I don't think there's a way I could pull out after that speech. Put JFK to shame with that one mate...
I'll have another fiddle with LSD settings, but I spent about 3-4 hours on Monday trying to fix the amount of Oversteer I was getting with suspension setup and found nothing after the tyre was 50% worn. I just couldn't drive properly, and I wasn't enjoying it at all. I was having to concentrate to heavily on trying to keep the car on the road, which I don't particularly like to be honest. I've tried it numerous times, didn't enjoy it once.
I'll see how I go if we can get a test race organised. I'm not looking to improve or be challenged, I do that enough every day, I'm just looking to have fun, and if I can't do that, I won't find the motivation. I'm not going to sit here and lie to you, I'm not looking forward to 40 laps on Monday if the tyre and car is as crap as it's been when I've been trying to find setup for me. You can't push at all, and it feels for me like all you're doing is trying to keep the thing on the road.
When I signed up, there was not the slightest indication of the race being handicapped, something I'm not fond of, and the way we've handicapped it, IMO, is not the correct way to do it. So the conditions of the raced changed and my dilemma is whether it's going to be worthwhile for me.
Anyway, I'm not looking to have a whinge, I'm just voicing my concern, I don't want to rock up on Monday and ruin a good series, If I'm there, I'll be there 100%, and if I'm not I would want to give you guys as much notice as possible so you can get 16 guys in there, it's poor form to do anything otherwise.
Again, not trying to bitch, but surely you can appreciate where I'm coming from.
Anyway, Sorry for the long reply, I'm easy for any day, just not to late at night, and as Xerx said, not when Qually is on
