I have ever read that is too many strong, but the effects are well, and for example, you can sense how the car lose traction.
People say it offers a lot of info for driving, and is better than GT5 Prologue force feedback effects.

Personally I´m awaiting for the patch with the strenght adjusment to buy the game.
 
I've just created a dedicated forum for this game here on GTPlanet (which this thread has since been moved into), so please don't feel like you need to restrict your conversation to this one avenue. :)
 
I've played many sim racing games, GTL, GTR2, TDU, gt5p, they all have decent Force feedback, this game totally feels wrong, maybe adjusting the FF strength will remove the hard deadzone, but now it feels totally unrealistic.

maybe it's only a problem with the g25, cause gt5 has way better FF then this game.

About this game, I played it last night again, but the FF strengh really is unbearable. I'm not saying it is unrealistic, because, every now and them, I go racing (with friends) in go-karts, and I know that my arms start aching after one hour of racing, but ... I don't want to get physically exhausted just to play this game.

With the controller, everything is easier and smoother, but when I have the option of playing GT5P with the wheel, or FC:TP with the controller, I'll choose GT5P.

Hurry up with the promised patch, guys!


PS - btw, I really like the challenge cards game. With the full deck it takes a lot of time to play, but I've learned a lot about Ferrari and the cars they made. I don't know who was the guy that came up with the idea of putting a card game in a racing game, but I think it's a brilliant - most of all because unexpected - idea! 👍 :sly:
 
Most find the FFB too strong on this game thus theres an option to turn it down in the patch, they addressed the issue prety quickly, it's not a fix more of an option package for the weak of arm LOL

Does anyone know if FC is (will be) region-locked? If I get a copy from the UK will I be able to play online against NTSC opponents?
 
its not the strength that is the problem, but the wheel slamming into an invisible wall, I noticed when in the kitty litter the effect is gone, they need to remove that effect when on the road.

also when you're correcting oversteer or such there are huge force feedback spikes.

I Bought This Steering Wheel Last Weekend As Its Being Sold As The Wheel For Ferrari Challenge, The Wheel Just Doesn't Work With The Game, As Soon As Your Out Of First Gear And Getting Some Speed Up There Is Almost No Responce Its Like Delayed Reaction With The Steering, Took It Back To Game, They Set It Up And Said Nothing Wrong With Wheel It Must Be The Game, No Email For System 3 So Emailed Eutechnyx, 1 Week Later Still Waiting On Reply. Any One Else Had This Problem?
 
Is this game worth getting? It costs €60 here, so I wasnt going to bother with it. But a lot of you seem to love it. What do you think I should do, wait till it drops in price?

Its the best driving game aviable at the PS3 atm, if you like sim style games.

The handling, and graphics is maybe not quite upto GT5 P standards. However this is a full game with lots of content, if you are looking for a game to fill out time until the full GT 5 arives this is it.

That being sayd it is not a perfect game, it has some flaws. Especialy the Online part is disfunctional atm, but developers are working on a patch, wich is supposed to be out very soon.
 
Does this game work with a Thrustmaster Ferrari 5 in 1 wheel? anyone knows?

So its almost gt standards? if thats the case gonna buy it. :)

Hi,

The wheel is not a true wheel and simply emulates the joypad hence why you are experiencing a poor response compared to other wheels.

Yes I know. The Ferrari update should arrive a little over one week, if they keep their promises. And the GT5p update is at august 1st.

I thought that he was mixing up these date.
 
Yesterday, the shop-assistant agreed that if someone sells their FC:TP copy, he (shop-assistant) will phone me and I can decide if I buy it or not (second hand).

Man, you should film your decision-making process about this game and sell it as a reality show :D
