Online Racing -> Apologies Here!

Apologies to GTP_putty for several mistakes I think I caused in the four or five rounds we played together last night. I'm quite the newb especially with pro physics and have just been racing the pro events for a half a week or so. I believe my breaking early caused the one massive tangle up we got into on the high speed corner in Suzuka, and I think I saw you go way wide to avoid hitting me on a later lap in the same place. :)

Appreciated the waitups every time I ran off track as well, sorry I couldn't give you more competition. You'd think an R8 would have no trouble against an Evo (wasn't it non-tuned too?)

Actually while I'm here, apologies to all for any erratic behavior. :) Fortunately I'm usually near the back of the pack where I can do minimal damage. :)

No need to apologize. I was actually having a lot of fun racing you last night. I did punt another GTPer hard on Suzuka, it may be the incident you were referring to. Apologies for my part in that.

All and all lots of fun. I look forward to racing you again.

The non-tuned EVO is quite nimble and forgiving, as is the tuned one. Probably one of the easier cars to tame in the game.

GTP_Racer, sorry I hit your back on esses. Dont know what happened.

In the end, you were standing before finishline... do you have too much GT dollars:)

At one point, on suzuka 750pp I think, a guy rammed into me by accident and I went into the sand. He stopped behind me and allowed me to get back on track. At some point later on, I braked too hard and sent him into the sand. I am sorry and it wasn't intentional.

GTP_SeniorL8R, sorry I took you out at last corner of the last lap at Suzuka 600pp Thursday night! It was a completely bone headed move. I feel especially bad since you race very clean.

No apology needed. I 've raced against you enough that I know you drive clean and competitively. You outbraked me coming up on the inside of the righthand portion of the corner and you had the line, though I could not see you anymore. I still did alright, and on the night I was near the front most of the time.

I was trying out different cars for all of the S2 limited venues, so I had to be a little conservative going into some of the turns until I had the cars set right.

I noticed that you were always right there at the front when I was. Very consitent and FUN.

EDIT:
My apology to GTP_EDK for coming up on the inside of you going into the first turn at Suzuka on Friday night. I didn't think I made contact, but when I looked back you were not there. I slowed down for you to catch up, but you disappeared from the display and your name did not show up in the list at the end. Sorry for not stopping immediately and suddenly. I try to drive clean, but occasionally mess up when I get that adrenaline high during the first couiple of races of the night.

Not sure if you touched me or not. Like I mentioned on the PSN message, that was my last race of the night and I exited once I made it into the kitty littler, since I was tired and I was not the host. :dopey:

Nice racing with you tonight @ 600PP Suzuka. You are a clean driver and pushed me to stay perfect all the way through. I'm a native Oregonian myself, only moved from there in 2002. 👍 Again, nice racing with you!

Kevin

Apologies to ButtfaceMcCrack for coming up outside you going into turn 1 at Suzuka. We didn't make contact, but you changed your line and got nailed by joe-ferrari, then we both got hit by lordini, the ramming specialist. Those guys need to find the brake pedal.

Apologies to GTP_Donk for a punt on Suzuka last night. It wasn't my fault your honour, I was caught up in domino punting. :ouch:

Great racing on Suzuka 600 last night. Thought I had my Evo IX sorted but some guy form Portugal was really screaming in his yellow one 👍

apologies to GTP_MisterWeary for a hit in Hairpin at Suzuka a few minutes ago (me on white Skyline).
I enjoy driving with you 👍

Not a problem bobzed...you were obviously trying to drive clean 👍 (Unlike some of the numpties out there )

My profuse apologies to both GTP_Grim_Reaper and GTP_hyperuk... we were having a good race of it at Suzu 600PP and I overzealously managed to boot them both off in seperate incidents. I did wait but its damn frustrating to be sand-pitted when your going well. In my defense, its only the second time I've raced the 599 and its a bit "lively" at the back end. :)

Is it me you are talking to? Don't remember you hitting me anymore. Don't worry about it 👍
If I remember correctly we had a couple of races together. I think I also hit you in one of them and I wanted to let you win. You didn't take the win though, stopped behind me and I still won and you came in 3rd. The next race I was in the lead again and you were recovering from going off earlier in the race. I saw you being 2nd coming out of the last corner and let you have the win because you lost a place the race before.

as for me: Apologies to GTP_DukeOfPendle for punting you off at the hairpin just now. Wasn't driving that well and outbraked myself a couple of times, as I did at the hairpin at that moment.
I also have to apologise for the move I did at the start of the race. I was behind a BMW M3 and was accelerating a lot faster. When I moved over there was someone next to me and I hit the fella. I didn't know he was there till I did the move. Don't know who it was though.

I am brazilian....haven't raced yet but looking foward now. I am online right now I can' wait to play with the greatest clean drivers around here!! :P Oh yeah...if you all want to add me as a friend....PSN ProtoCell Online right now in GT5P on High Speed Ring Pro 600PPP

Apologies to GTP_Gnobody for hitting you on suzuka 600pp tonight. I can't remember what happened, but you stopped for me, I stopped for you, and we both lost the race. :)

Same races yes, thanks... so both of us didn't even felt those small bumbs I think. I've noticed that when I manage to get lead, I usually go wide somewhere on the next curves. Maybe It's that stupid thing, that grip changes then, or maybe it's part of my strategy. I'm sure you only thought you bumbed me, so tight races they was.

No problem mate, I could have been tidier myself, it was a close one, good race! 👍

Sorry to Vaxen during a PP600 Suzuka race. It seemed as if I hit you on the fast, left-handed dog leg heading into the tight chicanes. Really sorry about that (plus, a few "Go faster!" nudges :sly:). I was trying to avoid it though, I thought I hit the brakes early enough to let you around the outside. I tried to wait for you on the stretch after that, and ended up under-steering into the chicanes.

It's bad that my first post on GTP is an apology, right? :ouch:

I apologize to sek82809! I didn't mean to punt you tonight at suzuka 600, I was driving the black NSX-R. You started swerving while braking and i was on the outside and i was about to enter the corner with you. I truly apologize about what happened man.

No problem, and welcome to the site! 👍

No problem with that - I actually thought that you got punted into me. I was probably braking too early as usual.:dunce:

GTP _CHRIS O I was trying something new with the ALFA and it didn't work. That is why I fell back. If you see me again and I am not in a EVO or a WRX, don't wait for me. This gose to everyone.👍

lol. I was in the back because I was playing around with the settings for the STi. I was trying LtiniusGT's settings but modifying them. During a previous race I really stunk up the joint racing PS-City. I'd lowered the STi as low as it gets and basically slid sideways through every corner. When I raced you I think the height was close to where I wanted it but I was playing with the toe and camber by then.

No matter how many free laps I do and think I have a good setup it usually ends up being quite different when actually racing online. So tonight I was doing what it seems you were doing: adjusting between races and moving over to the side at the start of each race to let everyone pass.

Hi all Just to let everyone know that had my first online race and if you see SCOOBYGTROO then its me i tryed to have scooby-roo but i didnt get it so just to let all the fast boys & girls know.

I was looking forward to racing with the new S2 tires, I was thrilled after some good runs in "Free run" mode, but I was really disappointed when racing...

The car handling turns from sooth (or whatever you set it up for) to snappy. They all handle like 🤬 on real racing. Only the AWD can be more easily tamed...

I was a bit all over the place, hope I didn't do anyone much damage. Apologies to anyone I may have touched or annoyed last night on Suzuka 600.

I've decided to force myself to get better at using the analog stick for acceleration/braking and learn to control RWD cars with the sixaxis. I apologize in advance for anyone I bump, ram or nudge and for holding people up going through the corners.

Sorry to anyone I hit. I don't play that much, online in particular and I have been known to accidently hit people in heavy braking zones if they brake early in particular.

I know I sent some GTP guy flying off on the final Chicane on Suzuka once because of this.

But it is always unintentional unless I have a good reason to act otherwise.

@ gtp_stevisiov:

Sorry about making you lose control just after the start just now. The guy in the GT-R was coming over to my side, forcing me to go onto the grass. I slowed down, but wasn't completely out of the grass when I hit the brakes. You know the rest...
I saw you being pushed off by the guy in the red EVO (can't remember his name, but he is Spanish) in the second lap. I wasn't surprised you were going off though, he pushes everyone of that comes near him 👎

Was playing a couple of races on Suzuka in the 750PP class around lunch time today and totally lost it seeing another player who bumped me off was trying to bump another one off and I totally lost it. Waited for him one lap and tried to get revenge and accidentally hit someone else. Sorry for that...

I'm so tired of these Destruction Derbys...
