I never spent much time in the R53, by the time I'd gotten my Cooper the R56's were out. I think I only got a R52 convertible a couple of times as a loaner car but that was about it.
 
I think they look better in silver or even chrome, though they do look bigger

I'm just not a big fan of chrome myself and I kinda want to do some black or Carbon accents to the car anyways. So I think black wheels are the way to go for me. I want to convert to Z06 wide body fender's but I can't justify dropping that kind of money for an appearance thing. I'd rather have that money go to the supercharger fund first!

Nice. I love the ZR1 wheels in black. I'm planning on getting a C6 Z06 next year. First thing I'll do is throw on black ZR1 wheels. Then cam/headers/exhaust down the road & aggressive hood.

It's a Canon Rebel XSi, not mine though, parents have it for their dental practice for when they need to take before and after shots of mouths and whatnot. So I have access to it, but I have to ask my mom earlier in the day to bring it home for either that evening or the entire weekend. Inconvenient sometimes, but yeah it's a pretty decent camera.
 
Deactivated winter mode. Got the car washed for the first time in probably a month and put the summer wheels and tires on. Grip, feels good man.

Oh and I was playing around with colors on my phone and ended up Instagraming the picture to death.

I am not usually a fan of the Eclipse but that is a very tidy example. I like the wheels. Great photo. So jealous you have snow.

Was going to do it this weekend too, but with all the salt still on the road, and with the snow we've gotten the last couple of days, I decided to wait one more week.

Nothing says "too soon for summer tires" like rolling to work on egg shaped tires in the morning. :lol:
 
Very cool. I like how you move the camera and the mood, it reminded me of something from the movie Drive when you turned on the music. If I could make one suggestion, try to manually focus? You won't have that noise and it will look much smoother.

Car sounds good. 👍

And thanks, most people aren't either because they've never seen a nice one :lol: 99% of them have crap body kits and 90% of those still have primer/bondo on them lol. Fast and Furious ruined eclipses.

Thanks! Ya, I was totally going for that Drive vibe. I kinda just want to make a random movie around town with that same vibe haha. Also, that was my first time ever using autofocus on that Camera. I had no idea it was that loud, I'll definitely use manual focus next time! I'm currently trying to look for a good in car DSLR mount for the Corvette but can't seem to find anything decent.

You definitely should, infact don't be afraid to pretty much directly copy angles and whatnot used from the movie, then you can just tweak things to suit your own style. Some video editing software and maybe an external mic and you'd be set! Really, I see potential for something cool from your video. 👍

I don't imagine it would be too difficult to make your own mount if you can't find anything decent.

Definitely! I was thinking the same thing. External mic is on the list of things to get as well as a nice steadicam handheld mount. I sorta want to get into making videos and what not so practicing with my own stuff seems like a good way to get a hang of things.

Haha, thanks man. I've come to the conclusion that every time I wash the car from now on, I'll get another air freshner. Don't know if anyone caught the raccoon running for it's life after I started revving. I only noticed it after uploading it to YouTube. :lol:

Last 2 look like you might have used some HDR? I agree last two look a little flooded by the white from the glare. I really like the first one though 👍

In Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, yeah it's pretty nice but as you get into Phoenix or head west it's not as great looking. As you go into lower income areas it's pretty much just beige houses crammed together and strip malls. :yuck:

For example, here's the Mini at a relative's house.
