I exited the room without saving the three-wide!!! Ahhhhhh that would've made some good shots. I had just mentioned it too! Damn. Pfffffffff Fun driving tonite, folks. I'll see if I can get a few shots from the other replay I saved. Nice driving dsg. Killin it.

Thanks, I had just the right amount of beer tonight.

In other news, it appears that for some reason FR-S has a touch less PP. Bought all three new from the dealership, didn't change oil. If I mess with engine limiter all three cross from 192hp to 191hp at 99.7%. But gt86&brz lose one PP at 99.4%, where FR-S loses it at 99.8%. Makes sense, it's a Scion.

^ Dangit! Guess we'll have to do it again tomorrow night! :P

That can probably be arranged. I'd like to get a photo of all three cars parked somewhere nice to use as a thread photo. I should be on around the same time tonight. 👍

Kept it all in the bottle I hope. :scared:

I think I'd heard that before, but it's strange. My BRZ and GT86 were 382pp after nothing but an oil change which is why the room restriction was set to that, but I can change it to 381 so nobody feels like the FR-S is at a disadvantage.

I was fadin hard. Gotta work on that.

I'll have to check later to be sure, but I think that even with the 1PP difference the actual specifications are all the same. I will drive all three back to back and see what comes of it. I'll be sure to have a cup of tea first, though.

Do you have recent experience with shuffle ratios other than zero? I thought that the point of higher shuffle ratio was to even out racing after a few runs, so that faster driver would be getting slower cars. Now, in-game, 'slower cars' are likely to be defined by some formula, perhaps even straight PP level. Given how screwed up it is generally, does higher shuffle ratio do anything these days to make racing closer?

The higher the ratio, the bigger the difference in performance between cars as regards those who win or lose. The drivers who finished higher up get given slower cars, & vice versa, it's pretty much the same as it's always been. The fact the Shuffle racing is a little bit screwed up is actually what adds to the fun of it. For instance, if you do get a bogey car then it becomes a case of trying not to come last rather than trying to win, which in itself can be fun. :D

It all depends how you look at it; Shuffle for fun & you'll have fun, Shuffle to win, & you'll more often than not be disappointed. Ratios of 0, 1, or 2, tend to work best in most races, try it & see. 👍

Maybe that's something to think about in the future, but I don't think we need to worry about it right now. I think B is really on to something with the "Sci-yo-baru" series. We had a blast last night with only a few on track, when we fill the room, it's gonna be a ton of fun. Heck, I even turned on the PS3 earlier just to paint up my Sci-yo-baru's real nice. :D

Thanks for the vote of confidence sir. 👍 I'll be on this evening if you feel like some more action.

Don't think I can make it tonight, fellas. Fighting off a touch of the flu and as much as I hate to admit it, I think some sleep will do more good then racing will. :( I'll be around this weekend for sure.

Nope... Working.

Could possibly be around tonight if there's any activities going on.

I will not be round the PS3 until tomorrow evening, so I'll miss the afternoon festivities.

I may be on this evening, if I can stay awake. Started to fall asleep last night in an online lounge.

I usually presume that's a given. Either that or your nuts are dead. :dopey:

Saturday fun is usually around 3pm EST so our Euro Friends can join in. Looks like it will just be me and RDA. :scared:

I likely won't be around this evening, but if that changes I'll let you all know.

Unfortunately I cannot join you Saturday, as my mother is celebrating her 69th birthday...
