What limitations do you speak of?
I think Kaz mentioned this himself, that he would prefer to build for something that is more powerful. Sure ok, he always wants "better".

I don't want to complain but personally I don't think the tracks look good at all, look at some of the trees, the crowd, some textures, etc. It looks very PS2-ish, while the cars and some other parts of the tracks look amazing.

People have also been complaining about the shadows (in the interior) of cars, although that doesn't bother me as much.
It would also be very interesting to cut down some of the loading times, with GT6 this would only get worse.

I doubt ps4 will be announced in the next 2 years

According to OXM the next Xbox will arrive in 18 months. MS is currently searching for new staff.

A few days earlier Brian answered a question and mentioned a new Xbox. Microsoft tried to search for an execuse and said he means the 360 Holiday Update.

I have no doubt the Next gen will arrive soon. I think the PS4 and Xbox will be anounced on E3 2013.

I just don't see PS4 coming out next year..I just don't. The new PS3 revision hasn't even hit the shelves yet.

I'm personally just going by Sony's patterns from past years. The slim PS2 was out for over 2 years before we saw a PS3. I don't see the PS4 coming out til 2014 at the earliest. We're around 9 Months away from the Next E3 and there hasn't even been a Picture of a PS4 yet let alone ANY concrete details..We had photos of the PS3 over 6 Months before it came out.

This is also why i think we'll see GT6 on PS3.

Also, keep in mind that the next Xbox has already had some tech revealed officially, but Sony hasn't even said a word. I doubt they are even developing one right now.

A premium on the ring shows just how good GT can look on ps3, I really have no complaints as to the graphics when you are in a "premium situation." I would love to have gt6 on ps3 if they can make every situation a "premium situation." Especially since I'm not even going to bother with the ps4 for a few years after it's release. Gt5 is the only game I really play, and I'm not paying the absurd price of consoles for one game.

The thing is, in 2010, when the dev kits were supposedly given to certain developers, Kaz still mentioned two or three times that GT6 will definitely be released faster than GT5.

If GT6 is on PS4, I fail to see how it could be released quicker than GT5. Hence, why I lean toward a PS3 release next year.

My advice, however, is to NOT get your hopes up. Not after GT5's hype but eventual disappointment.

Well. The PS1 had a new model in the same year as the PS2 arrived.

Sony had problems with the PS3 and had to delay the release.

I think the PS4 will arrive in december 2013 or 2014.

Put it on xbox!

I'm joking i would like to see it on the ps3 im not ready for a new system.

Umm, you know what it means to announce a console right? You don't get pictures of it or info beforehand so your comments are a bit odd.

There should be a dual release. PS3 and PS4. That said, I want to say it will be released on PS4. Which is going to drive me away from buying it.

Sony needs a boost after coming in 3rd place with the PS3. I think GT6 will release on PS4 as a release date game (or even come packed in with the PS4). Here are some reasons why I think GT6 will be a PS4 release:

1. In many GT5 reveiws, people complain about the 2D backdrops in some tracks, the graphical quality of standard cars, and bad AI. Better Tech of the PS4 means GT6 will be able to have better graphics and better AI.

(If GT6 comes out on PS3, PD may not be able to improve graphics and AI by much, due to GT5 allready using most of the PS3's power.)

2. A GT6 release on PS4 will help sell PS4's. The reason that the PS3 was so expensive when it lauched was due to the gaming industrys switch to HD graphics, which was why Sony included blu-ray and cell technology (2 very but expensive techs at the time the PS3 launched.

6 years later, blu-ray tech has dropped in price and Sony is rumored to go with a more traditional dual core or quad core CPU for the PS4 (due to developers having a hard time with the cell chip). Because of this, I see the PS4 costing no more than $400 at launch.

Even though this is much cheaper than the PS3 launch price. Sony will still need a AAA game to help motivate people to migrate over to the new PS4 platform. GT6 would be the perfect game.

(if GT5 launched on PS3, this may distract people from moving over to the PS4.)

3. GT6 would be the best way to show off new tech. Racing games are one of the few genres of games that really show you what a system can do. A game like GT6 would show people the new power of the PS4.

Sony can't afford to be the last one out. It's all but confirmed that the Xbox 720 will launch in 2013. My timeline for sony is:

-Holiday 2012: The last good PS3 games start coming out. (the last of us, new god of war, ect.)

-Fed 2013: Rumors and leaks of PS4 start to spill out.

-March 2013: Sony holds offical event to announce PS4 and show tech demos and prototype hardware design

-May 2013: Developers start to show tech demos for PS4 games

-June 2013: Sony shows the PS4, in final hardware form. Shows games in development and potential lauch games.

-Sep 2013: Sony announces offical price of PS4

Dec 2013: PS4 launches worldwide for $400.

Dec 2013: Special Racing edition PS4 comes with GT6 and Fast & Furious 6 Blu Ray for $500

I want this on PS3, and that's where I think it'll end up. GT5 had to be built from scratch with a new engine for physics, lighting, etc. That would give PD the time to work on things that people complained about: less standards, better AI, etc. They also said that we wouldn't have to wait 5 years to get GT6

There are already plenty of big PS3 games due out up to mid 2013, GTA V for one.

Umm, you know what it means to announce a console right? You don't get pictures of it or info beforehand so your comments are a bit odd.

Where were you when the PS3 was released. There were quite a few "Spy photos" had of it before it came out. And we knew it would be blu-ray etc etc..My comments are odd? Huh.

But why couldn't they announced it at E3 2013 for example? Why does something HAVE to be leaked for you to believe it's possible? Besides, plenty of rumours and leaks are abound. You say we got PS3 photos 6 months before we saw it, do you mean before it was announced at E3 2005? Because if so that means if we get a leaked photo around Christmas this year we'd be right on track, no?

I just find it odd to base a console release schedule on what has leaked about it beforehand. When a console is announced it's supposed to be a surprise, they try to avoid leaks wherever possible.

Only on the internet can leaks and rumors be more official than official sources. lol

The way I see it, we don't have a PS4. That is undeniable. Now, I'm not sure if we have any official information that Sony is working on one, but I don't think so what with the PS3 Super Slim coming out. What we do know is that Polyphony Digital is working on Gran Turismo 6. So, how could PD be developing a game for a console that does not exist? Unless the entire world is one big conspiracy, and Sony has 400,000 working PS4s they gave to PD to test GT6 on...

We don't really need official information Sony is working on a PS4, common sense suggests they are. I believe there is official confirmation devs have recieved dev kits for PS4 though. Now the big question with PD is how early did they get one and was it early enough for them to start GT6 as a PS4 game.
