On the back straights does this mean you can't overtake the AI by going inside them over the yellow lines?

I'm lead to believe that it's a void run, i had my best time were i had to drop under the yellow's as there was 3 cars abreast, gutted to realise i had to delete that save

Spec II was a time saved before latest update, Spec III is a time recorded after this update

You can stick two wheels over, i.e. the left hand side of your car, but the right handside has to be still on track.

When you are at the main menu of the game look in the upper left corner of the screen - it clearly states Spec II or Spec III (at least it does on mine).

I don't know if it's the same for you but I loved this event under Spec II and really hate it under Spec III

I don't think Sphinx meant this event to be run with 700 pp...

I to have used the Dutch Customs tune. Must admit it is good. Although I did change the brake balance & shortened the final gear ratio, to get it to over 200mph+.

Thanks. I always consider a tune a basis to start with. It may need tweaks to cater for your specific driving style. What's good for me is not necessarily good for you.

I have just noticed that the deadline for specIII posts does not close until the 13th - sweet!
Had no real time to spend on it over the weekend so I will try again.

into turn 1.

I'll give you another bit of advice.

When going into turn 1 stay well left of the race line. as it is flatter and you can take pretty much a straight line into turn 1. this will help in keeping control of the car under braking.

I used the TCS set at 2 aswell. You will notice in the infield how much this improves your race in the infield. The TCS will not interfere whilst on the back straights. "Do not use the ASM, this will trash your lap, by constanlty interfering".

Therefore, next to the board for Event 1 - SPEC II (now called week 1a) we now also have the board for Event 1 - SPEC III (week 1b) up and running. Please let me know if all is displayed well.
If you want to submit for the event under spec II then hurry because the deadline is by the end of today.

I understood it as being a clean run as the line is still part of the track, its beyond it that is not the line. I am pretty sure Sphinx mentioned somewhere that the rule regarding lines is the same as tennis. On the line is considered in.
