Pre Order confusion....

The GT website has answered my question it seems http://www.gran-turismo.com/au/products/gt6/preorder/

So if you preorder 15th AE you get all 25 cars. If you preorder standard game you get 5 cars + selection of another 5 cars or 1 million credits depending where you preorder. The cars on the old list is nowhere to be seen so we can forget that. I also noticed the Apex II book is no longer listed as a bonus. Shame.

Just need to wait for EB Games to update their site to confirm. I already preordered mine so let's wait and see 👍

I preordered GT6 at GAME already. And as it said in the catalogue, the ApexII guide appears + 20 special cars (15anniversary edition cars?) would be included. Does it mean the content of the anniversary pack will change?

So the thing is, i am bit confused, over the 15th anniversary edition and the Gamestop Pre ordering..


I know the 15th anniversary edition include, a guide book, and Avatar thing..

-But what about the 15th anniversary edition cars (The blue ones) Are the cars also included, or it's only for Gamestop... ?

In GranTurismo's official site there's nothing said about GameStop, at least at Spain. I think that every Anniversary Edition has those blue cars, money bonus, etc.

Just called the gamestop closest to me. I said I had pre-ordered a couple days ago and that they just announced the anniversary package yesterday.

It's not on the system, but they said that they would be happy to switch it over once it shows in their system. I'm to give them a call early next week and see if its in their system! 👍

Any news on if there's going to be a 15th Anniversary edition for the U.S or is it EU only? I really want that steelbook + the entire lot of preorder cars but don't want to order trough Gamestop.

It shuld be a part of the Stealbook version of GT6.. ?

-I Mean, so shuld GT6 Anniversary 15 EDT, be sold out too right? :)
 
Someone posted a link a couple pages back about how the Apex II book was going to be released for Android/iOS devices, no word on an alternative to those who don't have a smartphone/tablet though. But then again, can you get apps with an iTunes account on a computer?

As for the confusion about the cars; There's different pre-order incentives and editions of the game in different regions. I believe so far the steelbook is only for the Anniversary Edition Europe and has the 20 cars, and you get the 5 more if you pre-order go through a 'participating' retailer. But US is more limited in that if you want all 25 cars you have to go through GameStop. Please correct me if I have misinterpreted it. :dunce::)

This is precisely why preorder incentives are BAD FOR GAMING!!!!!

If I worked at a retail store that has preorder cards, I wouldn't get the bonus BS because its not one of the four 'participating' [extorting] retailers.

So sick and fed up with this bull spit!!!
 
I agree, it seems too many games have "exclusive content" with pre-orders and you aren't getting the full game otherwise. I hope the kickback they get is worth it for alienating fans. :crazy:

I have a solution, more like a diabolical plan, but I'd rather not speak of it on the interwebs. If I can think of it, I'm sure others can too. If enough people participated, these exclusive offers would stop.
 
I called the guy at my local Gamestop today and asked about the 15th Anniversary Edition. He told me that my preorder would automatically upgrade so hopefully I get the Anniversary Edition.... :dunce:
