Possible Damage & Weather preview @ E3 for GT5P

I would love damage and a livery editor.
At least the cars would stand out online.

If anything, we'll probably see body deformation and maybe a few extra cars.

Variable weather conditions is an absolute MUST as is the option of the start time on the 24 hour clock for enduro racing .

well if they include enuduro races then there must be fuel and tire wear, whats the point of having an enduro without pitting strategy , so my guess we won't be seeing those until GT5

All of the races int GT5P are too short for actual weather, full wet races would be more likely. I think we need endurance races before we see changeable weather.
As for damage I would like to see private races first because damage and punters could mean some ugly races.

For GT5P What I would like to see in order before GT5 full is out.

1. Pvt Room's
2. In Race voice
3. Friends List
4. Damage
5. Weather
6. Day Night Cycle
7. Better Wheel support (G25)

Now that region lock is over I think in order those are the things most important right now.

Number 7 is just my own personal wish.

What I remember from GT3 and GT4..No one complained..It came out and we played it and beat the snot out of the game and right on time for the proluge of the next GT that came out. As a simRacer I disagree with you. If PD is going to pull this one off they have to make all the features mentioned above a reality. They have talked about the "real driving simulation/experience" for years but have always coming up short in some or many aspects. You can't have a "sim/racing game" without simulating as much of the "real" world as possible. PD has always put the looks before the functions in their software. I do love GT3, GT4 with all their flaws. But all the promises from PD is getting a little bit long in the tooth. It's time to stop talking and prove that GT5 wont be just spit and polish. This is just my personal feelings and thoughts as an endurance loving simracer.

IMO, PD has brought little to nothing evolutionary to the series over the years.
Sure, graphics have been upped, physics has been tweaked, but nothing in the way of simulated immersion.
By this I mean:

Weather
Advancement of time
Skid marks
Damage
AI...etc

While I don't expect all things to be included, then at the very least, weather and damage.
I hope that these things are included with the fall update if not for the immersion, then at least for the games name sake.

I dont get why people are expecting the Nurburgring before GT5 is out, the track clearly isnt finished yet, at least not to the standard thats in GT5P, so why expect to see it?
I reckon it was merely just a demonstration just for that event (the Nurburgring 24 hours) just like it was for the Le Mans 24 hours.

Which brings up the other question: Going by that logic, why aren't people expecting Le Mans before GT5? Why just the Nurburgring? Surely they have equal chances?

The thing I concern most is to have Private Rooms. These days I have been playing the International Suzuka Event (F430/R35 on Suzuka) with people all over the world and always got punted from the first corner! I knew that there were still lots of clean racers, but it's just so annoying to be hit from the side or behind and end up stopping my car in the kitty litter.

that would be a great deal, but in general as long a we et some sort of update to PROLOUGE thats it. better then just a trailer of 4 mins showing us things that we get to play with in 1 year time from now.

Sony doesn't own PD. They own the rights to the GT franchise but in no way do they own PD. Its like Insomniac (makers of Ratchet and Clank)
