Official WRC Game by Milestone/Black Bean

As I think about It, probably not, as long as USB is connected. May be you pressed X and start on the controller, to skip the intro, in stead of the wheel and that confuses the game ? Otherwise I would not know, I played It yesterday evening with a G25 (PS3) and all was fine, like usual.

I had another try this morning, did nothing different and the wheel is there....gawd knows whats going on.

sussed it, I have a pad cabled tied to my G25 for GT5. I have got into the habit of assigning the pad to controller one automatically and was doing that and WRC has to have the wheel as controller one. D'oh.

I remember a Rally Game on the PS2 a while back by Codemasters that had you start in a Ford Focus. The first stage was like 20 minutes long on an Australian track, then the second stage was Snowy.

If someone knows this game, it would really help me.

On Topic: Are WRC games really good, or are they a waste? I really like long rally stages.

Thats the one. I really liked that game, it was pretty fun.

Yes it was a great rally game, and a good challenge with a pad. I hope to hear some other news from WRC 2 soon. They said this time they collaborated with some rally drivers, recorded real car sound in proper chambers and improved graphics as well, let's see when the first preview will be ready...

I think this release will be how F1 2011 is going to be... MUCH BETTER. They both had to get something out and are only going to make things better. Im glad their doing it though because CodeMasters isnt making the kind of rally game I like. Though I like Dirt 3, I want more/longer/more narrow/ stages. I also just like the WRC career aspect.

Is the WRC game from last year available in the US? The WRC game on the PS2 that was released was one of my all time favorites. I remember winning the championship in the Skoda back then. That was a fabulous game, not like DiRT3 with its 90 seconds stages.

It is not available in US but you can import it. That's what I did.

I think they would do well to get this game up on Steam. I'd certainly give it a shot anyway.
