First Porsche pack should be during October, XB1 patch probably next week.

It should have been in September, so I'm sceptical of anything coming this month now too. To my knowledge, there's been no official statement about the delay, only Marco's Facebook post mentioning October.

Traditionally ms patches were always about a week later than sony.

Some settings values have changed after 1.03 update.
The cursor stay at the same place so it don´t change the previous setting at all.
For example the ferrari 312T change those values:

engine limiter / toe / arb / bump / rebound and needed to be edited.

Only sharing an important information, a friend told me that the numbers on my cars are not matching anymore and i didn´t see anything about it on the web, so here it is.
Still around as a lurker, Assetto corsa for sure, PS4, a great game , Kunos did a great job with the physics, they deserve a good support to make some progress with the rest.

Is very easy ridiculous easy? Reason for asking is that some race i had hard time achieve 3th place on easy, but on very easy, i had to wait 1 min 20 seconds before all cars was over the finish line.

They've got really bad straight line speed on very easy, but not as noticeable through the corners. Having to wait in the pits for everyone to finish is not a good design choice and hopefully they'll change it soon.

hahaha agree, i had to wait 1 minute and 20 seconds in the pit on very easy.

On easy? i had no chance on easy before the patch, i haven't tried it after the update yet, i wonder what Kunos re-balanced...

Here are my thoughts about the patch.
Technically, the game has been improved. Frame rate seems rock-soild and there is no tearing at all. Nice.

There have been some minor tweaks that were not mentioned in the patch log. If you do a GT-class race, the AI won't choose the Praga R1 anymore. Putting this car in the GT-class was a weird decision to begin with because it is not a GT3 car and its not competitive. Instead of the Praga, the AI will now choose a random GT3 or GT2/GTE car.

Of course, the AI behavior and difficulty is the most important aspect about the patch. I noticed that the AI will do mistakes now, at least more often than before. I also noticed that they won't attack in such an aggressive manor like they did before. I guess it is also possible now to bring them off track. All that is fine.

With the very easy and easy setting, it's possible to progress in the career mode now. Honestly i wasn't able to complete the SLS events before but now these were fun and not a big deal.

HOWEVER. AI balancing is still far from perfect. I think that the "normal/medium" difficulty after the patch is pretty much the "easy" setting before the patch. At "normal/medium", AI behavior is challenging for a casual player and believable. In the new "easy" setting, i would say that the AI isn't driving natural, realistic or professional. They loose too much speed at straights, which makes zero sense. They're also breaking way too soon.

I did some laps at the Nürburging Endurance Cup track (GP and Nordschleife). On "Easy", i'm able to beat the AI with a clean lap. On "normal/medium", the fastest AI driver beats me by 30 to 40 seconds per lap. That's one mighty gap. Instead of the unnecessary "very easy" or "alien" setting, Kunos should have put some kind of option between "easy" and "normal", but... oh well.

All of this could have been avoided easily by just including the AI difficulty setting of the PC version.

For the next patch, i'm hoping for the Showroom feature (Porsche!), the ability to watch a whole race in replay and more options for the player. I would like to choose every AI divers car, for example. You can do that on PC.

No. I have to admit i'm not the best driver on Nordschleife. I need more practice there, but even when i get the feeling that i have done a good lap, the AI crushes me. Of course, this only applies on the Nordschleife, because of the length of the track and it's difficulty. Real-life GT3s manage to do 7:54 at the full circuit, the AI manages times around 8:10 at "medium" in a GTE, i struggle with 8:40... oh well! On "easy" qualifying, the AI is somewhere between 8:40 and 8:55... But they loose a couple of seconds because instead of completing their hot lap on the straight, the AI heads into the pits... *faceplam @ AI behaivor"

On the whole it's much better, but there's a certain stuttering present. It's similar to Forza Apex on PC by all accounts. I watched an ISRTV video where his frame counter was locked at 60 but the game had moments of stuttering still. It's a strange one.

I think i'd be around the 8:40 mark too there but not sure, need to check it out again. If so 8:10 is indeed way too fast for 'medium'. I have the AI at 93% on the PC version and i'm able to keep up with them there.

Kunos is ready. The DLC release is now in the hands of Sony and Microsoft as the stores are updated on a weekly basis.

You didn't have to buy the season pass before the 1st DLC is confirmed as being out. I'm definitely a season pass buyer but I haven't purchased it yet because there was no point just yet. I guess they've enabled it because that was one checkbox they could tick easily.

You were not conned, you just got caught in an inevitable complex process involving a number of companies and protocols. Nothing special there.

Some races is now ridiculous easy on very easy and other races is hard on very easy, quick race McLaren MP4-12C on Mugello on very easy is hard, i never saw the car who won I'm using controller and automatic gear, is it the automatic gearbox that is the problem or is the AI still very unbalanced?

I think i give up...

Quick race Mercedes SLS AMG on Imola is as hard it was before this update, i can't achieve 3th place on very easy, like i couldn't before this update when i tried on easy .

And i give up...

The difficult level is unbalanced or the automatic transmission is not working properly or maybe both.

I haven't played this game for a month, because i waited for the AI difficulty re-balance, the last race was the Mercedes SLS AMG on Imola and i tried again today on very easy, but the AI is still too fast, at least for me.
The Assetto Corsa is clearly not for me with a controller, so i deleted it from my hard drive... i wonder when i will learn not to pre-order games .

I do have to agree that the lack of clarity surrounding the DLC and car packs for this game have been annoying at best. I felt more than annoyed when I selected the RX7 after the patch and it gave me no path to drive it. Same can be said for GTR, Vette, M4 since the start. Really dumb.

Fortunately, I followed these threads closely enough that I knew better than to buy the season pass. The fact that people have been able to buy that for so long and still get absolutely nothing for it at time of purchase is absurd. It should have unlocked the prestige pack for those without it and given the GameStop guys an extra car or something.

Really? I am fully award of my options, The problem is Kunos advertised and collected on an exchange that isn't ready for delivery, and that is foul. We all know the Porsche Pack is A future DLC, that is not my issue.

The Japanese Pack should've been presented and advertised to PS4 owners as A Pre-order or some type of disclosure to indicate Download is pending on Sony confirmation.

I have never experienced this type of exchange, nor do I want to ever experience it again, So I am just making my opinion known on this forum. To Kunos, and Sony and any other unexpected member on this forum.

Still not played the game since the patch dropped, but the biggest thing needed in the next patch in my mind are "Private Lobbies" without a doubt! 👍 It's fun driving around, hot lapping, but i want to do private lobbies with my friends, with any car/track combo, this is a must, surely!?!?

And the thing with the DLC, Kunos should have done what SMS did with the monthly DLC packs for Pcars, and that's given a release date for each DLC, that way no dissapointment for people who assumed the DLC was out when the patch showed up last Thursday, and for the cars showing up in the in game menu, but not available to drive still.

If A member doesn't know the Japanese Pack is still unavailable for Download and use after the 1.03 Update with the Season Pass purchased, then my post may help them.

I want to make sure they all have full disclosure, because I didn't. It wasn't stated on the Sony Store. In my opinion the Season Pass should never have been for sale on the Sony Store until after all the formalities concerning previously released Kunos DCL's were complete between Sony and Kunos. (So that excludes the Porsche Pack)

This is poor business practice on Sony and Kunos, and you guys just carry on in their defense as if this is acceptable business practice.

This is A mess! If an item is on sale and money is exchanged, The consumer shouldn't have to do research to confirm product availability that is insane. You guys must have mad stock in Kunos Simulazioni and Sony.

I love Sim Racing too, but there is no excuse for this type of business practice.

Season Pass gives you access to a specified set of DLC packs. It doesn't actually state when the packs will arrive.

What I don't understand is why waiting a week more than you hoped for a DLC pack is such an issue....
