I accidentally tapped your Lancia from behind with my Art Morrison Vette in the PP600.

I am very sorry about that and glad it didn't move you much. I just misjudged the braking distance. The AM Vette is a real handful. My tune is about as good as I can get it, but it is underpowered at top speed and really has to be pushed hard to be competitive.

You put up a really good race and it was by far the best I had all night. (I got a corner penalty on the last turn and you got me good there!)
 
I must apologize to GT5net_scarface for my poor poor racing. He tapped me from behind accidentally on Degna 2 at Suzuka and I ended up in the gravel.

I was prepared to let this slide, but he would not overtake me at all and we both went from 1st and 2nd to 5th and 6th. I was trying to signal him to take the lead (he was quicker than me), but he wouldn't pass until I was back on the track and I spent 5 seconds maybe even 10 seconds on the grass in deference to him, but he still would not pass.

Scarface, I ruined your race, you should have won fair and square and a minor tap from behind does not bother me. I appreciate your honour and I apologise for ruining what could have been a great race for you.

I don't remember any tapping. Those 2 races we had were great :). The Lancia doesn't have too much power and handles funny but I like it.
 
I want to apologize in advance for any collisions I may have tonight :guilty: I just got a wheel today after years being set in my ways using a pad, I have been running a bit in free run this afternoon to get the feel and its pretty damn cool but tonight will be the first time I go in the mix using a different controller .. It will all come together through time I suppose! but I'm going in at the deep end anyway and my apologies again in advance to anyone I make contact with .. I never intentionally hit anyone this will be like my first steps from the baby walker again so go easy on me ;)

I'll be making that transition as soon as I move, and I'm worried about that too... What did you get? The G25?
 
I'll apologies in advance as well. It's not my intention to bump, scrape, or otherwise rub elbows with anyone. I just haven't found that sweet spot between driving a bit to hard and just under the right speed. Also when racing online it's a bit hard to judge others intention and as such I tend to attack the corners at strange angles in anticipation of all the crashing that happens. I'm also trying to get used to the inside view where I have at least one more mirror to look at. :) So far it's worked out OK, and it can only get better with practice.

No just a DFP mate, I tried the G25 at the Holland LAN event and its just too much work for me to be honest ... maybe after getting aquainted with the wheel for a few months I will move up again! for now it's just one step at a time ;)

I totally recommend the change anyway as its wicked fun and no more sore thumbs woohoo! 👍

The missus bless her(yes I have a big stick) set up a reminder on the TV and didn't tell me.:mad:

So just as I'm approaching the braking point for the hairpin on the last lap the TV turns itself over from the HDMI channel to normal TV

First time we meet on the track and I go and do something that :banghead: I honestly thought I was clear - could see you in the mirror and everything.

Then I tried to get out of your way to give you the win but you were so far up my bumper there was nothing I could do.
 
Sorry to mr_Volcano for the bump I gave him on turn 2 (i think) at Suzuka, completely unintentional.

Sorry to someone else too, I cant remember who it was, but they were driving a red Evo X and we were going into turn 1 at Suzuka, I had just overtaken someone and saw you coming on the inside....I couldnt make any sudden corrections because I had already committed to the turn, so sorry if you felt I had blocked you off or anything.
 
@Topgearhead: I'm a bad driver but not that bad.;) I was trying to get used to the cockpit view as I normally use the bumpercam. Anyway, in the process of switching views I guess I forgot how the controller works because, when you saw me shoot off into the sand, I was furiously pressing the L2 rear-view button and wondering why I wasn't slowing down.:eek: I have R2 setup as the brake, that's why. Once that happened I just forgot how to drive altogether so I'm taking a break now.

What were you and Apollo87 doing just sitting there at the finish line?

@Apollo87: I had fun racing you today. Well, mostly chasing you. I wrote your name down after that first race (suzuka 600pp) when you spun out and then quit while you were hosting. (I assumed it was you, could've been the another racer.) I decided to race again to return the favor as it seems I host 99% of the races I'm in. Then I got spun out and you and another racer were sitting there waiting for me. I'm glad I didn't intentionally ram you or quit the game just as you were about to cross the finish line on the 3rd lap.
 
Umm , I want to apologize to topgearhead too cuz I was having some trouble calculating his braking points and gave him a few bumps.

And to Chris0 because I think I pushed you in the first race, I wasn't sure so I stopped anyway.

And I stopped at the finish line to give the win to topgearhead, but he wouldn't let me so we were just mesing around at the finish line, quite fun I must say, Thanks to both of you for some very fun races.

Mr P : Sorry for the last race when you were 1 & 2 with Sphinx I Arrived really too fast and went out to avoid the touch. I didn't felt it but apparently somebody else took you out !!!
 
Thats ok mate I never knew who hit me anyway .. I was sure me and Jerry were way clear of the rest of the field to be honest and next thing you know I'm off at the last chicane, Thanks for putting your hand up mate, accidents do happen ;) it's the deliberate rammers tonight who have pissed me off slightly. Everything is cool with us and looking forward to racing you again! .. going back there now as it happens ;)

Umm I wasn't hosting that match, actually I hardly ever get to be the host, besides I don't quit, the most I do when I've had enough of a race is go to the kitty litter and park, so yeah the other guy was the host and the one who quit.

@Div: sorry for the push in the hairpin at Suzuka 600PP i didn't see you until it was too late, damm this definately hasn't been my day :ouch:

No probs mate, I was just in a race with yourself and Adidaz where I was rammed so many times my blood pressure went through the roof ... I went on a vendetta with the guilty party ( some guy in a blue subaru )and made his race miserable right up to the finish line 👍 I meant what I said earlier! I have had enough of the rammers and I am at the stage now .. when and if my race is wrecked by a knobhead then I will wreck there's it's only fair to share and share alike :)

Good racing guys! just a shame so many tools appeared on the grid 👎
 
Div, sorry about the mix up in 600PP sazuka, Still getting used to the Acura NSX... Major props for stopping and letting me back into position though, sorry if I ruined your race...
 
Apologies to whoever it was that I apparently knocked out of the corner on the inside last night during my brief visit to the 600 PP Suzuka races. I hate the lag of the conection, whereby the fellow racer looks to be behind where they actually are, and the accident was most certainly caused because of it.

That would be him... rupo8. The guy who pushed me. Saw him swipe ADIDAZ off the road on a previous race, after he did something else to me in every race... 🤬 idiot

Yep thats him!.. I just raced with him in again and he just rammed me offtrack again and whoever else was in his way .. I caught up and punted him a few times again for his downright cheek to attack me race after race :guilty: what a total asshole this guy is 👎 He was ramming everyone and anyone :crazy:

Went out of sync with you guys, but caught uk86ze. Literally. Sorry pall. That bump on Degner was not intentional. But one moment you are one car length ahead, the other I was on your rear bumper. My slow connection sometimes plays these tricks on me...

Great fun still... you ona Integra, and I'm still learning the ropes in the Z, and we keep finishing 1-2.👍

The blue subaru that's Rupo08, he rammed me every race I had with him, I know what you mean it's starting to *#$* me off.

burnout you weren't holding me up I was having a bad night, especially with Rupo08 in just about every race I had.

Sorry if I knocked any of you guys off.
 
I would like to apologize to everyone who was waiting for the suzuka track to be free for racing ;), as I, uk86ze and McGyver were wasting time in the finish line just messing around for 10 mins :):):)

Drama Kyd, i didnt mean to pass you on that race you quit out of, i was going to give you a bump, but at the last sec realized we were to close to the breaking zoze and just dove right. i figured i'd plow into the sand but managed to keep it on the black.

EDIT: I take that back. GTP doesn't neccessarily mean clean. -_-. It's a shame. Ramming me into the opponent ahead of me for the S isn't nice.

He got me too. There was also another blue car (Impreza '05 I think) with a Polish driver (forgot his psn id) who was also on a ramming spree.

Anyway, sorry if I rammed anyone last night, I'm not the best driver and I was testing the Amuse/Opera 350Z. :)
