Actually, I haven't been able to play it very much because of my immense amount of school project work and study over the weekend. I'm just now starting to play.

I got the arrival of the UPS truck on video, though.

My Girlfriend already bought both of them. She got the reservation special deal thing, that came with the stylus. And she works at target. So she bought them both already. I watched her play it during Calculus class a little bit. The graphics are waayyy better. Which i think they really needed. Another thing that i liked about it was the way they incorporated the bottom screen into battle. It plays pretty well, she let me play it for a little bit after school. I just wish the Pokemon now-a-days werent so stupid and cute. I want some bad a** cool pokemon....still fun games though.

This is my favorite game of 2007 so far. Excellent gaming with portability and online-play just plain owns.

Damn, this is making me want to actually go buy a few Pokemon games... updates at least... I think my brother has Ruby somewhere at parents.

Still, I could jam old school red in my Super Gameboy and get some serious retro action on Games where always good, I started playing back in middle school before it got too massive... and then every kid was playing it.. and then the card game came out, etc. That and the formula of the game eventually lost interest... of just catch and train, catch and train. Not much variety at times.

This wi-fi online battle thing sounds AWESOME though, and would certainly mix things up... so do tell how smoothly that works out there Omnis... might finally get me motivated enough to get a DS, with the array of titles out there for it now.

You can trade any pokemon via ad-hoc or wifi with friend codes. In other words, you can interface any way you want with people you know. You do this in the pokemon center basement.

However, you can also trade pokemon with anybody in the world via wifi in the Global Trade Center. At the GTC, however, you can only request and offer pokemon that are in your pokedex.

Once you complete the Sinnoh pokedex, you'll get a National pokedex with data on every pokemon ever.

Nope. The GTC is in the first big city you visit. I have all three starter pokemon already after trading with Japanese players who are breeding them. The only downside to it is that their names are in japanese and you can't change them.

Yeah, you can use Fire Red and Leaf Green to bring over all of the other 300+ pokemon after you complete the main quest.

I'm not sure if Ruby and Sapphire can do the same thing, however.

Actually, I need to revise my statements. The japanese pokemon change their names to english ones when they evolve. However, if the pokemon is nicknamed, it will never change. I couldn't tell that my Piplup was nicknamed beforehand, whereas my japanese chimchar evolved into an english Monferno. 👍

Only comes out here sometime in June, I just ordered my copy from the US (There is no PAL/NTSC difference for NDS games so it will work fine). Bleh, I tried to connect my DS to my wifi network but because I use WPA-PS2K (I think) protection it doesn't support it. That means I have to lower it to WEP protection for the DS to be able to be used on it right?
