Just seen the thread update - paying for tunes? Really? What's the cost supposed to cover, virtual fuel bills?

How do you deem a few replicable clicks chargeable, it's not like a 3D model that is actually your work.
If your time is also not worth anything read back through all the pages in the post. First, you'll find all your answers.

Second, you'll see that all the time he puts in is worth 5 dollars a month, what do you spend on coffee/ soda/ candy/ whatever indulgence you are into.

I, and I'm sure others, have improved hugely because of the tunes/ advice here so consider it a coaching fee but much cheaper.

Alternatively, go start a new thread somewhere else so you can keep whinging with all the others who need their diaper changed, everyone is sick of it.

You could call it the Smoothbrain Social Club

There is no need for insults.

Most people just want to drive, and don't have the time/inclination to learn how to tune and set cars. Its a no-brainer investment for anyone who is in this category.

The tiny monthly cost covers the 40+ hours per week that Praiano spends testing, tuning, tweaking and publishing tunes so that we all get the most enjoyment out of our sim racing hobby.

You are a real lesson giver with your 7 messages! If you can afford a subscription, good for you, but don't devalue a member who doesn't agree on the principle of payment. In addition, it's been 1 month since Praiano's made the slightest response here in his dedicated message and he no longer offers anything.

So, for you, it is normal that his Paypal link in his 1st message is still there, allowing him to earn even more money in addition to his Patreon site? So it's up to you to go elsewhere or create your own dedicated message, because you are indeed a polluter, someone who answers for nothing.

The sense of entitlement. Wow.
but don't devalue a member who doesn't agree on the principle of payment.
furinkazen's post was aggressive and sarcastic, which dictated the tone of lynchpin's response.

Praiano spends a huge number of hours every day creating tunes. To denigrate this work and say he's asking for money to "cover virtual fuel bills", is insulting.

There is no other GT7 tune garage that offers the quantity of tunes that Praiano does, let alone the quality, the commentary, the star ratings, the driving tips, the ease of use and speed at which one can apply tunes using the new site. All these features are invaluable to people who are time poor and just want to drive. Also, one learns a lot about driving and racing from Praiaino's comments on each car's strengths and weaknesses.

The $5/month is a very fair price. The Paypal link is there also because some of us who appreciate Praiano's tunes want to contribute a little bit more when we have some spare money available. Praiano has helped us for many years and he continues to help us every day with his tunes. The are worth a lot more than $5 per month!

There is a guy who loves to fish. Over time he used his knowledge and skills to make his own lures that work amazingly. Very quickly his buddies wanted the same lures as they work so well! His lures worked way better than the other 5 kinds they were using. Just no comparison to the quality.

For years he was known as the only guy who can make these work. He made them for his friends, he made for his kids friends. He loved it. Over time a friend of a friend's friend wanted lures, everyone knows about them.

Fishing with this guys lures just made fishing so much more fun. Did I need it, could I make my own? No, Maybe. But his hard work in developing this specialty product/service and I just get to have fun.

The guy who loved to fish and make lures decided people needed to bring supplies or cover the cost and he would get to them for sure. They would bring him gifts, cookies, Knick nacks as thankyou’s. For a long long time he did this.

As time went on, world changes, things change. He didn’t give anyone a reason, he didn’t have to. They respected him. He decided to start selling lures on Etsy. Everyone was happy for the guy, so cool he has done this for so long. Not only did people order on Etsy, but all of the friends and people who used to get free lures from him started going right on Etsy and ordering from him. This guy changed lures for the better. And they were inexpensive. Worked out to roughly $5 a month for people to get lures. Thats the way he said he wanted to do it. Monthly Lure fee. It was more than fair!

They were happy to support someone who has shared so much with the community, and it made their hobby more fun!

Pick your tangible lures and where you fish. Pick your video game car tunes and where you race in GT7 with Praiano’s wealth of knowledge. We should only be showing words of support, member or not.

GT7 is meant to have fun, I recommend you try these tunes. 15+ years in the commmunty. That is what’s called “a Pillar of the Community.

If you don’t like that’s fine, but we don’t really care. You go find some lures that work this well.

Try to see others view. Understand. Community support. Race some laps. Have fun.

So the amount of posts I have dictates whether I can share my thoughts or not? Go back under your bridge troll.

And speaking of polluters in threads....... Don't throw stones of you live in a glass house.

Oh, you can share your thoughts, but you cross the line when you start tossing insults.

Frankly, this thread should be closed as it's nothing more than an advertisement for his Patreon site.

Enjoy your drive.
Why does rim sizes not matter? I'm wondering for this tune but also other tunes in general. In my experience it has a huge impact on handling.
