Just read the FM3 car list and seen that:" Cars on DVD2" WTF??? They seeriously bring a 2 DVD game on the Xbox? how should this work? change the DVD to buy some car?

Are both DL DVD´s? or can´t the 360 read double layer?

It's a 1.9gb install. You install the 2nd disk. You don't actually use the disk again after you install (it's kinda like getting DLC on disk instead of over the internet).

And I too have played the demo, and it looks much better. The environment and track details are better than GT5p, though the cars don't match the GT5p detail.

So, I am not sure of your point?
My point is, F3 car models dont look that much better then F2. I admit though, before the race starts, the cars look great. But once you accually race, the car detail disappears :(

Hmmm.....when I am in cockpit view after the race starts, and I see cars by me, the details look much better IMO. Before, no matter what set of wheels you put on in FM2, they all looked like the same gray hubcaps when you were racing. Now I can actually see which wheels they have on the car. That bugged me before.

Forza 3 models are a little more improved from FM2's. But the overall shapes haven't changed much, meaning the awkward proportions of the cars are still there.

I have to agree.
I do think it has alot to do with the track in the demo though. I'm pretty sure Trial Mountain will look as good / better when playing

Seen them. Not seeing it, other than pics that have odd camera angles. Sorry. FM2 lighting seems eras behind the FM3 lighting, based on the demo, videos and pics.

Those screenshots don't FM3 justice. FM3 looks by far, much better than FM2 when you are playing it.

BTW, Forza 2 is FOR the Xbox 360, but it was developed on the Xbox 1 engine from FM1. FM3 is new for the 360.

Yeah..which is why you are just better off playing the game then going by those horrible images. Playing the actual game, FM3 is much better looking.

I would agree but I've seen you post those dodgy looking IGN GT5P screens many times here, but now its all about how Forza is on your telly?

How about accepting them like you do those IGN screens.

Posting the crappiest GT5p images you can and finding youtube vids where people spend all day trying to bug out a game or show some early net code probs. Copy pasting some PSN site seems a bit funny to me.

How long would I last on fm.net posting the stuff you do and replaying to many GT related posts? Not long.

You put in fine effort defending Forza over and over but you can't make people like it more than another game.

I agree also. also on the replay of FM3, the car still have that floating look. As if the car was a hover craft. But he (bogie 19th) will defend that, and say that cars in RL look like they float on air.

Turn 10 and PD are all flaming tards. It's no different when PD says they don't have competition 👎

Really? :guilty: Could you point me to the flaming of PD?

I have to agree.

FM3 has trial mountain?? :scared:

Am I not able to enjoy both games? Hogwash. I love the fact that FM3 has a 94 on metacritic as well. I guess I am not the only one who likes this game.

I put in a fine effort defending Forza and GT, so I don't understand your point?

I think he was saying GT5's Trial Mountain will look as good as FM3's Trial Mountain-esque track, if not better.

Of course FM3 doesn't have Trial Mountain.

I wasn't so sure... FM3 has have Amalfi...

Well halo 3 haves a 94, and COD4 also haves a 94. But to say that Halo 3 is is just as good as COD 4 is hogwash. (IMO)

So that 94 you are seeing, is based off of ppls opinion.

I found the F3 demo fun, but its not what you make it all out to be. Graphics are ok, driving still feels like any other forza, some what arcady.

If you think FM3 is arcadey, don't play GT5p.

Exactly, and Uncharted 2 has a 95, and GT5p is an 80, and GT4 is 89 and GTPSP is 74. They are all opinions. It just seems the majority of opinions lean to liking the game.

So where are you going with this?

Do cars float in Forza 2 and 3 demo?

I haven't had any floating in the FM3 demo yet after about 15 hours of game play.

of course I meant GT's Trial Mountain ;)

Yeah... can't wait to see Trial Mountain in GT5. Great track. Doing GT2's 30-lap Trial Mountain enduro as I type this. 👍

I am not the one who is using metacritc, to claim taht a game is good. Look in the mirror Bogie.

GT5P requires good throttle control, simple stabs of countersteer will not correct a powerful RWD car when you have the throttle mashed and is likely to spin or snap. This is the reason many people get frustrated with GT5P's Pro physics in the same way many do with LFS and others.

This also makes it harder for controller users.

I think I know why it looks like that. The shadows under the car are too light.
Probably?

Just put the contrast on your TV 100%

Edit: Bogie could you point me to the flaming behaviour of PD and the tracklist of FM3? If you know where they are. I looked for the tracklist but I could only find a WIP one.

Exatcly, was going to post his, but you beat me to the punch. Which is why bogie doesnt seem to understand why i feel forza 2 and 3 still feels some what arcadey. Forza 3 demo I found fun, but its more on the line of Shift fun.

Thanks Jay.

I just told you I have played it on my TV LIVE in front of me, and have not seen floating 💡

Nope. I was just pointing out that popular opinion is that it was good, and I am finding it good. Do you understand?

I have found FM2 and FM3 both require good throttle control. The really bad arcadey feel of GT5p is the stupid bumper car racing. It just pukes the game out.

Actually it works out at 93.1% for the 10 reviews so far.

Reviews are too high these days IMO. NFS Shift had a 9 and I was left dissapointed. :(

I'm not saying this on Forza's behalf, but just in general. Alot of scores are just too high IMO, like GTA IV too...
