If I remember correctly, last time this event was up the Evo X was the favorite here. I managed to pull a 2'09.385 in free run with her here. Hopefully I still have the same freaking set up for her. Won't be able to get on until 9pm eastern time in the states.

If you still have that setup you know what to do.

When someone does set up an event for Suzuka, can you please use R1600Turbo's idea about only giving start times via PM? I think it'll really help with the amount of punters in our time slot.

It really is inevitable bmxguy. I was once a "punter" simply because I was skilled enought man. But this is an opportunity for more people to grow. Plus this is a very technical course, it's very difficult for the true punters to keep up with us on the course. The only part that we really have to becareful is at turn 1 guys.

Well yeah I guess so, I just thought it was a good idea. I just tried a race and you are right, the less skilled drivers had no chance at keeping up. I was more worried about the people who are lethally fast and a punter.

And the tearing on the shadow in the Viper at the High Speed Ring is ridiculous in cockpit view-the shadow is annoying and a little distracting!

Maybe they did this bad update, only to then reward us with a release date for GT5?

I ended up doing some testing in the 550pp Eiger RWD race tonight for a bit. Trying to decide if I'm happy running mid 1:12's in the 335i or if I should take the easy route and run high 1:11's with the RX-8.

So what times are we gonna run? Me and Egghead had a bit of fun at Suzuka last night, but there were only three people. :ouch: Ten laps with a small grid gets boring pretty fast.

Not enjoying the latest Event Updates. Too many Intermediate events that should be Expert or Pro. Daytona Road Course should be on Expert with penalties for cutting chicanes and turns, that would be fun:tup:

I was on Fuji last Night with in the Integra with not much luck, but its just a case of finding the right set up.

I thought that would be the case. It's rarely that you run into a fast person/punters at Suzuka with this combo. I still haven't had a chance to run the new event yet. Hopefully this evening.

There put up an event for this track R1600Turbo. I hope that it will bring more peeps. It could be a lot of fun if more people knows.

...especially when I spin and lose touch with the lead pack pair :)

Thanks for waiting for me, was getting lonely back there.

5 racer including myself is the best I've seen today. Hopefully tonight will bring more people in. I'm racing now if anyone is interested?

550 FWD Fuji
550 RWD Eiger North
600 AWD Suzuka (WE)
700 Daytona Speedway
Dodge Viper SRT10, Highspeed Ring (WE)

Can anyone shed any light on how many laps each of these events consists of?

If each of these races are 3-lappers then you all have a valid point to winge, if there is more to them than the outcome of an arcade style first corner pile-up then maybe you should all reserve your judgements and give them a fair go.

Personally, I think the longer race events are superb, it's the best way to get rid of the arcade-wannabes and the punters who, lets face it, get bored too quickly to last for more than 3 laps. The long events encourage a better class of driving and driver.

Hoping that next weeks Event Updates will have more 600, 650, 700, 750, and 800pp events with most of them being Pro based. Now that there is only 70 plus days until GT5 is released it would be nice to have a numerous amount of Pro Events to involve more people. If anyone finds that a certain track or PP Event is not to their standard they can choose somethng else rather than turning the game off or running Time Trials.

👍 except the incorrect countdown :)

I would love to see a surprise treat like a new track; just to build the excitement to November 2nd

I would love to see that too, but its like this relationship we all have with PD is to treat us mean but keep us keen with screeenshots and videos.
We can only hope (Well I hope) that there will be DLC demo with say 5 cars and two tracks with online play a month before the release of GT5:tup:
