IF any lag mid race, it wasn't the wireless being turned on as I said, was purely to do with my bad upload, the room settings or this port shizzle you guys are talking about

Room settings are the same as previous season. I tried new settings out in the test races but found the settings i always used are still the best for everyone.

Yeah it was mid-late race when the lag started getting bad so i think we found the problem and that is to do with whoever stole your internet earlier then they should have. You might have to show them the back of your hand ;)

Hey rota
On my replay you started lagging midway point of lap 10 then cleared by end of lap 12..
I've not watched your whole replay .

Arie and jol are the ones you need to talk to .

na oni, if it did happen, they would have used my internet at like lap 28-30, not lap 10 or something, so it's not that man. No easy fix

It wasn't around lap 10 on my replay. You had very minor lag around lap 14 thats very minor it wouldn't cause any problems with close racing. Late race around 24 or so it turned really bad to the point where the whole field would just stay away from you.

Didn't notice any lag at the start for you rota, that was until i spun it. After that i played catch up.

Yeah we can't relie on replay's.
Only people who saw him lagging live can say that they saw him lagging .

Sorry to say but I will be unable to race from the 13th of May to the 27th of May as my son will be in hospital for 2 weeks. If a wildcard can fill in for Ying Yang it would be great

Family first mate, hope everything is ok with your son. Means my car will start the race without damage for once

Moon, Doesn't sound good mate. Hope that the hospital take real good care of him so he can be back home ASAP. I'll see if I can find or recruit a temp driver to fill in at Monza and Madrid (or whatever track Oni decides to replace it with).

Red, Thanks for the target times mate. 9 cars x 2 laps each is a fair effort. I did have a go in the GTR last night for a few laps and was still a little off your lap time in the end. Suspect that I've set my top speed too high.

Tait, I see what you did there?! :sly:

That's not good mate. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery. Take all the time you need away from the ORS. Family and Real life commitments should always come first.

Will wait for your triumphant return.

Illd happy fill in :)

Lost - No problem mate i'll pencil you in for the dates that Moon is away.

Sorry to hear also moon didn't read post properly had just woken up. Best wishes on a good recovery mate. Cheers oni.

Once again great video Oni!!! I've pretty much just watched it from start to finish. Covered all the action as good as any professional production crew could do.

Close call between Evan and Mr T!? Mick did well to avoid Jol. Rota's lag doesn't looks so bad when you are not driving in fear of being lag smacked. :scared:

Awesome battle between Oni and Toiv. Lost count the number of times you guys swap position. I like how you gave your pit crew the celebration horns as you cross the finish line mate!!! 👍

Awesome Video Oni...Really nice use of the angles as well in that close call with Ev and Mr T as Arie said. Great battles between you and Toiv and I like how you focused on catching some of the oh 🤬 moments. Top effort.

ORS GT | SEASON 1 | PRE RACE BRIEFING

Round 5 we head to France around the famous 24 hour Circuit de la Sarthe for a 17 lap race.

ORS_GT_S1_R5_zps2f588410.jpg

The ORS white line rule applies at all times during qualifying and racing. If you are found to be cutting corners consistently or frequently then you will be penalised by the stewards. Penalties can range from point deductions, 1 race bans and up to disqualifications from the entire ORS GT season 1. Ensure you have read all the rules in the opening post (page 1).

Regarding pit exit you cannot cross the pit exit line when exiting the pits. Please use common sense when you merge onto the racing line. Remember the car behind has right of way when you exit the pits. You may enter the pit at speed without incurring a penalty.

The pit lane opens 1 lap earlier around Circuit de la Sarthe, therefor the following applies to Circuit de la Sarthe only;
- Pit lane opens end of lap 3 for first tyre compound change
- Pit lane closes with 4 laps to go for last tyre compound change

If you do have an off be wary of the reduced grip level once you've rejoined the track. Also when rejoining, please aware of your position on the track relative to your fellow races. Drivers rejoining the track must give way to race traffic and not become an obstruction.

You must ensure your car is set to the ORS GT Specifications as shown on page 1 before scrutineering begins. Once scrutineering has started you are prohibited from entering the tuning screen. Failure to comply will result in an immediate -15 point penalty each time you enter the tuning screen. Failing after race scrutineering will incur a -25 point penalty.

The following drivers need to ensure they are carrying the below ballast for Monday night.

Oni_chan - 35kgs (1315kg)
TT-R_Toivo - 25kgs (1395kg)

Failure to comply can results in 1 race bans to removal from the series.

Also I'd like everyone to be aware that the chat channel should not be used during the race as this can cause distractions to other drivers. If you make a mistake and need to apologize for it then i suggest you PM those involved. The chat channel should only be used by stewards to call race restarts.

Now finally all drivers must make sure they submit their tyre choice for qualifying/race start by 11:59pm tonight. Once your tyre choice has been submitted you cannot change it.

Regards,

Oni
ORS Committee

hmmmmm........... So, exiting the track and entering the pit lane at "Warp 9", and there by forcing the 'B' spec driver to cut across the grass instead of following the lloonngg pit lane slalem course is ok?
It never used to be. O_o

Cacsy.

P.S. Medium Fries and a Large Coke, thanks.

Correct, it used to be, if you DO cut across the grass because you drove in to quick would incur a penalty?

Nothing was said about allowing you to cut the grass or any white lines. Just that you can enter at "speed" doesn't say how much. Your welcome to go as fast as you can without cutting the line and not having your b-spec reset.

If you have empty seats I want to register

Sorry mate the series is limited to Australian and New Zealand drivers only.
