Actually, he doesn't say what measurement the 187 is, so I'd believe 187km/h....

The 187 claim is BS if it is MPH. The American e38 740 is limited to 250Km/h or 155Mph and can easily achieve that. However, even if it is unlimited you wouldn't get much past 165mp/h because of the drive ratio.

I think you might be misreading my posts. By what most people call a drift, which is a small powerslide less than 5degree angle usually, an AWD car will try to straighten itself out. Giving the driver a feeling of control and what not. Same can be said about a RWD car underpowered with an open rear diff. Like mine.

No, I am fully aware of what you are talking about. I've drifted AWD cars (actually drifting) and I know about this. And it is a huge pain in the ass to maintain any angle smoothly.

The kid in question likely got the tail to barely step out and has convinced himself he was drifting.
