mediums please. Also the briefing says:

The following drivers need to ensure they are carrying the below ballast for all 3 sprint races Monday night

I am assuming its an error considering its 1 race not 3 sprint races?

Hards for me please.

Anyone else have some lap times for everyone to compare and check their pace against???

Hey rota, on mediums the SLS did a 2.00.428 last night followed by consistent laps of 2.00.6 to 2.00.8. then a drop to 2.01.4 when tyres were getting bug gered.

I think Team Mercedes AMG might be in for a good race up front MrT

Med for me, i'm lucky to get below the high 2.01s so judging by rotas pace I've got no chance.

judging by rotas pace I've got no chance.
You never know Jol when there's sand in play. Just one slight error at the wrong time (at one of the sand pits) and seems to take about two months to dig yourself out.

Ill be at thr back with you jol. My times aren't so good atm. Ill be starting on hards for tonights race. Good luck all.

I think it sounds like the SLS boys have got their car sorted for this track! but as you say jas, its so easy to come off here takes about 20 to 30 seconds to pull yourself out of the sand, going to be an interesting race :)

I'll be joining you on hards Lost. The best time i managed in the Viper was a 2:00.471 on mediums and a 2:03.040 on Hards. There is definitely a possible 1:59 high on the mediums as i have been up on my first split a few times by half a second but failed to pull the lap together.

**** oni u beast lol. I best do some more laps car just doesn't feel as comfy in the first sector as i would like it to. Do need to fine tune some tweaks tho.

I'd suggest you talk to Toiv. He has that Aston doing wonders last night. He could almost match my first split. What he lost in the first split he made up in sector 2. He was doing consistent 2:00.6xx on the mediums. I think he'd be able to get it lower. He has the car so well hooked up around spoon. If he sorts out sector 1 he will be a rocket that nobody could stop.

Haha, Yea but I've got to keep it on the track as well. Just doesn't seem hooked up at this track and I can't seem to get good pace through the high speed 200R. Anything can happen, good luck all tonight.

Trouble with 200R??? whats happening there? can't go flat towards spoon??? :S or are you talking about 130R?

Yeah maybe the one after spoon just before the chicane onto the front straight. I'm not good with the corner names. I need some front aero Haha.

Haha yeah 130R, I struggle to carry speed through there too, I have been AIMING to cut it, and the car normally just nicks the ripple haha a MILE off from cutting haha, just going to be hard to maintain hitting that apex every lap. AT LEAST there is some sort of run off area there unlike many other corners that have a sand pit with taital and his plastic shovels building a castle laughing at the rest of us while we plough into the kitty litter with him

Yeah must be an AWD thing then I'm doing the same thing, aiming to cut over the ripple strip but missing it as the front end just pushes wide.

I've limited my testing around Suzuka because its not a good track for me, the more testing i do, the more I get over the track and with a race lasting 90mins I don't want to be bored before qualifying.

I'll use my hards early to get a grove in to the race, I have packed me shovel and pale as I'm expecting numerous trips to bondi tonight lol

The best I can do is 2.02.5xx followed by a 2.09.xxx no consistency

I shred the tyres in about 10 laps, Hards are undrivable, cars likes to back into the corners and get sideways out of them, not expecting a podium finish unless 13 other driver have really shocking drives:grumpy:

Edit; oops got that wrong

Wow ure a full minute nearly ahead of the feild lol. Just playing round coz u hit 1 instead of 2

I'd be better off just fitting dirt tyres to my car and just drive from F##king sandtrap to sandtrap.

The latest round at Suzuka almost went to plan for myself. Started on mediums and got a good start to jump ahead of Asuka to take 3rd into turn 1.

Managed decent enough pace while managing the tires with an Audi and Jol racing off ahead. Asuka could not find his way past only alongside and then we passed Jol who was in the sand at spoon. All was well until I ran wide into spoon slightly which let both Asuka and Jol past.

Continuing on with trying to make the tires last, I pit on lap 13 for a second set of mediums and continued on my merry way, picking up Jol not too long after the pitstop. Near the end of the second set of mediums I was caught by Rota and Jasr at separate times and both times when I moved wide to allow them more room I went TOO wide and spun off lol.

This wasn't too bad and I pit for Softs at the end of lap 25. I figured a strong run to the finish would see me almost get 6th or 7th judging by the cars ahead of me that I was gaining on.

I caught up to Lost on lap 29 but when I tried to get along side at the end of the corner just before spoon, Lost's car moved to the outside of the track as it normally would at the exit of a corner and I had to move wider to avoid touching him, which of course put me into the grass and I went straight through spoon and the sand into the wall.

The Lambo was undrivable but I suppose kind of luckily it had not yet been 4 laps so I could put another Soft set on and set about catching one of the Fords and then Lost before 200R on the last lap when he ran out of fuel.

So I guess I wasted my change to use my Softs for a top position, but I was proud that I managed to save the tires quite well and not lose too much ground.

Congratulations to Oni for the win and all others for the great race.

Well Done Oni and Toiv for taking 1st and 2nd spots!!!

Unfortunately I couldn't beat the Murcialago into the 1st corner and was forced to follow. This was Ok by me as Hatz was mainting a decent pace until I started to sense that Lambo's tyres were starting to give way. That's when I started to stick my nose along side to force a bit of pressure. However, that evil Spoon corner took many victims last night. Thankfully I wasn't one of them.

What made it difficult for me was the fact that there was a bit of lag from other cars around so most times I was forced to keep my distance in fear of erratically jumping cars. Actually there was a lot of lag from Rota. Not sure how I got passed him in the end actually. A few times at the final chicane he would literally be doing 1080 spins while simultaneously jumping on and off track. Bloody fooled me mate with his "SOFTS ACTIVATED" line?!

I was really hoping that my wild card softs would allow Godzilla to take a home win but Oni/Toiv were just way too quick. I was reeling you guys in big time once I got past Rota as over the last few laps as I was shredding my tyres big time in a last ditch effort.

I was hoping that the "Clash of the Titans" Oni and Toiv battling it out big time up front would slow them down enough for me to catch them on my softs. I thought I had the chance to take 2nd spot as it appeared Toiv got into some trouble on the last lap at Spoon.

But I still wasn't close enough to capitalise. Not sure if results would have been any different if we didn't lose those 2 laps. Guess we will never know?!

Bad luck to Ying Yang White on being booted. Team Ying Yang Racing are NOT looking forward to Le Sarthe next week.

Thanks for a good race all!!!

I know what your talking about Arie. Last night as i was doing the points and tyre checks i watched Rota and you. I really don't know how you got by with lag that bad. I dare say it cost you a shot at 1st or 2nd due to having to stay away from him.

Rota you will need to figure out what is causing that as its been like that for almost every race. While its not bad when your out in front it is a problem when lapping cars or in a case like this a driver is trying to push through the field and is unable to due to the fear of getting critical damage by being near you. As it is causing problems for alot of drivers i'll need you to sit the races out if you can't resolve it.
