No SRF Friends Group (link to list in OP)

I have always hated Tokyo 246, never liked it. But as you, I would love to have the Nurburgring, but then everyone would have complained about it beeing to difficult and so on. It will be interesting to drive a Huayra around Tokyo 246 though.

Yeah, it's interesting how some folks shy from the more intense challenges. There is, however, something about the Huayra that I love, so I imagine I'll enjoy it regardless. :)

Updated the Huayra OP with some comparison videos. :D
No doubt, most of the hard-core that congregate here have already seen them.

Doing Rt. 246 IRL would be preposterous, having actually driven there. :sly:
Anyway, please enjoy before screaming up Rt. 246 clad in italian carbon & metal. :)

I had completely forgotten that it was based on real streets! I may not enjoy racing there, but those comparisons changed my attitude about the course a bit. Thank you for sharing.

Rt 246 is quite a long stretch of road, it runs right through Kanagawa to Tokyo. I used to live about a kilometer away from that big state highway. I went to the place where this track layout is based on, it was night and was raining at the time, and you wouldn't recognise it if you'd go there. It's a bit like Monaco circuit I guess, while it's on normal street version you'd find it just doesn't look like as what you'd expect from TV. Not that I ever been to Monaco though, you can see it from Google map.

Those streets in GT's section of it are IRL some of the priciest and most exclusive parts of Tokyo.
Government buildings and Emperor's Palace, not to mention Aoyama-Ometesando areas.

Well at least the stuck on Seasonal loop SoW is MR with no SRF. :)
No tune necessary really, other than parts, I just did it with the clutch.

The Cappuccino event is fun, but I'm so slow coming off of the last corner that I'm playing catch up the rest of the lap. 1:31.306!

As for the Huarya... jeez. I'm not kissing the walls, but rather I've been making out with them with lots of tongue and saliva and inappropriate groping. 1:40.341!

:banghead: more times than I care to count with Huayra myself...
... but FXX TT's 1st chicane improved my 0 ABS braking on Rt. 246 T1 for sure. :)

Haha! This car is a beast! To be honest my blue line does not reflect the majority of my laps! Maybe 1 in 20 are clean.
I spend a lot of time spinning in a cloud of smoke or face first into a barrier. :ouch:

That said, I'm having a great time! I went straight to the dealership and got one. Check out the last colour option.

The quicker you straighten the wheel the quicker you can floor that throttle! :mischievous: .....and end up in a barrier!

The Huayra is GORGEOUS in bare Carbon Fiber! Great "color" choice, sir

Knocked almost 0.300 from the Huarya time, but still too cautious. 1:40.092!

Shaved off a second from the Cappuccino event, but still so slow off the last corner. 1:30.122!

Might not revisit the Megane event. 1:33.841!

About 0.015 behind you in Huayra, you are the fastest 0 ABS in my LB for Rt. 246! 👍

Down to 1:29.479 with parts only/non adjusted '95 Cappuccino & clutch/0 ABS... :D

...I might go back and see if I can catch you with clutch on TRM E., about 0.800 behind. :sly:

I improved my time a little with the Huayra today. It felt different to last time. It has been a few days so it could just be me.
Maybe something in update 1.07? It was only subtle and I can't fully explain what it was, but it didn't want to eat me alive, just maim me and save me for later lol!

Anyone else tried Huayra since the update?

I noticed that I forgot to turn off TC from 5 to 0 on the Huayra event. Difference in the end about 0,5 seconds. Feel a bit like I cheated somehow. So to do some penance I will compensate by doing some TT events with ABS=0.
Did some rounds with the VGT: I actually do think that breaking without ABS in this car does help in elbow corners like at the end of the long straight...

@SW__10 , gonna give it a spin in a few.
Haven't had much time for PS3 this week, other than bonus log-ins.

@PTQV , LOL, I think most of us have done that at one time or another.
Problem is that it resets every time you exit in Courtesy Car events. :irked:

Haven't even tried the BMW Vision yet, looking forward to it. :)
