Most of them are white and plain.

From what I so far have heard but it could just be made up internet crap.

He was at a charity thing an he was letting people drive his carrera GT.

And if it is the case that was a mistake, anyone who owns one of these cars should know how it drives and how much it takes to send it into a spin.

My sons and I are shattered to hear this. As soon as you see the photos you can see its a carrera GT, dry track just to much car for suburban streets & average drivers. And I know Paul wasn't the driver. Definatly watching F&F tonight.

It was a charity event, but the GT was co-owned by him and a local performance shop. The driver of the car at the time was the owner of the shop and also a professional racing driver in the Pirelli World Challenge (2013 was his rookie year for that series) and he did well racing Porsches the year before.

Some of his collection along with a couple of the cars his company had for sale. Had great taste.

I recognize that white R34 from his twitter, feels like just yesterday when i was amazed by it. He truly is someone a gear head could look up for. Most of the cars in the pic coincidentally are my favourites, especially the skyline and the GT3.

Anyone saw the Fast 7 funeral scene ? There is a black R32 which is no doubt Brian's car in the movie, i was really looking forward to see the movie since R32 is my favourite skyline and him driving it just makes it better, but now it makes me sad. God im overreacting...

Not really, I can't remember a celeb in recent history that has affected me this much. He, for many others as well, hardened my passion for cars. He was the car guy alot of people wanted to be. :\

Terrible terrible news :( , I appreciate his work in the movie bussiness may he RIP , I'm sure this has been mentioned but the Irony is not lost on the manner which he died.

Sad day.

Thank You Paul

It may be ironic but it's not suprising at all. He was a true car guy. I'm sure besides his work and his family (fast)cars were his passion.

Thanks man, its real good knowing im not the only one feeling like this. The dude really hardened my passion for GTRs in general, when i heard the news, i feel like i'm losing someone that i look up to, a guy who i always want to meet and befriend, i really dont see him as an actor but i look him up more as someone who introduced great cars, mainly the Skyline GTR. I will never look at Skyline GTRs the same way again, more emotion attached to the cars now.

I never realized that was part of his collection and that he was a part of AE Performance. I remember seeing a video of it posted on TheSmokingTire.

I got onto Autoblog only about an hour ago and saw the news on the front page. Was shocked by the news and almost felt a bit of denial thinking about it... So sudden and so soon. Though I would not say that the F&F films were great, they were very enjoyable and a series I always found myself coming back to despite small distastes I had. Difficult to imagine what would happen to the series...

Still remember watching the video of him visiting Mine's tuning shop in Japan.

Gutted about this,

Loved the F&F series, seen him in swimming with sharks too and seemed a real nice guy.

Devastating for his family.

RIP Paul

Rip Roger Rodas The driver of the car Ceo of AE preformance
Rip Paul walker the guy who started my addiction to Skylines and supras

Wow... coming home to this news just sucks! :( Roger Rodas was an up and coming road racer who was doing a great job in the Pirelli World Challenge this year. RIP Roger Rodas, have blast on Heaven's Road Course. :(

Now on to Paul Walker... He was a dad, a major gearhead, a good actor, and from what a lot of people say, a damn nice guy. The first two Fast and Furious movies are two movies that I can sit through, and have no care in the world about what was going on. How Walker bounced off of Vin Diesel in F&F1 and how he did same with Tyrese in F&F2, was something else. RIP Paul Walker may you cruise down Heavenville's Streets in that R34 of yours. :(

Man, this is sad news to hear. Paul Walker was a great man, a car enthusiast, generous and a humble guy you want as a great friend. From looking at his car collection, the BMWs, Euros, JDMs, Muscle cars, Trucks and especially the Skyline GTRs (huge GTR fan here, before the F&F series began) Strange as it is, Paul feels like he was a brother from another mother to me somewhat since we love cars, driving and anything about dealing with these great machines and just chill guys but we have never even met.

After Shelby, Tanabe from Amuse and Steve Jobs and others I look up to that passed away too soon, this is affecting me as well. :(

R.I.P Paul you will be missed. May the Car Gods watch over you and Rodas and enjoy racing with Rodas on Heaven Nurburgring. :(

Just heard about this myself and am truly saddened by the news. The Fast and Furious is among my favorite movie series and Paul Walker is a big reason why I watched them. R.I.P Paul Walker.

A spirited and kind soul. Seeing Fast & Furious was one of the reasons I have come to love cars. He truly was a great man and it is sad to see him leaving us so soon. R.I.P Paul Walker, we will miss you all.

Has there been any news related to the incident?

Besides that he was the passenger, and that the crash photos suggest that the car was going well above the speed limit - no.

Exactly, and for anyone to suggest before all the news outlets have their ducks in a row is a not very respectful to the dead. I know many people are going to be cynical and think the worst, but he was actually a more responsible guy around cars and supposedly Vin Diesel is too.

They crashed next to a sign with the posted speed limit of 15mph. The car is completely mangled, so they were definitely speeding.

It's shocking to loose Paul. Race in Peace Bro.

Carrera GT got disintegrated the car exploded after crashing on a tree. They probably were going fast but supercars are NOT supposed to explode like that. The car was completely... nothing remained. Horrible.
How could that happen?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Cars are obviously designed to hold together, but above a certain speed cars can't be expected to hold their shape under heavy impact.

Very sad news, RIP Paul.

Was extremely gutted to hear Paul and the driver, Roger Rodas passed away. My condolences to the families and friends that have been affected by this tragic event. RIP.

Yes but the car splitted in two pices. I can't believe it. Exactly where it is supposed to be the most resistent part of the chassis. I'm not saying they could have survived in another car (you can always die because of G-force decelleration) but it's shocking to see what remained of the car.

That sign isn't a speed limit sign, it's a sign ADVISING you to slow down to that speed at the posted corner. I agree that speed was obviously a factor. If you look at the map someone posted on page 3, you can bet they came around that right hander real quick, lost it, and took out the lamp post just after the entrance to that parking lot.

I feel it necessary to admit, I actually enjoyed Fast 5.
The rest of the FnF series didn't really appeal to me but I've gotta give credit where it is due.
He was a cool guy.
I feel like he would have ended up like Paul Newman if he had lived to the same age. This is surely a loss to the world of enthusiast. :(
