What is there to do to them?

On the chevy the dtivetrain doesnt run smooth, there is much rust at the doors, i want to put a louder exhaust system on it, wanna install chromed steel rims and it will get a new colour! I want more power for as cheap as possible but dont know anything yet!

The nissan will be my daily driver. New windshield, new exhaust, new tires, new brakes abd much more little things that in the end cost way too much :indiff:

My english is bad, i know :)

Yep, it's a 2009 Pontiac G8. I still refer to it as a Holden and people have no idea what I'm talking about.

Kinda wish i got a V8, but the G8's are getting harder and harder to find so I settled for the V6.

Sorry about that.
There's little difference in the Holden and G8 when you look at them and I personally believe that the Holden is much better looking in it's design than what GM did with the makeover.

Still, nice ride man, and even though it's a V6, still fun to drive.
Good luck with it.

+1 on the G8, really nice. There's a Commodore Ute with that same V6 and over 400hp naturally aspirated in Australia. They have plenty of potential if you want to spend money. I suppose yours is an auto?

400? yikes. All us V6 G8 owners can do is put on a CAI, unless you're willing to shell out $$$$ to import some stuff from Australia.

It is a 5 speed auto. GM decided that the only version that deserved a stick was the GXP and there were barely 2,000 of those made.

Yes, most unfortunate that. Aussies can get an SV6 Commodore with 6spd manual, and now of course the direct injection V6 too. We can also get a Commodore with a Pontiac front end if we want.
You might be interested in the CPR6 inlet manifold, that'd be easy to get to the USA from Australia.

It's still new, you have to wait for the engine to be out in America longer. And it might help to find mods for similar cars with the same engine, if you can. At the least, I'm sure it could be supercharged, CAI, exhaust, and a hypertech.
But I know there's anything and everything available for my Buick's 3800, thanks to all the supercharged-but-other-than-that-identical basically FWD's, Like the Regal GS, Grand Prix SS Monte Carlo SS, Impala SS, and of course, the Camaro's and Firebird's with it too.
So if other cars, specifically the new Camaro V6 has the same engine, or something else people want to tune, parts should be steadily coming out over the next 5 years or so.

Still need some practice with the clutch... I am still awful at hill starts. Might adjust it a little more tomorrow.

Hey guys, what kind of car of a brand new car I can get in the USA for around 18-22k that is most fun to drive? Prforably RWD, AWD setup, but still name the FWD cars. If car is around 23 or even 24K but its work it, post it. And yes it has to be brand new, 2010,2011, even for future 2012.

Forgot to mention it has to be an Automatic... 5 or 6 speed that is good and maybe with paddle shifters sequntial and what not. I have never driven a manual car in real life. As well i want convineice to just put it in D and go

Mazdaspeed 3, Genesis Coupe, Mustang V6 (2011 MY), all come to mind.

WRX might be a bit on the high side of pricing there and down on power compared to the other 3.

$24K gets you a mazdaspeed 3. Its front wheel drive but its fast as hell. Plus you're fighting the wheel the whole time you accelerate so its exhilerating

Sorry guys, forgot to mention it has to be Automatic a good auto setup or with sequential paddle shifters. I never driven a manual.

HAHA true! Where I can learn to drive one? My cousin had a Manual Mustang too bad he never teach me to drive one! Now, none of my family has a manual car. How is that GOLF? I hear it comes with 6 speed double clutch paddle shifters. Also I was even thinking the normal Imprezza, but it only has 4 gear AUTO.. 4 gears? lol its 1980s again!

My father suggested me the OUTBACK. I know they are fun to drive offroad and in snow.. are they fun to drive on normal roads? because 90% of driving happens on normal paved roads. So in other hand Legacy should be a good one.

Any other fun sedans?
