Porsche hasn't been announced by KY or Porsche themselves, nor has PD made a special vid featuring Porkas, so not likely.As for Mclaren, i bet they will be part of this news bombardment in the next few days.

I'd say it was more like a unvieling then it was a announcement since no words were spoke about it.
 
True but what's the point of making a huge deal about a car we already know is in the game?

take a look here. i found an video of the 2009 24h race at the nürnburgring and i think i see porsches with gt5 commercials?!

And that is due to GT being one of the race sponsors, you could even buy those logos from eBay if I'm not mistaken. Doesn't mean Porsche is on GT5.
 
lol @ already suggesting locking this thread. If people want to keep talking, they're free to do that. It's not your concern so it doesn't affect you. People may always have hope of DLC as well, whether it's likely or not.
 
That just about settles it. I would never count DLC out but otherwise yeah that puts the nail in the coffin.
 
Porsche and Ferrari should have been money no object inclusions in GT5.

Porsche's garage of road and race cars is so rich and diverse I would happily cut 500 other cars from GT5 in return for Porsche.
 
Can we now close this thread since it is pretty much confirmed by Kaz that Porsche will not be in the game and to lesses the frustration of not seeing this game. Oh well at least RUF , the Porsche imitation is there even if it doe snot carry the famed Porsche logo.
 
I am disappointed about Porsche not being in GT5 but nevertheless I'm sure we'll enjoy whatever RUFs are in the game. I'm looking forward to belting around the 'Ring in an RUF.
 
So the Porsch EA liscence is still going on? I thought it ended this year with GT5 getting a delay and all, as even Kaz didn't expect. So Porsches have a 10% chance of showing as a new manufacturer.

porsches have 0% chance of being in the game. In more than one interview Kaz himself says that Porsches will NOT be in the game, but people still lie to themselves and then when they receive the final game and Porsches aren't there they get mad at PD.
 
I won't be mad, I only say this because Kaz didn't even know about the delay, he might have not known about a secret porsch deal. Oh who am I kidding?
 
well, at least there are the RUF manufactured cars to be driven; may not be porsche but is that a bad thing...? ;)

Thats right! Not a bad thing at all. I mean yes I'd preffer a Porsche Turbo or GT3 or something but think of it this way - whatever RUFs we get are going to be faster anyway. I'm looking forward to it.

Also. I am kinda getting bored with the RGT now. The yellow bird and CTR2 fine but I think they need some other different ones aswell.

There is 0% chance of them being in the game AT LAUNCH. Licensing issues can be resolved, and he clearly wants Porsche in the game due to him using the words "sadly not" when asked about it.

Besides, for me it's a moot issue because I think Porshce make the ugliest range of sports cars - far better choices already in the game.

In another thread, it was stated that the EA licence with Porsche expires in March. Weather this is true or not i have no idea, but it could explain why the release of GT5 has been delayed until March, and why we have not seen any Porsche in the promotional clips so far.
Pure speculation on my part, but it could also be the reason why we once had a 950 car total, and now its gone to over 1000.

We've had already some carshows to with new cars + concepts presented on almost every brand, with all these it could be over 1000, but this doesn't mean Porsche will be added. And my only wish is to have them in this game.
My only worry is that the best represented brand in Forza3 is Porsche...

We've known that Porsche aren't going to be in GT5 from post 1365 of this thread, but that didn't stop folk from continuing to talk about this subject.

I think this should stay open because, if we were to lock it, other threads would just be created about this anyway, and this thread works well as a catch all about Porsche and GT5.
