No SRF Friends Group (link to list in OP)

I would have been better off if I started out with a two pedal/no clutch wheel like DFP.
I still can't left foot brake for 🤬. All my driving is still done by right-foot braking.

I've tried to make myself learn, but its hard to teach and old dog new tricks. :banghead:

It's been my trusty companion since GT4. It won't die! Regularly replaced 3/8" polyethylene tampons help with the braking feel. I'm sure it'll be replaced by the time GT7 rolls out and I finally pick up a PS4.

I am thinking about creating a thread for wheel users that do Seasonal events...
...with clutch/manual trans when IRL car has one. Tunes ok/No SRF/No aids, ABS optional.

If you are interested please "like" so I can gauge interest, suggestions most welcome.

I would run some clutch/manual trans laps if your idea is to have a thread like the stock seasonal thread.

just post your times in the thread etc.

Is this what you had in mind? You might get more people giving it a go if you set it up like that 👍

Yes, that's exactly what I have in mind.
I have a screen capture for PS3, so I can post replays of RPLs too if requested.
I'll probably try to create the thread next couple of days, once done with time zone table.

I wouldn't worry about it, I have a DFGT and still right foot brake. I'll bring my left foot in for little taps to get the nose in line etc. but for all the proper braking zones I right foot it. It just feels a lot more natural to me and I seem to do ok with it, so why change? :)

Thread needs another bump, and I have some replies...

@SW__10 , @LJ12 , and all others interested,
Haven't been able to do it yet because of some unexpected excitement for last week here...
I'll spare you the details, but it involved plumbers, cutting holes in walls, replacing pipes.
Will try to do it soon, new seasonal events have cars well suited for clutch.

Well, considering you are always the fastest 0 ABS on my FR LB by a big margin...
...not to mention always around the top of my FR LB in very fast company.
I don't feel so bad about it now, just have to re-calibrate my damn foot. :banghead:

No SRF again on Seasonals, thread should be renamed the No driving aids/ABS optional group?

I think maybe creation of this thread by @backnfourth and the list compiled by @ZuluWraith...
...were way more effective than complaint posts. 👍 👍

No problem, @JogoAsobi. I`ve been way too busy with the Senna events, that I completly forgot about this thread, and nearly forgot to log in on GTP... Anyways, I can`t wait for the thread, and i presume that it will be well worth the wait. Take your time, and let us know when you have the thread up and running! 👍

Sincerly, LJ12

So I apologize for my absence, gentlemen. As a couple of you know, I have been spending literally all of my free time on GT Academy...and it paid off. Ranked officially 22nd in US regionals.

To be quite honest, the only thing that has kept me playing GT6 is this group. I absolutely love competing against you guys, and the practice with no SRF is what ultimately made the difference. You better believe I'm going to represent all you great guys in New York!

Congrats with the result! Great job, and keep up the work. Also hope you are noe of the finalists, and also wish you the best of luck in competing in the GTacademy finals (If you make it, which I'm sure you'll do 👍) Keep fighting for the spot in the finals! And hopefully, you'll mention us guys here at :gtplanet:.

To the rest of you, I have to say, it's great to race against all of you in thid group! Have a great time, and you guys are also the people who made me play GT6 again. A BIG thanks to all of you! :gtpflag:

Better than my excuse. Good luck to you, sir! 👍

@LJ12 - Thank you very much, sir! I am looking forward to talking you guys up specifically! It will be impossible to not talk about GTPlanet, but this group means a hell of a lot to me, and I'll be talking about it every chance I get!

@JogoAsobi - Thank you very much! The kind words do mean a lot to me, I will strive to make you all proud!

@Sum1s2pid - Thank you sir! I will be back to chasing you guys all in the seasonal events this week!

Quite happy with my time on the TS030 TT:

Very nice mate!! 👍

I hope you are not finished yet, I think you can go faster than that!!

I'll be trying my best to hunt you down :D

I don't know the track very well, so the second half in the dark needs some work

Keep pushing to improve your time
Thanks for the kind words, @SW__10, really apreciate them . That was one of my first runs, so I will improve the time as much as I can, so don`t you worry ;).

Anyways, I will be looking forward to competing against you :mischievous:, and I`ll have a hell of fun doing so! 👍

I struggled in the dark though, and in my case, it`s not fun to see it turning dark when it`s sunny outside, and you have your TV next to a window :grumpy:. I slowed down A LOT, so there is propably a second or two to make up there. (Maybe I`ll try and improve the time in the evening 💡)

Anyways, good luck on the TT, mate! And hope you have some great leaderboard times, and of course, a lot of fun!.

Sincerly, LJ12!

@LJ12, great time with TS030!!! 👍
Is your rig equipped with night vision device too? :sly:

Gave it only a couple of laps last night.
Seems as if my wheel has developed a new personality thanks to 1.09. :indiff:

Hopefully I can get re-acclimated and get back up to speed soon. :irked:

As a matter of fact, I have night vision goggles! (Just joking with you.)

And thank you for the feedback, @JogoAsobi! Gladly appreciate it, and don't worry, because you'll propably catch up with me in no time ;).

And the physic change, made me a better driver to be honest! Polophony Digital FINALLY seems to have figured out the camber issue:bowdown:. It takes some time getting used to, but when you've learned about how the car handles, it is a big difference sine 1.08.

Anyways, hope you set some great leader board times, (maybe you'll beat my time, which should be easy after a few runs.) and of course, have a great time when doing so, buddy!. And as with @SW__10, I'll look forward to compete against you as well!

Sincerly, LJ12.

@LJ12 I see you've improved your time with the TS030!!

I'm over 3 seconds behind you now! :scared:

I'm going to have to really get moving to keep up.....and learn to see in the dark

Great lap mate!! 👍
Thanks once again, mate! Apprecite the feedback as always!.

I got around to play in the evening, and that's how I managed to cut off 2 seconds on the time. The last half is the most important part of the track, it seems. :nervous:

But I have to say, your time was also really good! 👍 You have some really good lines, and if you use your lines as much as you can, you'll be beating my time, easily! :D

Looking forward to compete against you, and good luck on setting a great lap, mate!

Sincerly, LJ12.

Can't wait to give the TS030 at La Sarthe a run. My favourite track. :D
The TS030 TT is addictive! Love LeMans, and when I heard that the TS030 was included in the recent update, I was incredibly happy! My favorite modern LMP1 car, and one of my all time favorite tracks, in my favorite game :D.

Anyways, enjoy the TT, and post some great times! 👍.

Sincerly, LJ12.
