Online Racing -> Apologies Here!

...I had the unfortunate experience of racing against broomhdj and speefydeezy at the Expert 600 Suzuka....

Oh man, i was so pissed off. I didn't even realize there were posts against this clown. To Chris0 and H_s2000, I hope we all get to race together with these guys so we can return them the favor.
If you mean "spiffydeezy" that surprises me. I've raced against him several times and it was clean each time. I've even been in a two person race with him and he slowed down when I spun out so I could catch back up.

As for returning the favor, that's not my style. I just try and avoid known problems. Although I did quit on someone once while I was hosting the race, only one of two times I've ever quit a race. I'm pretty sure it was broomhdj, too, and I waited until he was on near the end of his third lap.;)

I've recently started tactically quitting (especially in 750pp races) when there are too many idiots on the track. I used to ride it out and finish near the back but then, when I restart, more often than not I'm up against the same asshats. So now I quit mid-race and get a new bunch of competitors.

*edit* I'm never the host

I know what you mean about being stuck in the same group of lousy drivers race after race. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I host about 90% of the races I'm in, so I can't just quit. Unless it's just me and a punter.

I never quit even when there is rammers out there. I was able to get up to the top 3 just by being passive.

Ok, that's three times I've quit now. I was hosting at Suzuka when guess who's in the lineup? It's me, broomhdj and some other racer named bender6502. I was out in front in the first lap going into turn two when bender punts me into the sand and just keeps on going. So I quit. I feel bad for bender6502 for a few reason...he didn't have anything to do with it...Bender from Futurama cracks me up...and I did a little assembly language programming on the 6502 when I had my Atari 400.

Sorry bender6502.

I was racing in the expert pp600 at suzuka and this clown in a black nsx kept crashing into me, I don't know what his problem was, maybe he was just a bad driver, I think his name was H_s2000 but I'm not sure. Steer clear of this clown.

:ouch::ouch::ouch::ouch::ouch::ouch::ouch::ouch:

Right, and we all @GTP believe you..... (NOT)

Can we stick to the topic please? Thank you.

you have got to be kidding? you were one of the biggest offenders out there last night, along with deezy or whatever his name is as well as dogui something.

every turn your strategies are to bump off the guy in front of you and we all the see the trail of carnage you leave behind.

there is no skill or sportsmanship in this type of play. maybe you guys should go play grid?

Hi GTP_Gnobody
I was enjoying racing you, and I don't think you swapped paint any more than me. I pretty much spent all evening fettling the Audi myself.
I prefer to try to make competitive a car which few others are using. I started off the evening in a Scooby, but gradually most people were were using Scobbies & Evos, so I wanted something different. Hats off to Vanuber for his speed in the Jag!!

Sorry anyone on the last grid with me, i got shunted by an AWD behind and carnage ensued i nearly ended up being spun out as the moron kept pushing me even though i had already gon between cars he had nowhere to go but into me, did he slow? no floored it and pushed me into everyone.

If he drives a black EVO IX then it was him. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but what do you exactly call deliberately stopping in front of you and weaving left - right as you're trying to pass by? I was trying to catch up to everyone on the first lap and as I was coming out of Degner, all i see are brake lights and frantic weaving. Major props to him if he races clean on most races, unfortunately, my first encounter with him was less than desirable. Maybe it was just broomhdj that set him off first, and the road rage just chain reacted.

You're right chris0 - just avoid "known" problems. As soon as i see anything with "broom" on the lineup, i'll just quit.

Well, to broom how did I hit you? You bump into me while entering a corner and you know your much fast since you got downforce on with more aerodynamics, but I won't make that a matter, but please respect the driver infront of you, you also know your faster in the straight. I'm not gonna make a big deal over this. .

To vukmeister, retaliation is not my style, I was just saying that he was bumping me.

I drive a red one, and you know i never hit you.

edit : maybe a couple times cuz i was a lil too agressive with the S2 tires, but it wasnt intentional.. ask chris he says i race clean.

Hey Spiff, then it wasn't you at all. My apologies for getting names mixed up (if you were in the same race as i was Oo_xVx_oO) There was only 4 of us in that race and all I remember was the Yellow and the Black EVO IX bec. those two kept running me off - the other guy in the race didn't give me problems at all. I look forward to racing a good one with you.:cheers:

Oh yeah, and that broomhdj guy wasn't me, I don't know what that guy's problem was but I saw him crashing into everyone

Here's an apology for Sjaak
Some of the racing was carnage earlier, and I spent a deal of time in the litter. I think I may have clattered into you. I'm sorry if that's the case. Not deliberate, just clumsy.

Obviously not... we all believe you! :dunce:

By the way... can you tell us what is your (new) name online? Just so I know when to quit when restart playing online next week.

(Apologies to everyone for feeding this off topic).

i call bs on both broom and spiffy - you guys were hacks of the largest caliber last night, and should be punished by having to wash all the kitty litter off my car and wax out the body damage.

dogui also drives like a dog.

GTP_Sjaak,

Suzuka PP600 12.15am

Sorry, I put picked up your slipstream and missed my braking marker by a fraction accidentally tagging you. No intent just a little in-experience. (I am sure I am not the first person to ever do this) So I slowed down to let you catch up and re-pass me. When you do catch up you knock me off the track. Not just once but 3 times !! Very harsh.

Anyway, appologies for my 1 mistake.

schwantzz,

Not the race I remember.

I overtook you before the chicane and it was possible that you missed your breakpoint.
I was sofar in the wall, the bonnet was stuck in it.

Sofar no harm, but you continued the race without a single moment to stop .
At that moment you were for me just another punter.
When you crashed at the end of the straight I waited for you and gave the punches.

But the good thing is ,in the next 3 races I never touched you a single time.:)

That's a good point. A lot of contact is unintentional, even the best of drivers may send someone off road once and a while. Since we don't have voice chat yet we can only judge someone's intentions by their actions. If you accidentally punt someone off road then stop to show you didn't mean it. What do you lose by doing so? Worldwide standings? There are none. Money? I'm sure most of us either have 2M credits or buy cars of different colors just to dump some money. You lose nothing but your spot in that one race.

Perception is reality, and if you just keep driving each time you punt someone you'll quickly gain a reputation as a punter. If you acknowledge and react to an accidental bump you quickly gain a reputation as a clean driver. It's up to you whether or not you care about which reputation you have.

Everyone im sorry for holding up trafic in the first few turns on suzuka P750 i mean on a Mines R34 i cant corner as fast as the Amuse GT1. and if im going slower people...please pass me dont push me into a pit it gets really annoying when i race fairly being careful when im trailing my opponet and then the same dude puts me into the dirt...

Otther than that GREAT competition guys.

When you see the same people doing the same crap over and over again though.....you start to think it's not so unintentional. then they get used to doing that to you....then next lap he knows hes gonna ram me so i get out of his way in the last minute and he goes off into the dirt and leaves.....
i jsut described 82 percent of the rammers.....the ones that don't fall into the UNintientional group...

so you dont remember punting me on the first turn of suzuka 600 last night?

or was it not you driving?

I was driving a 2008 Magic Carpet with 40 inch spinners on it .. it was a red and gold one, did you see me hit u?

putty if u wanna race, ill race you but u dont have to call me a dirty driver .
ill race u and beat you while racing clean anyways =P

AKA im calling you out
