Its not all that thrilling, trust me. You're not missing out on anything.
As far as I know, we're not allowed to tell how to do such things in the forums anyway...

And he didn't.
I'd say the real question here is 'Will they ban the PS3 ID or just the PSN ID?'
Reading around the net I'm thinking they may go for the PS3 - and then you're 🤬
I don't play the game anymore but if I did personally I wouldn't give a damn about banning the people doing it. What I would be wanting to see is the hacking actually stopped, hopefully PD are also working on that. Banning people doesn't solve the issue and yes, no matter what you use it for illicit hacking is, on the whole, an issue.

The notice PD gave us meant that they will only prevent you from accessing online features of GT5. If you get this ban then you should still be able to go online with other games.
Hahaha, no it isn't. It is like he said he isn't bothered about people getting bans but he is bothered about the exploit being closed.
This is a very peculiar comment that I'm not sure I understand.
It's like you're saying you don't want people given citations or to receive fines, and you wouldn't care if anyone went to prison or not... but you want all crime "actually stopped".
Like "The Minority Report"?
Well wishing that all possible exploits holes were closed (or never existed) so that hacking could not occur in the first place IS very much like wishing you could prevent all crime before it happened.Hahaha, no it isn't. The only reason it's such a huge issue now is because of online play. If there was no online play or no way to use them online we wouldn't be having these discussions.
Incorrect, it was a huge issue going back to GT1 days.

I agree with R1600turbo. The problems began with online play. Tos service may have been violated back in the day with GT 1 2 3 and 4 but only effected the individual offline game. and was not destructive to other gamers gameplay. Its like comparing apples to oranges.
Maybe but it wasn't a problem such as it is now with online play. And that's all it comes down to.
Feel free to set up an offline race series and then show me how you will go about protecting against the use of hybrids.

Offline racing series?
This comment alone highlights the ignorance of it all.

Offline race series were never anywhere near as widespread as online play in GT5 is, so R1600's point about how it wasn't as big of an issue for previous games stands.
It played a huge part going back to 1998, and continues to be part of GT. I'm sorry but you can't wipe over a decade of GT history.

And you can't give that history that much more importance than it actually has. There's no way to equate the significance of GT5's officially included online play being disrupted by hybrid cars to the various GT1-GT4's offline fan-run competitive events being disrupted by hybrid cars. Offline competitive events are a niche, be they photomode competitions, drag racing or even straight up time trials. Actual online play as an included feature is not, which is why hybrids are such a problem in comparison.
They simply aren't remotely comparable in terms overall importance to the game; and the fact that this is the first game where hybrid cars have popped up that there has been such vicious backlash against them should be evidence enough of that.
Gedi69Has anyone or know anyone that has been banned?
In facebook somebody write he was been banned. Than he write a message to Polyphony and said them that he got the hacked cars from a friend. Than the bann was deleted and now he can play again.
