Thoes things behind the rear wheels are the rear mud flaps but you already know that, I don't know whats on the boot of the car though, the bars on the front are to protect the car from larger roacks and such, helps protect the front in the event of a crash, the black pipe is the intake hose.
And the snow track looks amazing. I can't wait to see the Nurb snow 👍

or straight, all meaning good. That beetle looks sexy, makes me want to drive one lol It's amazing how PD can make some of the ugliest cars look good. OMG, I cant wait to take a photomode pic of a CLK-LM 
or a Bentley Speed8, yes, I know that car hasn't been confirmed but I would bet it's in.

those pics are the worst photomode pics I've seen so far.
Just my humble opinion of course, but the cars are overly shiny, to the point of of sillyness. They sorta look pasted on to the backgrounds.
It's not fun when graphics-whores ruin a thread with nonsense like that is it?

My goodness... you know I love Japan. Those shots of that Japanese shrine (what is it? Nanjenzi?) are beautiful. If a rally race was in GT4 using that Japanese shrine or that bamboo forest, it would make sensational tracks. Just look at the WRC. They raced in Japan weeks ago (congratulations to Petter Solberg for winning the Great Britain Rally), so imagine if you could rally race those two locales I mentioned. The cars are pretty shiny, I'll admit that. I think some people said that you could not see the car on the side of you in your reflection, or something like that. But I'll tell you something. I'm actually pretty glad to see a classic VW Beetle in GT4. Don't respect them as much, but it's a nice car for the nostalgia-minded. And it's also nice to see the Vauxhall/Opel Tigra. It should be very nice to enjoy photo mode. I don't care what anyone says about the pictures. Besides, if you don't like Photo Mode, you MIGHT like the racing. Actually, I think the smoke and such are BETTER than GT3. It doesn't look extremely pixelated like GT3's smoke. If you want to talk graphics, I'm actually proud of PD for all of this. It's more of "take it or leave it."
These Photo Mode pictures are nice little teasers for GT4. These are made... to basically p*ss us off about not having the game yet. Nothing sweeter than sweet cars and badass environments. What more do you want? You can side with me and go for some city pictures. You can enjoy the colorful scenery of that Japanese shrine. You can take pictures in colorful and vibrant Tokyo. Perhaps make snow angels and then get back to business by taking snapshots in a snowy rally. Oh yeah, there's that snapshot of the inside of that Tokyo Airport. There is also that fish market or something, and let's not forget Hong Kong. But if you wanted to go Australian, make it Bathurst, Adelaide, Sydney... hell. I'd flash photos at Surfer's Paradise! Besides New York City, what would be nice AMERICAN venues to take photos? By the way, if you wanted some Latin American venues, look no further than maybe that Aztec or Mayan temple.
