Might be more hassle than it's worth but I will certainly be looking into it ahead of season2.

Knocking it back a week is not a problem for me... About penalties I also agree that not being allowed to qualify does feel a bit harsh... So I will randomly state a few ideas that could be worth considering in the future:

1. Points deduction from driver standings and, if no points, deduction from future points i.e. 4 points for slight misbehaviour and 10 points for a big one. This will still make worth for the driver to continue race and qualify at least.

2. Time penalty. Why not? This is the most realistic thing to do this is what they do in F1 etc. The distance in seconds and minutes between the drivers are visible after each race and can be seen afterwards in the replay. I.e. adding 10 seconds for a small incident and 30 seconds for a big one. And it would be applicable to all drivers no matter if they score a lot of points or not.

An important aspect for future penalties like these would be to (try to) standardize the actual penalties so that the risk of a driver feeling like he's being penalized arbitrarily decreases. These are just suggestions though

Aye I think for season 2 a Penalty system will be introduced, time deductions etc. Since next season will be Super GT i think having a formation lap will add to the realism since they do it in the actual races. But remember you guys, R35 had two strikes before the previous race meaning he could have been penalised then..Nice to read peoples views though...👍

Say for example I take you out and as a result finish 50 seconds ahead of you in a race you were clearly faster than me. Would you not find it unfair if I got a 30 second penalty for it and got to keep my place ahead of you?

Some nice ideas Toffe, I do agree with Steg's point above though regarding time penalties. I like the formation lap idea, it's been done before in other online races, a little more hassle but probably worth it, and as kk says it would also certainly add to the realism for Super GT:tup:

I spoke to steg about a month ago about poss of le mans.. I have pages full of info set for GTP and he told me to wait for season 1 to finish then start with organising le mans for season 2

I used me and Toffe as an example simply because that is who I was answering.

Nothing has changed with regards to you running a series, please appreciate that it has taken a tonne of work to get one off the ground and adapting the website to host multiple championships is even harder.

Teams will also be carefully matched to avoid any team being stacked with the best drivers.

Each car will have two drivers who will be teammates for the season.

Cars have not been tested yet. A few of them are underpowered at the start but I am sure with an oil change and some miles put on them they will reach the 502bhp required.

Could do 4 teams of 4 drivers instead of 8 teams of 2?

Nice so far...How about making the GTR's 30kg heavier and the Lexus's 15bhp extra to level the cars?

We would then need to just trust people not to cheat? Or do some kind of spot checks, like get everyone on track and change regulations to catch folk out. Obviously I'm not saying anyone would cheat... but it's possible.

The last JGTC series I was in was dominated by a dude in a Lexus so I reckon if we choose carefully enough who gets what car we can have a close season with everyone racing the same specs.

Although Jonzster may have to race in a Nissan Micra

Gtrs completely dominate kks series, nothing I can think of out of the jgtc can come close, how about separating to different classes, gt500 and gt300?

If we did time trials at the start and gave the 4 slowest drivers the GTRs do you think that would even it out enough?

lol as long as it's not go faster paint that should be ok

I am a bit wary of dudes slowing down skyline but I guess the racers we have already wouldn't need a trial because we have all seen over many weeks their pace.

For newcomers we would need to give a benefit to finishing first in the trials, or just not mention the fact the slower guys will get the skylines

penalties ,simple! you have pit stops? award a penalty pit stop at the end of lap 1 .

GT500/GT300
in my experience only the GT300 run close as the 500s you have to be in a gtr to be even in with a shout ,
but you could try GT500s 502bhp 1150 kg on racing med/hard NO softs it makes it more a driver ability thing.
