We don't tell anyone because in Gran Turismo we are pretty much everyone. Even with all the other forums, they'd have some people that browse here occasionally and would find the info.

It is possible that the games are just stock on hand and the game is discontinued. The only way to know though is to see if stock is bought back in or not or get someone to check if it is a discontinued item. I know at least a store called dick smith here reduces their games to a very low price when discontinued. This happened when burnout paradise was discontinued as the ultimate box was coming out shortly. I also have noticed that folklore is all but impossible to find in most stores around australia now so should be discontinued.
Back on the speculation trail. I think we will find gt5's release date to be announced about 2 months before it is actually out. Though I'm sure if it was possible to stop leaked information PD would just casually put the game on the shelves and let people work out themselves the game is out.
On a sidenote about gt5 prologue, the motorshow started few days ago here and I went earlier today. Mitsubishi, Nissan and Ford all had demo stations of gran turismo 5 prologue demoing certain new models of theirs. Nissan infact had the proper circular simulators (4 of them).

Amar my friend... if You did read about grazy thing what happened to me today (post 484), I'd like to know Your opinion about keeping none Prologue copies available.
If You would be chief of example GameStop now, would You order, lets say hmmm... thousand copies Prologue now, or just keeping it zero in future too?
Cant you just buy and download GT5P online through the PSStore ?

I bought the Japanese version at 1st and then bought the english version when it launched. Now the Japanese version is just collecting dust

Edit: Paulie just had an idea, spawned by the thought of storiming into PD's office. Surely they must test cars outdoors yes? Would it be possible to use Google Earth to zoom in on their test area and see what cars are on the track? Can Google Earth even zoom in that far? And do we even know where PD test cars?

Yes... I got my moneys back from that second copy... I used my coverstory, and that pretty girl understanded my fail. I'm so low 
I also did read from Finnish 'Pelit' (Games)-magazine, the first full review about Iracing... it reach 97/100, and the columnist who wrote that is person who I respect about reviewing car-sims... so youre lucky dudes, cause now on you dont need to read anymore my whinging about GT's lacks in my point of view. I'm just doing research how much does it cost to me, to buy PC what can run that piece of art completely.
In that review, biggest probs Iracing took from totally awesome physics, and consentrating only to Online-racing. 👍

You have to understand that more news is highly unlikely. Suppose a tidbit is coming out in the Game Developer Conference at the end of the month. If Amar spilled it, what would be the big deal about an announcement or teaser at the GDC? Even better, if it's going to be unveiled at E3, still three months off, you know any word is going to be freaking insignificant this early. As every good Jedi master has been saying, be patient and eat your Prologue.

Oh no, the travesty that was "E for All" has been abandoned and the ESA realizes they made a huge error. I think when PAX became bigger than the official industry event they realized that awesome stuff like booth babes are a good thing.I thought there wasn't going to be another E3...
Maybe there won't be any news at all.

Technically there hasn't been a true (in spirit) E3 for a couple of years now as the ESA tried to transform it into something different and focus their attention more on E for All. There was even an E3 funeral in 2007. http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/17/gamecocks-e3-funeral-mourns-an-old-friend/
Developers were dropping out and even breaking off ties with the ESA. E3 was E3 in name only. This year the ESA is trying to get it back to where it was just before it became a circus, where it was fun and entertaining while still being informative. There is a balance to be reached, but the ESA swung too far in the other direction. The other issue they had was spreading out all over LA one year instead of being in one central location.
The sign that E3 was not what it was supposed to be was when the Penny Arcade guys managed to do it better.

And the third thing is also in the oven, but you can't even imagine it's even baking. And besides that third thing there is something else in the oven, I'd say it's the oven itself.
