It doesn't matter Wilco , the points remain the same no matter what. It was just something that had been on my mind and I'm sure it has happened to others many , many times. I didn't bring it up specifically in light of that race , just a thought that was tacked onto the end of a post.
Mick , I really hope you can get in on Monday night. If it comes down to it , I'll sit it out and you can have the wildcard spot. These are great cars to race and SS5 is a great course.

Currently for Monday nights race i need wildcards to replace the following
Small_Fryz
THE_CATMAN
Rotamasta
So Mic and Spin are 2 i just need 1 more for Fryz.
Also as i haven't heard from Fryz or Catman i will be removing them from the series and considering 2 full time spots.

if you need me, please PM the colour/car that i need. i understand the 8:30pm, Monday qualifying time etc and i am fine with that.
I aint a good driver, i am more of a casual driver but i understand clean driving etc. so be aware before you want me to race in your team!

sorry boys, gonna have to bow out of this series.. my connection is too unreliable... another massive lag spike saw taital rear end me (not his fault obviously), then two corners later I was in the wall thanks to another spike... Thankfully taital didnt cop any damage as a result.. I hope telstra gets their **** together when they upgrade my exchange... sad to go, but better than ruining someone elses race.. I mean, just watching the race now im seeing lag spikes and warps galore.. :-) have a good season guys... hopefully see you for the next one when my connection gets sorted
I thought I'd fixed my net issues by bypassing the router, but alas this is not the case.
I joined a random lobby after the failed attempts to join Oni and Taital's lobbies, and had the same problem.
The loading bar is halfway down, I can't access the garage or anything, and although the track appears to have loaded, I can't hear or see any cars on the track in the main lobby screen.
If I try to exit from there it freezes and I have to reset the PS3.
It's either that or the old "Incompatible with room host" message.
I'll have to get someone around who knows alot better than me about these sort of problems, and see if I can get it fixed, but for now I'll have to retire from the series until I get this sorted, hopefully by next week if my driver spot is still open.

My race was ruined when I copped a lovely delay that the start putting me last, I tried to avoid the carnage at the start but got some engine damage. So I was just lapping for points until I kept hitting the wall at the dog-leg chicane. Decided to retire when the field was about to lap me...
Now I've said this a couple of times and I'll probably get ignored (as usual). But why not TRIAL a public room to see how it holds up, title it "invite only" and see how it goes.
Public rooms seem to have more 'stable' connections.. As they probably get the dedicated servers you where talking about before the race.

Yeah blame goes to taital this time unfortunately.. my replay shows cj smooth as butter but when taital reaches the hairpin he goes warp speed and hits the wall the warps into cj while he making the turn and CREAMS poor cj into the wall.
Not sure what happening lately.. i would guess its due to the holiday season there are more people on the net.. (teenagers on facebook) causing problems.
I did a speed test on myself and got 15.5mb download and 0.87 upload.

Yeah I just watched the replay I went passed taital on lap 3 at the hairpin then a corner later he's passed me glitching big time

I had the same delay at the start Wayne. No countdown , I just saw people take off ! Then a little lag from the guys in front of me at turn 1 so I kept my distance , Jas had to back off too , but unfortunately it appears Ev couldn't see Jol and drove him straight into Jas. wayne then got caught up in all the mess.
Such a glitchy night , aside from peoples personal connection probs , the whole network seems to have been shagged tonight.
I'll be back in mid jan guys ,might catch the last race I think ?
