speaking of motor sports land, on that same corner (the last one before the straight) if you get too close to or hit the barrier, it will say 'wrong way' and youll have to go back around the barrier and redo the corner or you cant finish the lap

That sounds a right pain. I guess the answer is don't get close or hit the barrier.

There's another Motorsport Land bug aswell.
Sometimes the land dissapears, and you don't see grass, tarmac anymore.
You do see walls and other objects.

Odd,as always

Is the Motor Sports Land track only available in Arcade?

You aRE correct. Motor Sports and Autumn Mini Ring are only on the arcade disc.

Here's another oddity: when you make a record (fastest 400m time...best time in licences, etc.) it wants you to type your name, right? And then you have a choice: you can type OK or you can type CANCEL, but the cancel button doesn't do anything! It's not really a big deal i guess..just another odd thing.

i didnt know you could see through the houses.. that reminds me of a few more. at tahiti road while going around the last corner (near the bottom of the hill) if you look behind you the other cars will appear to be floating because i guess theyre out of the range of the background or something. and ive been messing with some kei cars lately and ive noticed that on one of the daihatsu move models, the 4wd version is lighter thatn the fwd version, maybe its suposed to do that but it doesnt make much sense. and with the suzuki cervo mode '90, if you race it or drive it, watch the replay and check the name, it says 'celvo mode'

F20
This was a one time thing but some old ****y mucle car FLEW by me in my fully tuned Skyline GT-R R34, this is also after I had a half a track gap!
that muscle car wasnt so ****ty after lol..

:)

Well,a Skyline is called "Skyllne".
Sounds Swedish.

Also at High Speed Ring, when you start, you see a blue hole through the stands.

If you sit at the top of the corkscrew at Laguna Seca facing various positions you can occasionally see other cars a mile away...they're jsut little dots! You can do this at Seattle, too.

In 2 i have never pulled off on out-of-bounds on the seattle course , but on the part of seattle two before the right-hander to the "stairway" you can nearly always see underneath the road , especially in replays , this "seeing through" a polygon curtain happens more often in two than in one.
The motor sports land is a workable glitch though and the only place to test that top gear. the should have this in GT4 in place of motorland which is boring and too similar to motegi , motrsports is like legoland in comparison and a real test of tune & driver fury ! I wonder if B-spec bob could outpace us if we could use all the PD tracks for some GODDAMN RACING ! :dunce:

For instance, has anyone noticed that the GT 90,a ford, has a Chevy bowtie emblem on it's grill and bumper.

I have. In the very high powered contest with the trd tom's supra and hks dragster etc. i saw two tom's Altezza's collide into each other and there was two cars in one!

Hey Shaunsund, welcome to our humble website. Yesterday i was doing a manufacturer's race at Rome Snort (pun intended) which is a great place for collisions. Anyways, i think it was the Citrëon Saxo race and i got nailed by one of the other drivers, and we drove as one about a quarter way down the straight, and then POW he shot out to the right of me and rammed the opposite wall!

Here's another oddity. Is Trail Mountain supposed to be at the BASE of a mountain? It seems in the beginning at the start line, you look off to the left behind the grandstands and there's this huge rock. It looks as tho they were trying to give us the illusion that this is the actual mountain, and that it goes straigt up. Problem is, from some angles, the “mountain“ suddenly stops. You can see clear blue sky up above it!

I was racing one of the manufacturer races for MGF and randomly got Grindelwald reversed. At the beginning of the race, everything was fine. But about half way up the long curve, 3 of the cars in front of me turned left INTO THE WALL where there IS no sudden turn...left OR right!! It was hilarious. Not only that, but i noticed that the race leader kept smacking into walls, into the wooden fence. It seemed every turn in the first half of the first lap presented a new opportunity for this bozo to **** up1

Appreciate that, thanks :)

It has something to do with how many times you write on this website, i don't know what it takes, tho. I've been here for a year posting every day almost, and just got my bronze. Also, if you pay money and get the GTPremium deal that probly also affects your membership status. (see above where it says ‘remove these ads’.

hey i noticed a pretty cool thing, its nothing WRONG with the game but its awesome. i bought one of my favorite hatchbacks in the game the citroen saxo (dont ask why i like it i dont even know) and i got it fully modded except for a few things (brake balancer, TCS, etc) and i went to my garage. at the car list it was still normal, but i went to look at the car and the name had changed to the 'Saxo F2 Kit Car' - i love it lol :dopey:

Yeah, i just noticed this the other day, too! I lived in Europe when i was a kid...it's too bad they didn't put some earlier Citroëns in....they're pretty wacky looking

yeah? i dont know much about any citroen cars besides the ones in the game, were they the ones with the suspension that adjusted ride height depending on the speed? or am i way off :dunce:

Yeah i know the SM series had an adjustable air suspension. I rode in one or a similar model when i was like 11 and it was like riding in a plane with no turbulence. Anyways, check out this websites http://www.chooseyouritem.com/autos/files/87500/87620.html to see an SM for sale. Also, check out http://www.team.net/www/ktud/2cv.html ....it features some of the older Citroens, the 2cv! It had a 2 cylinder air-cooled engine. Go ahead and make fun, it actually did pretty well in some early rally races!

Imagine a 2CV in a GT race. We called it the Pram when I was younger, don't see that many on the road anymore, nor the air suspension cars. Used to go up when you first turned the engine on, my Uncle had 1 for a little while.

When i lived on the west coast, there was a guy near my neighborhood who collects 2CVs (he has 3 of them). He also had a couple SMs and an old 2Cv truck, too. It's weird cuz in America, you simply never see Citroëns, period, unless you're on the west coast or up in Quebec.

so true.. ive never seen one myself. i had forgot about the 2cv! lol i have a pic of one in a book in my room, funny looking car..
and speaking of ppl who collect cars, theres a guy here who collect old vw's.he probly has about 50 or so, he gets old junkers, fixes em up and sells em. im gonna try to get a job there this summer, even if its without pay it would be cool to learn about the cars

lol! i checked those links and that car was so weird looking. here was my face :odd: :boggled: kind of a mix of those. is it a hatchback? couldnt quite tell
and those 2cv's are pretty interesting. that 'twin engine 4x4 sahara' sounds like a trail and track killer eh? ;)

Old VeeDubs are great. They're like cockroaches: they'll be around for ever. They shoulda had an old VW in GT2, it makes no sense that it was skipped. The beetle is also one of the greatest baja rally cars ever.

hah a cockroach... it does kinda look like one too.
hey thats cool. how do you know about these old races? do you watch that show 'legends of motorsport' on the speed channel? :)

Yeah, an old style VW beetle. My mate had 1 for his first car, it was like the Flintstones car in that it had no floor so you could put your feet down and push.
