PP650 Daytona Road - Tuned Skyline - 1.48.392 - GTP_timeattack (replay saved)

I came up with a quick tune and did a few laps in free run to get a feel for the car, so I should have a couple of more tenths left in the tank. I'm pretty impressed with this car 👍
 
It's quite difficult to correct with my tune so far, done roughly 15laps. But if you don't get it to that limit, it's really nice and smooth to drive quickly. I did my quickest lap with R1/R1...But with R2/R2 I could be up at T1 by 0.4xx but then lost it around the double apex right hander...odd.

My best time, is usually timeattacks first fastest time. So I'm aiming for a 1'48.3xx :)

I ran a 1:53.9xx in a BMW concept tii. Haven't been able to replicate that lap, but still working on the tune. It's usually 1:54.2xx's.

In the Skyline 370GT I am pretty sure I clocked pretty easy 1'53s, and in a Jaguar XK 1'54s. Both on S3 tyres of course.:)

In race conditions the XK seems to average low 1'55s.👍 I've had some amazingly good races with a1PAPAOSA in XKs at Fuji. I wish more people would get in on it, this kind of sports car racing is what it's all about.:dopey:
 
My best lap is 1'48.6xx in TT with Clio tuned on S3, but I'm not good in TT. During online race a went 1'46.7xx behind Thanos's GT-R. His best lap was 1'46.0xx.

Did some more tuning today and was able to get a lot more comfortable with the car 👍 I think I still have a couple of tenths left in the bag, as my Sector 1 & 2 times were a bit off the pace though. I'll have to examine the replay again to see if I had 4 wheels over the white line at the exit of T2...I can thank the 6-axis for that one. Not like that inch or two made any difference in my laptime though.

I was thinking about making a tune for the Bimmer, but I'll probably do the 135i coupe (not the tii). Judging by your times the car is quite quick.👍
 
Timeattack, simply incredible laptime and the video is much appreciated. The leaderboard is being constantly updated guys so be sure to check back and see how you're stacking up.

So far it seems like typical D1 times are mid 48s and faster, D2 times are roughly mid-to-high 49s and faster. I expect this to change as the week goes on and D2 guys to be very low 49s to mid 48s and D1 to have moved entirely to very low 48s and mid to high 47s.

Please do. I'm using an old Suzuka tune and the rear end is all over the place. This car is much faster with a better setup.

Can those posting Fuji times please list what tires you are using? I'm seeing 1:50's from the Clio's and Elise's but more than likely they are on R1 tires so I don't consider their time when comparing with mine.
