'll pick this up at £20, the time where I enjoyed aimless exploration in gaming is sadly dwindling due to an abundance of these type of games.

It does look pretty good though.

I still think it unlocks on the 10th, If I recall correctly the digital US version was able to preload on Sunday and it unlocks at Midnight tonight ET.

Well I could of did a midnight launch of the game, (However I am too lazy to do that and kinda pointless) Since I would go from home to gamestop, then back home then back to the other town for all my other things. So instead I will wait until tomorrow and maybe might get a few extra LE of the game however not holding out on it.

Found this out earlier. If you melee, you do a small lunge. If you melee and then use the jetpack at the same time, you'll get a nice boost in speed that is much faster that sprinting.

I can't 100% say yet but I think if you sprint, melee and then jetpack, you'll go ever further.

Gif above is just one example of it - I've managed to go a lot further that I haven't capped yet.

No. Unless midnight tonight counts. It doesn't so tomorrow.
I hate anybody who is already playing it.
Still at least it is 1.03 so there shouldn't be a massive day one patch.

So how is it guys? IGN in progress review wasn't too glowing of the initial day's play. What is your experience? Think I'm going to wait for the PC version anyway but would love to get your thoughts.
