It's off Wiki so take it with a grain of salt, but it said he owned & modified the R34 in 2F2F before the movie began and did most of the stunts with it. Sounded far fetched til' I saw the video of him in Japan visiting Mine's.

Edit* Apparently, there is a video someone just uploaded moments after the crash now?

Yeah, someone in a blue M3. I cant tell if there is a bicycle in the middle of the road.

I dont know if i can watch that video, the vision of him trapped helplessly in that fiery wreck just too much to handle for me, the guy was one of my fav.

I just got around to watching it. The guy pulls up to wreck & keeps being told to stay away or it may explode. You eventually hear a woman calling for 911 & saying she doesn't know if the driver is alive. Someone else comments, no, they're not. A lot of people seem to come to the conclusion that he & Rodas died upon impact.

Yeah it was taken by some people in a blue m3 traveling right behind him

I remember watching 2F2F and he had that Silver/Blue Skyline R34. That's what got me into Skylines. I enjoyed all the films, I just saw the beginning of FnF6 just for scene with him and Diesel going around that mountain. GT-Rs won't ever be the same.
RIP Paul

Thats really horrible, i can tell that from your description, it must be even more horrible watching it myself.

Gosh never knew i would react like this, he is like a friend even though i never meet him.

*on a side note, the first scene from FF7 has just been released, seeing him in the scene makes me sad :(

His pride and joys were a Cosworth Escort and BMW 2002. He also had a dealer license and what a businessman with aftermarket performance that specialized in Euro and Japanese cars so he was quite the Gear head.

Along with these there is this from Automobile I have the issue.

AM: What's in the Walker garage?
PW: A '67 Nova that Year One built, a '64 Impala, a '64 Malibu, a '64 Chevelle two-door wagon, a '64 Nova wagon, a '67 Nova wagon. I really want a double-nickel Chevy; that's coming soon. I've also been collecting BMWs. Remember the lightweight E36 M3? BMW brought sixty of them to the States, and I have seven of them. I have a Porsche GT3 RS 3.8. I'm on my fourth or fifth R34 Nissan Skyline.

Saddest part is said the studio green lighted FF8 and he was due to be in it and it was a guaranteed movie. So it contradicts what I said earlier in this thread about the 7th being the last. He talked about it only a week and a half ago sorry to make this more sad...but I guess it's hit me as hard as a racing driver when they die.

I'm actually looking on Ebay for it so I can buy it and save for my garage. 👍 I think I may do the same though, thanks for the inspiration.

Just found one that poster and put it in my Amazon cart. The poster is $25 plus shipping. Man, thinking of how Fast and Furious impacted my life. Astonishing.

Maybe you're confused with the yellow R33 that was driven by Leon in F&F1. That was the one crushed and wasn't owned by Walker.

I was aware of that one being crushed. What I must've forgotten was the conditions in which it was seized. Which after some looking around was what I was thinking of. The temporary importation and everything, staying too long to participate in Pikes Peak, yeah I thought that was the R34. My bad.

gosh, 5 R34s 7 M3s, the guy is awesome :(, yeah man i know how you feel right now. Guess we are in the same boat.

Wasn't a huge fan of the F&F films, but i still think he was a cool actor (did other films that were quite good). Very sad news. R.I.P to the both of them.

I'm truly heartbroken, Paul Walker shaped me into the person I am today, not only with his movie portrayal of Brian O'connor and the values he held close but his presence and attitude in real life.

He was always such a kind hearted and giving man - a truly great role model and I couldn't have asked for a better man to look up to in my youth.

Paul Walker is someone any gear head could aspire to be with pride, I know I certainly do.

Wow. Speechless for a second. I love cars. I love Paul Walker, but I just wish that these stars would just take responsibility with vehicles. There has been so many deaths through car crash and he's one to add to the list sadly.

Seemed like a genuine car lover.

R.I.P man.

Paul Walker was in the car with a Mate, who was driving. Paul was holding a Charity event with his Charity organisation Reach Out Worldwide, to help the people in Thailand who suffered from the typhoon. Taken too soon

Ironic, Porsches seem to claim the lives of those who enjoy cars the most. I'm very saddened by the news. I was already a car enthusiast but the F&F films hardened that feeling. Not to mention as others have posted his character off the screen was that of a role model. May he rest in peace.

Maybe i'm alone here but I can think of many instances when I was doing something in a car that if it had gone wrong I'd probably end up the wrong way. This is a sobering reminder but this is the risk some of us take as an enthusiast. They were going fast and this time something went wrong and there's nothing to do. No one knows yet how fast they were going but seemed fast enough.

Some of his collection along with a couple of the cars his company had for sale. Had great taste.
