I wasnt even aware I hit Rota or blocked you, as I was too busy trying to correct the situation and I am a poor multi tasker, to be honest, no need for appology even If it happened, as an appology would be a kick in the face to an already ruined lap that you cant get back, a racing incident. Don't worry, because you cant beat me on the track, you try and beat me with words, typical childish behaviour.

I know you're faster than me, and you're faster than most people, but there is something that we have that you don't, and it's called A LIFE!! You sit on that game all day long, and what do you have to show for it, you're faster than a 16 year old who's been playing his first simulator ever for the past 6 months. You're like twice my age, and you spend more than twice as long on this game, and you played prolouge, yet you're only 1-2 tenths a lap faster than me? Ahahaa that's actually funny.

There's something call a 'pit-lane' .. Which when drove into it 'fixes' your damage :indiff:

EDIT: I've told you before.. These are relaxed races in which we can call each other mates without spitting. However :
Is kinda sending the wrong message and your driving ethnics are actually p***ing a lot of people off...

Everyone has to follow the same rules... and not apologising when your clearly in the wrong is frowned upon..

It's something called 'respect' ... Something that is worth more than 1st place.

/end

No, Stig was in the wrong so I am trying to highlight the behaviour he was enacting on that particular occasion, he was clutching at straws when what he should have been focussed on was the track, and not the faint possibility that I might have been taking a corner slightly dirty by 5-10 cm.

I was following you to see your lines because you were faster than me, and you were using the grass glitch, that's when I noticed.

The problem i found with quali at Grand Valley East is the track isn't that big and to have 16 cars on the track at the same time was a pain to find free track space, in saying that i try my best to get out of the way of oncoming traffice and i'd appreciate if other drivers did the same.

If you look at professional drivers they don't drive full stink when they leave pit line, they don't go full speed till about 2 corners from the start/finish line, i adapt this theory as i try to drive very professionally.

I hold grudges, if you stuff my race or quali lap (seriously i rarely get a good lap), i will put it in the memory bank and it will come back to haunt you. :-)

Now that explains it, your just a teenager with a chip on your shoulder thinking you can call a grown adult a 🤬, great way to respect elders, and to respect people that are faster than you and that you can possibly learn from, you dont know ANYTHING about my life, nor do I about yours, I do not play more than you and or much more than you, certainly not MORE THAN TWICE AS MUCH AS YOU, your comments may look strong but they are subtly very very weak and c-through ish, I can see your personality for what it really is now, a cocky little brat.

You guys need to adopt the communications theory we are using in Korea

STFU - we all know what it means.

Outsiders reading this thread are reading childish bickering, now whilst i love a good bicker a lot of the time, i find myself skipping through all the whinging to find it anyone posted relevant information.

Being overseas im currently an outsider and i love to know what's happening, but all im reading is whinging.

Who cares about age we are all playing the same game, who cares who plays more, who cares who says what. If you have a problem with it, block them or just get out.

Series whinge;

You all know the rules Oni has set for qualifying, don't get angry when he says your times not valid as u got it after the set qualifying time. Until GT5 lets you set a timeframe for 'freetime' to treat it as proper session without set race start times, we all have to live by the rules stated when you asked to join. Same with leaving circuit, shut up and do it what's the problem with it?

Good one tait, now for the 874983264934 time, whats your g+!? lol i want to discuss your korean trip with you without taking up even more of this thread. lol

There is/was a lot of slow chatting in here. Please keep to the topic.

Hahahahaha:tup:. Now some triva for everyone to ensure you can get the Spa track pack. If you aren't using your CC on the PSN due the whole security fail earlier this year, you can always get a PSN Gift Card instead. You can find them at JB HiFi or EB Games in $30 and $50 denominations...Gee starting to sound a little like an advertisment, sorry bout that :indiff:

Cool that you say that because just today there's news of some more PSN accounts having been hacked. So I was trying to work out options on how to buy DLC.

Thanks for the tip 👍

Hey thanks for the tip mate, your right on it; I won't be using CC or DC to get the DLC. I will definitely be scoping out the local EB's offerings in the next few days. Thanks again mate.;)👍

EDIT:
Whats the deal with this series?
Can I join or is it too late?

Hey Tizz!:D It would be great to race you again mate; the more original GT5P drivers we can get back on track the better!:)

Hey thanks lads, interesting they only do $30 and $50 cards...if PD where really on maximum attack they'd have specific GT5 DLC cards out on the shelves with a free limited edition GT5 Spa styles poster for the shed/office wall or whatever with it...Hopefully the latest security hack doesn’t cascade into something more serious…:ouch:

So today they had the F1 track inspection day, i'm working along the straight from 2 to 3. and the cars are going full clappers past me, the SLS 10 safety car sounds nice but the medical merc just hurts your ears!

P1 and P2 tomorrow!

haha Nice taital, i gave up watching prac, couldnt get a steady stream.

Boys im really keen to run a pp room tonight in about an hour, and much lower pp than usual, looking at like 350-450 pp, and then later on a few good ol' Calsonics at tokyo, also have created a few tight tracks for the calsonic high boost races ;)

So look out for the room if your keen

Sounds like you living bro. Good to see your going to have houses to vent all that GT5 race frustration on.. hahaha.

Take your time getting back mate. Jol has been standing in for you and doing a good job.

Just remember GT5 got updated and its 1.7gigs. So when you get your net you going to have to download that to play online.

Long story short, I might not be able to make the race tonight.

Long story long, I picked up a Logitech G27 almost a week ago, and all was well in the land of clutch and gated-shifter goodness.

Until earlier tonight when I noticed that the wheel was shifting its calibration off centre during gameplay,
so I unplugged and plugged back in to recalibrate, and once again all was well.

But a couple of laps later the same problem developed, noticeably off centre this time.

After doing some research, I believe that the optical sensor wheel inside the unit is slipping on the shaft.
Meaning that it is registering that the wheel is further to the left than it actually is, which would also explain why it rights itself temporarily when you unplug and plug back in, and why it shifts further the longer you use it.

Apparently this is quite a common problem that Logitech hasn't fixed even on their latest batch of G27's.
I read stories of people on their 5th replacement wheel with the same problem still occurring.

So I suppose I could ask for a refund, or get a replacement, or take it apart, which would void the warranty, and glue the optical sensor wheel to the shaft and hope that was the problem.

Sigh... anyone have any ideas? 💡
