PD make more than just games, they made the graphics used the the real life GT-R

Yup, and they have done other stuff too...

Other Projects

Polyphony Digital has also been involved in automotive related, but non-game projects. They have developed special versions of their Gran Turismo games for many car manufacturers as demonstrators for their cars. Nissan also commissioned them to design a special bodykit for the 350Z. More recently, they were contracted to design the multifunction display on the Nissan GT-R[1].

Why is it that I don't give 2 hoots about damage...and never did?
Hmm...Even if it was in,I hope they would include the option to disable it.

Not just that "crap" thing. Everything is moronic.

Quote:
"Gran Turismo 5 is one of those eternal pipe dreams, the latest in the "realistic driving simulator" series from Polyphony Digital. Except it's really coming, after more than four years in development and the warm-up teaser release that is Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. Expect photorealistic environments and licensed automobiles as well as downloadable video content for auto enthusiasts and, of course, online play."

Everything said above about Gran Turismo 5 can also be said for GT5:P. So, no point or some "true" GT5-unique features in that text, period.

"Of course, we are expecting all sorts of additional titles to appear during the Sony conference on Tuesday 15th, but this is the list of games actually confirmed to be on the floor at the event."

so can someone please clear things up for me.

Now that i saw the above mentioned E3 Game list and GT is not in it, will be get news or nothing at all?

From the link:

I'd take that as 50/50 chance of it being there.

I would say more like 95% chance it will be there. As I said in other threads, I remember other years GT was never officially confirmed at E3 before opening day, this happens every year and every year they show us some goodness. Even when they don't have anything really to show yet they make something up (remember the E3 GTHD demo of HD GT4 + HD TT combined).

It is too big of a Sony franchise not to show it off.

I think it will be like last year, probably a 30 second trailer showing maybe one new track and a few new cars. Everyone gets upset and says "That's all!"

Then the next week they show a much better trailer at some game show in Tokyo and everyone gets excited.

E3 isn't as important as it use to be, sadly.

Awwww I can't wait to see what happens:scared: I wonder if there will be a PS Store update tommorow like on the ol' PS Day, i'm putting 20 Pounds on there just incase somthing good is released.

I'll be looking out for the Sony Conference!! And the rest.....

is there anyway we can watch the sony conference or do we just have to wait till its posted on ign etc?

Because you wouldn't be able to bring the car over the finnish line in one piece or what? :dunce:

Car damage is REALISTIC, thats why I want it.. It would also help people to be more gently online for example.
