Yes i have the same opinion like you. I hope i understand everythink right :/

But i think if you hack a car with 10000 hp it should get banned. But a car with hacked 500 hp is realistic. When you look in D1GP for example you can see many cars with 500 or more hp.

What you have yourself is what we call "A Wish List".

If you choose to fulfill that wish list yourself by means of non-allowable game exploits, hacking, or whatever means that are banned... Well, then apparently PD is threatening consequences.

I don't know why anyone thinks they should be able to convince everyone here on this forum that THEIR hacking should be allowed.
Doesn't work that way. You get what the game programmers allow for in the programme legitimately. And if hacking causes problems, the people who own & control the game servers take action.

I'd like a Toyota Celica 95 in the game... and I'd like an untuned Honda Z Act to be geared properly with a stock transmission.

NON realistic cars are in the game.
The x2010 & the x2011 are NOT realistic.
But they are part of the game.
I have ZERO interest in those. But they are part of the game, and others enjoy them. So whatever.

1) I wasn't referring to you.
2) the person I was answering - wants some people to be banned, but others not, depending on how "real world realistic" their hacks are. I see that argument bandied about a lot with this. And I don't understand it one bit.

Thus this:

You do realise there are alot also only doing it in private lobbies and offline so they dont affect others.

Im not condoning the task but you have a very generalized view towards people.

Okay this is the sort of argument I don't understand here.

The problem is that the people who use them privately are using the same exploit as the griefers & cheaters.
That's the issue.
You can't divorce the 2.
That's why people are upset & make comments like that.
Because they feel like people are saying, "I want my hacked cars so bad I don't care if everyone else's experience is ruined by griefers."
So upon feeling that's what people think - they react and say things as you quoted.

There are other online video games which have solved this issue by separating the servers... Accounts on servers that allow exploits, hacks, & cheats... and accounts on servers which are policed for hacks, and where people can expect to play the game without cheating or hacks used for griefing.

If that's what you want... well that's also what we call "A Wish List".

Its just a save file worse comes to worse I lose a file its not the end of the world to me.

I agree the act is the same hacking the files but if people arent griefing then they shouldnt be labelled as griefers.

Well that's why I hope the people who are messing around with this stuff for fun, have a back-up save file if they actually care about their legit game save.

I think people like Chrunch Houston are saying - they value their game save as part of their GT5 gaming experience, as it is.

I do too. Wouldn't be the end of the world for me, and I suspect not for Chrunch either. But I think a lot of us would rather keep our garage!

But what's interesting about this argument "it's just a game save if I lose it fine..."
That's NOT the arguments we're hearing from a lot of the pro-hacking crowd.
A lot of people are saying, "I want my hacked cars, and I want to use them onilne."
And they seem very very upset at the prospect they might be prevented from doing so.

Just so you know, I think people are just a little bit sensitive and jumping to conclusions a bit & taking things personally - things that are not even aimed at them personally, or at all.

Obviously a LOT of people have these hacked cars and never go out & use them to sneak cheat or grief or whatever.
What does not seem to be obvious to those people, is that when someone complains about cheaters & griefers... they're complaining about people using hacks to grief & cheat. Suzie is not thinking about Mary Jo & Bobby who are playing with their hacked up Fiat 500s in their private lounge, minding their own business. Suzie is thinking of Dennis The Menace who's online joining clean lobbies & bringing in their hacked car with 1000hp, grip multiiplier and altered body panels and then tearing up the joint.
Suzie comes here & complains about the hacks Dennis has access to, that allows him to be a Menace.
But for some reason Mary Jo & Bobby seem to think Suzie's complaining about them. And then go on to seem to be defending Dennis the Menace to Suzie, and then wondering why Suzie's upset with them... when Suzie doesn't have a problem with Mary Jo & Bobby. But is wondering why Mary Jo & Bobby think it's okay what Dennis is doing.
So you see how all involved, Suzie, Mary Jo, and Bobby... are all making a lot of assumptions.
Meanwhile Dennis is doing what he does.

Of course, there are probably a few people who will defend Dennis. But if you're not one of them - you probably shouldn't take what the Suzies say personally.

(And in case anybody doesn't pick up on it... Suzie, Mary Jo, Bobby, and Dennis, are hypothetical fictional characters. Any resemblance to actual people though, is pretty deliberate. )

I don't play the game anymore but if I did personally I wouldn't give a damn about banning the people doing it. What I would be wanting to see is the hacking actually stopped, hopefully PD are also working on that. Banning people doesn't solve the issue and yes, no matter what you use it for illicit hacking is, on the whole, an issue.

It might be considering I was using my hybrids while logged into psn.

Granted I dont use them in lobbys but still im connected.

Looks as if the only people banned so far are either the ones that have done the time trials or have the secret menu and using it in certain ways that disturbed online play.

Well just judging by what they were focused on with the few people that were "banned" (which they didn't say on this site but did on other sites) it looks as if they were focused on people ruining game play for others with the Secret menu capabilities and on online ranked seasonal events

Funniest thing is I tried it that day. I had a really bad feeling while looking through it.
Then reloaded my save that didn't have it. I am really glad that I did after that night
