WTH are we talking about now!? Lol.

Which Mulan thought we might be able to use to print our own Blu-Ray discs in the future but yeah, not going to happen.
From a non techy person here, why not have the PS4 stream films, download music from the music giants and have games that come on high resolution sd cards ?.
Just one question. If you want to create a BluRay disc...
BD-RW.
More of an implied question along the lines of "the hell's with that convoluted train of thought to use a 3D printer to 'print' a BD?"That's more of a statement than a question.
Sorry, I couldn't help it.
So, what of the guys buying new games? You're forgetting that eliminating the second hand market also denies them the chance to pass their games on (which they evidently do). Less money recouped from games means less money to buy new games. Add to that that you'll probably be shelling out even more in the future for DLC and stuff and voilá.
i buy 60% of my games used (but from people directly, meaning 10/20 euros). if i can't play sh games, ps4 and sony can die for all i care. i would either stop gaming or just go pc.
That's like building an ignition system based on tesla coils and giant capacitators because you don't want to buy lighter fuel for your lighter to light a zig, isn't it?Well because you still need the blank disc, the idea from Mulan was that you printed the whole thing.
See, that's what I'm talking about. You want to run Steam on PC components? Well, why would you print a PS4 cabin and stuff? Just buy a PC, install Steam and be done with it.Why not print a hommade pc cabin looking like ps4 with pc components but runs steam.
To summarize, you're prepared to bend over and "take it like a man". That's what it sounds like, at least. Hey, I for one am not desperate enough for a new console to not oppose what I perceive as pretty bad move by console manufacturers should they chose to follow through with it.Don't care..... not my problem. I keep all may games (87 on disc 80 psn since 2006) and can afford new ones. I almost never buy games when they come out. I wait like a patient adult who doesn't want to pay full price. You guys are just disagreeing with my point of view, It won't change anything. If we could vote against it I would, but I won't join the anti-anti-used game movement. I can live with it.
If there weren't so many "loyal gamers", aka. blinkered fanboys, Sony couldn't even think about shafting the second hand market. Purely because it'd make them go belly up in a heartbeat if the audience consisted of more "non-loyal gamers" ready to abandon them. This is the opposite of loyal and part of the problem. Sony does not need these gamer's and are open to abandoning them apparently.

If they launch their new console for x-mas like they say.
Is it safe to assume the next Grand Theft Auto, will be on the next gen consoles?
I can't believe they would pull the trick on us once more with launch title a la Wave Race.
Loyal fans don't have to worry too much, it's confirmed PS4 bundle edition will include this. I'm not desperate for a new console either. PS3 still doing the job farily well, 2nd market is good enough for all my gaming needs a part sim racing. Considering GT6 / Forza 5 will not necessarily be full blown simulators like rF2 or Assetto Corsa, I'm not even sure PS4 / X720 are an option for me. Maybe pCars will be, on next gen consoles. To summarize, you're prepared to bend over and "take it like a man". That's what it sounds like, at least. it was a joke.
And maybe a solution hiding investments...
cost just 500$ honey

I'm in the same boat, actually. In my case, though, it's that most games I cared about in the first place were multi platform titles (some exceptions aside). Most of those game out on the PC as well...I'm not desperate for a new console either. PS3 still doing the job farily well, 2nd market is good enough for all my gaming needs a part sim racing. It's not safe to assume anything. GTA:V has been announced for ps3 and 360. At this stage, the game will be in the final stages. It's highly unlikely that they'd bump it to next gen consoles as those will have fewer users. Don't forget, Rockstar have shareholders to please too. Should the game get pushed back to next gen, there would have to be a pretty good reason for it.
Edit: What wave race trick?
