It says 2:20.914 on mygranturismo. I'll see what I can do tomorrow :)

edit: Denmark is better than Sweden :(. I'm Rank 32 and 3rd best with a pad in Sweden.

Pretty sure that was a .906  but I can't be bothered to check back.

It really depends on what you mean by "best". If "best" means faster DS3 users, maybe. Otherwise, I really don't know :)

After my earlier post, I hopped on for a few runs. I managed a 2:21:501. Half a second faster than my previous best, still with plenty of room for improvement. I know where I'm going wrong, but trying to get the power down after certain corners is one of my biggest problems. Luffield, in particular.

Looks like I won't be giving up after all.

I hit the wall at 2.19.9xx, but thats before I turn active steering to strong, way better to put power down early, ABS 1, everything else off.

Now I'm at 2.19.290, 2nd off the pads in Portugal,23rd general and with room for improvement.

Try the active steering at strong and You will improve your times, just make a few laps to get used to it. (It feels akward at the begining)

2.23.943 for now - feels like I can only manage to remove about 0.600 of my time.... But for now, I'm content with the time I've set, considering the amount of time I've put into it... But respect to you who is under the 2.20's!!!! Can't see where and how I would find the secs to reach such time....

Just found out that with TC at 0 i can predict and control my slides a lot better 💡
With the TC on it seemed way harder and the car was more twitchy.

Is this realistic car behaviour in real life, that once you go into a slide with TC on it's harder to control than if you disable it completely?... seems a bit odd.

@kekke, you were right, it was a .914.. Don't ask me how I figured it was .906. But neither of them matter: 2:20.771, with a possibility to get at least 1 tenth quicker (that's about the time I always lose in the second sector)

I'm not even sure I could manage a 2:20.999.
2:20.771 seems far fetched for my red ds3, It took me many laps to shave my 2:21.286 down to 2:21.111

In this case you'll love to know that I'm now down to 2:20.608. I've reached that point where whatever I do is slower  but yes, it certainly does take some practise to get really fast lap times, especially with the wing that's good for absolutely nothing :)

Congrats 👍 My goal is to get below 2:20.0
Funny thing is when at first you see these times (like 2:20 even), you think that would be impossible to do, until you realize that you can take this and that corner faster if you adjust your technique and you shave another 0,500 of that time.

I totally gave up on GT the past year; but i gotta admit even if it's only the eternal time trial thing again i'm quite hooked on this GT6 demo :D

Yeah, I was stuck for a while trying to get past silver then something just clicked and I went much faster.

I hate when that happens, but man, that time is pretty quick. But you need to shave second or two out of that to get to the top guys. 3 seconds here, PD has to give pad users a credit lol

Dpad and (x) for gas and ([]) for brakes. Finally managed Gold but i just don't want to invest a lot of time into this. However, i enjoy it a lot

Be sure to post how you get along after you get used to the wheel, interesting to see if it does make that much of a difference :)

Absolutely. A controversial subject! :)

BTW 2:21.9 with DS3 (Rank me 731th regional and 9218th Global for now)

Still not completely used to it but I'm getting more comfortable after each race. Just letting you know I haven't forgotten. 👍

Finally, connected a good lap, 2:22.822. Thought I wouldn't come under 2:23, so next objective is under 2:22...! As of now I'm 100th regional and in the top bla bla 14443th on the world rank :-D

2.20.995 in Sweden

Was ranked 29th yesterday, and 4400 world wide.

Don't know how that is today though...

I could get it down to 2.19.9xx I'm sure.

I have 2:19:114 ATM. But i think I can shave another 0,5s of that time :)

Best DS3 time in Portugal :) and 24º overall

Sheesh, all of you are crazy good. I was relieved to final get a gold using the pad - took me a day or three though :)

Here's to all of you aliens out there on Roswell's 66th anniversary 👍

So, you're the one I'm aiming for. I'm 2nd DS3 time in Portugal, 28º overall with 2.19.266. I think we got a race going on now!!!👍

Edit: 2.19.237
